Whoever does will be the leader of everyone in Gilead.«

11 H3068 Aber der HErr H559 sprach H1121 zu den Kindern H3478 Israel H4714 : Haben euch nicht auch gezwungen die Ägypter H567 , die Amoriter H1121 , die Kinder H6430 Ammon, die Philister,

12 H6002 die Zidonier, die Amalekiter H3467 und Maaniter; und ich half H3027 euch aus ihren Händen H6817 , da ihr zu mir schrieet ?

Arabic⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ فحمي غضب الرب على اسرائيل وباعهم بيد الفلسطينيين وبيد بني عمون. ⁸ فحطّموا ورضّضوا بني اسرائيل في تلك السنة. ثماني عشرة سنة. جميع بني اسرائيل الذين في عبر الاردن في ارض الاموريين الذين في جلعاد. ⁹ وعبر بنو عمون الاردن ليحاربوا ايضا يهوذا وبنيامين وبيت افرايم فتضايق اسرائيل جدا. ¹⁰ فصرخ بنو اسرائيل الى الرب قائلين اخطأنا اليك لاننا تركنا الهنا وعبدنا البعليم. ¹¹ فقال الرب لبني اسرائيل أليس من المصريين والاموريين وبني عمون والفلسطينيين خلصتكم. ¹² والصيدونيون والعمالقة والمعونيين قد ضايقوكم فصرختم اليّ فخلصتكم من ايديهم. ¹³ وانتم قد تركتموني وعبدتم آلهة اخرى. لذلك لا اعود اخلصكم. ¹⁴ امضوا واصرخوا الى الآلهة التي اخترتموها. لتخلصكم هي في زمان ضيقكم. ¹⁵ فقال بنو اسرائيل للرب اخطأنا فافعل بنا كل ما يحسن في عينيك. انما انقذنا هذا اليوم. ¹⁶ وازالوا الآلهة الغريبة من وسطهم وعبدوا الرب فضاقت نفسه بسبب مشقة اسرائيل ¹⁷ فاجتمع بنو عمون ونزلوا في جلعاد واجتمع بنو اسرائيل ونزلوا في المصفاة. ¹⁸ فقال الشعب رؤساء جلعاد الواحد لصاحبه ايّ هو الرجل الذي يبتدئ بمحاربة بني عمون فانه يكون راسا لجميع سكان جلعاد

Bulgarian⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ И гневът на ГОСПОДА пламна против Израил и Той ги продаде в ръката на филистимците и в ръката на синовете на Амон. ⁸ От тази година те измъчваха и потискаха израилевите синове осемнадесет години — всичките израилеви синове, които бяха оттатък Йордан в земята на аморейците, която е в Галаад. ⁹ И синовете на Амон преминаха Йордан, за да воюват и против Юда, и против Вениамин, и против ефремовия дом. Така Израил беше крайно притеснен. ¹⁰ И израилевите синове извикаха към ГОСПОДА и казаха: Съгрешихме против Теб, защото оставихме нашия Бог и служихме на ваалимите! ¹¹ А ГОСПОД каза на израилевите синове: Не ви ли избавих от египтяните, от аморейците, от синовете на Амон и от филистимците? ¹² И когато сидонците, амаличаните и маонците ви притесняваха, вие извикахте към Мен и Аз ви избавих от ръката им. ¹³ Но вие Ме оставихте и служихте на други богове, затова няма да ви избавям повече. ¹⁴ Идете и викайте към боговете, които сте си избрали; нека те ви избавят във времето на бедствието ви! ¹⁵ А израилевите синове казаха на ГОСПОДА: Съгрешихме; направи ни каквото Ти се вижда добро; само, молим Те, избави ни днес! ¹⁶ И те отмахнаха отсред себе си чуждите богове и служиха на ГОСПОДА; и душата Му повече не можеше да търпи окаяността на Израил. ¹⁷ И синовете на Амон се събраха и се разположиха на стан в Галаад, а израилевите синове се събраха и се разположиха на стан в Масфа. ¹⁸ И народът и галаадските водачи си казаха един на друг: Кой е мъжът, който ще започне да се бие със синовете на Амон? Croatian⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ Tad planu Jahve gnjevom i predade ih u ruke Filistejcima i Amoncima. ⁸ Oni su od tada osamnaest godina satirali i tlačili Izraelce - sve Izraelce koji življahu s onu stranu Jordana, u zemlji amorejskoj, koja je u Gileadu. ⁹ Potom su Amonci prešli Jordan da zavojšte i na Judu, Benjamina i na Efrajima te se Izrael nađe u velikoj nevolji. ¹⁰ Tada zavapiše Izraelci Jahvi govoreći: "Griješili smo prema tebi jer smo ostavili Jahvu, svoga Boga, da bismo služili baalima." ¹¹ A Jahve odgovori Izraelcima: "Nisu li vas tlačili Egipćani i Amorejci, Amonci i Filistejci, ¹² Sidonci, Amalečani i Midjanci? Ali kad ste zavapili prema meni, nisam li vas izbavio iz njihovih ruku? ¹³ Ali vi ostaviste mene i uzeste služiti drugim bogovima. Zbog toga vas neću više izbavljati. ¹⁴ Idite i vapite za pomoć onim bogovima koje ste izabrali! Neka vas oni izbave iz vaše nevolje!" ¹⁵ Izraelci odgovoriše Jahvi: "Sagriješili smo! Čini s nama što ti drago, samo nas danas izbavi!" ¹⁶ I odstraniše tuđe bogove i počeše opet služiti Jahvi. A Jahve više ne mogaše trpjeti da Izraelci pate. ¹⁷ Kada su se Amonci sabrali i utaborili u Gileadu, skupiše se i Izraelci i utaboriše se u Mispi. ¹⁸ Tada narod i knezovi gileadski rekoše jedni drugima: "Koji čovjek povede boj protiv Amonaca, neka bude poglavar svima koji žive u Gileadu."

Maka Allah pun terharu hatinya melihat mereka dalam kesukaran. ¹⁷ Pada waktu itu tentara Amon sedang bersiap-siap untuk berperang. Mereka berkemah di Gilead.
