KJV_Strongs(i)
H4853 The burden H6865 of Tyre H3213 . Howl [H8685]   H591 , ye ships H8659 of Tarshish H7703 ; for it is laid waste [H8795]   H1004 , so that there is no house H935 , no entering in [H8800]   H776 : from the land H3794 of Chittim H1540 it is revealed [H8738]   to them.
H1826 Be still [H8798]   H3427 , ye inhabitants [H8802]   H339 of the isle H5503 ; thou whom the merchants [H8802]   H6721 of Zidon H5674 , that pass over [H8802]   H3220 the sea H4390 , have replenished [H8765]  .
H7227 And by great H4325 waters H2233 the seed H7883 of Sihor H7105 , the harvest H2975 of the river H8393 , is her revenue H5505 ; and she is a mart H1471 of nations.
H954 Be thou ashamed [H8798]   H6721 , O Zidon H3220 : for the sea H559 hath spoken [H8804]   H4581 , even the strength H3220 of the sea H559 , saying [H8800]   H2342 , I travail [H8804]   H3205 not, nor bring forth children [H8804]   H1431 , neither do I nourish up [H8765]   H970 young men H7311 , nor bring up [H8790]   H1330 virgins.
H8088 As at the report H4714 concerning Egypt H2342 , so shall they be sorely pained [H8799]   H8088 at the report H6865 of Tyre.
H5674 Pass ye over [H8798]   H8659 to Tarshish H3213 ; howl [H8685]   H3427 , ye inhabitants [H8802]   H339 of the isle.
H5947 Is this your joyous H6927 city, whose antiquity H6924 is of ancient H3117 days H7272 ? her own feet H2986 shall carry [H8686]   H7350 her afar off H1481 to sojourn [H8800]  .
H3289 Who hath taken this counsel [H8804]   H6865 against Tyre H5849 , the crowning [H8688]   H5503 city, whose merchants [H8802]   H8269 are princes H3667 , whose traffickers H3513 are the honourable [H8737]   H776 of the earth?
H3068 The LORD H6635 of hosts H3289 hath purposed [H8804]   H2490 it, to stain [H8763]   H1347 the pride H6643 of all glory H7043 , and to bring into contempt [H8687]   H3513 all the honourable [H8737]   H776 of the earth.
H5674 Pass [H8798]   H776 through thy land H2975 as a river H1323 , O daughter H8659 of Tarshish H4206 : there is no more strength.
H5186 He stretched out [H8804]   H3027 his hand H3220 over the sea H7264 , he shook [H8689]   H4467 the kingdoms H3068 : the LORD H6680 hath given a commandment [H8765]   H3667 against the merchant H8045 city, to destroy [H8687]   H4581 the strong H4581 holds thereof.
H559 And he said [H8799]   H3254 , Thou shalt no more [H8686]   H5937 rejoice [H8800]   H6231 , O thou oppressed [H8794]   H1330 virgin H1323 , daughter H6721 of Zidon H6965 : arise [H8798]   H5674 , pass over [H8798]   H3794 to Chittim H5117 ; there also shalt thou have no rest [H8799]  .
H776 Behold the land H3778 of the Chaldeans H5971 ; this people H804 was not, till the Assyrian H3245 founded [H8804]   H6728 it for them that dwell in the wilderness H6965 : they set up [H8689]   H971 the towers H6209 thereof, they raised up [H8782]   H759 the palaces H7760 thereof; and he brought [H8804]   H4654 it to ruin.
H3213 Howl [H8685]   H591 , ye ships H8659 of Tarshish H4581 : for your strength H7703 is laid waste [H8795]  .
H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day H6865 , that Tyre H7911 shall be forgotten [H8737]   H7657 seventy H8141 years H3117 , according to the days H259 of one H4428 king H7093 : after the end H7657 of seventy H8141 years H6865 shall Tyre H7892 sing H2181 as an harlot [H8802]  .
H3947 Take [H8798]   H3658 an harp H5437 , go about [H8798]   H5892 the city H2181 , thou harlot [H8802]   H7911 that hast been forgotten [H8737]   H3190 ; make sweet [H8685]   H5059 melody [H8763]   H7235 , sing many [H8685]   H7892 songs H2142 , that thou mayest be remembered [H8735]  .
H7093 And it shall come to pass after the end H7657 of seventy H8141 years H3068 , that the LORD H6485 will visit [H8799]   H6865 Tyre H7725 , and she shall turn [H8804]   H868 to her hire H2181 , and shall commit fornication [H8804]   H4467 with all the kingdoms H776 of the world H6440 upon the face H127 of the earth.
H5504 And her merchandise H868 and her hire H6944 shall be holiness H3068 to the LORD H686 : it shall not be treasured [H8735]   H2630 nor laid up [H8735]   H5504 ; for her merchandise H3427 shall be for them that dwell [H8802]   H6440 before H3068 the LORD H398 , to eat [H8800]   H7654 sufficiently H6266 , and for durable H4374 clothing.
ERV(i) 1 The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Kittim it is revealed to them. 2 Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished. 3 And on great waters the seed of Shihor, the harvest of the Nile, was her revenue; and she was the mart of nations. 4 Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, the strong hold of the sea; saying, I have not travailed, nor brought forth, neither have I nourished young men, nor brought up virgins. 5 When the report cometh to Egypt, they shall be sorely pained at the report of Tyre. 6 Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle. 7 Is this your joyous [city], whose antiquity is of ancient days, whose feet carried her afar off to sojourn? 8 Who hath purposed this against Tyre, the crowning [city], whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth? 9 The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth. 10 Pass through thy land as the Nile, O daughter of Tarshish; there is no girdle [about thee] any more. 11 He hath stretched out his hand over the sea, he hath shaken the kingdoms: the LORD hath given commandment concerning Canaan, to destroy the strong holds thereof. 12 And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Kittim; even there shalt thou have no rest. 13 Behold, the land of the Chaldeans; this people is no more; the Assyrian hath appointed it for the beasts of the wilderness: they set up their towers, they overthrew the palaces thereof; he made it a ruin. 14 Howl, ye ships of Tarshish: for your strong hold is laid waste. 15 And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years it shall be unto Tyre as in the song of the harlot. 16 Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered. 17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall return to her hire, and shall play the harlot with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth. 18 And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.
