Mbreti më dha letrat, sepse dora mirëdashëse e Perëndisë tim ishte mbi mua. ⁹ Arrita kështu te qeveritarët e krahinës matanë Lumit dhe u dhashë atyre letrat e mbretit. Me mua mbreti kishte dërguar një trup përcjellës të përbërë nga komandantë të ushtrisë dhe nga kalorës.

RST⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ И сказал мне царь: чего же ты желаешь? Я помолился Богу небесному ⁵ и сказал царю: если царю благоугодно, и если в благоволении раб твой пред лицем твоим, то пошли меня в Иудею, в город, где гробы отцов моих, чтоб я обстроил его. ⁶ И сказал мне царь и царица, которая сидела подле него: сколько времени продлится путь твой, и когда возвратишься? И благоугодно было царюпослать меня, после того как я назначил время. ⁷ И сказал я царю: если царю благоугодно, то дал бы мне письма к заречным областеначальникам, чтоб они давали мне пропуск,доколе я не дойду до Иудеи, ⁸ и письмо к Асафу, хранителю царских лесов, чтоб он дал мне дерев для ворот крепости, которая при доме Божием , и для городской стены, и для дома,в котором бы мне жить. И дал мне царь, так как благодеющая рука Бога моего была надо мною. ⁹ И пришел я к заречным областеначальникам и отдал им царские письма. Послал же со мною царь воинских начальников со всадниками.

Arabic⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ فقال لي الملك ماذا طالب انت. فصلّيت الى اله السماء. ⁵ وقلت للملك اذا سرّ الملك واذا احسن عبدك امامك ترسلني الى يهوذا الى مدينة قبور آبائي فابنيها. ⁶ فقال لي الملك والملكة جالسة بجانبه الى متى يكون سفرك ومتى ترجع. فحسن لدى الملك وارسلني فعينت له زمانا. ⁷ وقلت للملك ان حسن عند الملك فلتعط لي رسائل الى ولاة عبر النهر لكي يجيزوني حتى اصل الى يهوذا ⁸ ورسالة الى آساف حارس فردوس الملك لكي يعطيني اخشابا لسقف ابواب القصر الذي للبيت ولسور المدينة وللبيت الذي ادخل اليه. فاعطاني الملك حسب يد الهي الصالحة عليّ ⁹ فأتيت الى ولاة عبر النهر واعطيتهم رسائل الملك وارسل معي الملك رؤساء جيش وفرسانا.

Тогава се помолих на небесния Бог, ⁵ и казах на царя: Ако е угодно на царя и ако слугата ти е придобил твоето благоволение, изпрати ме в Юда, в града, където са погребани бащите ми, за да го построя отново. ⁶ А царят ми каза — и царицата седеше до него: Колко време ще продължи пътешествието ти и кога ще се върнеш? И на царя се видя добре да ме изпрати и аз му определих срок. ⁷ И казах още на царя: Ако е угодно на царя, нека ми се дадат писма до областните управители отвъд реката, за да ме пуснат да мина, докато стигна в Юда, ⁸ и писмо до пазителя на царските гори Асаф, за да ми даде дървен материал да направя греди за портите на крепостта при дома и за градската стена, и за къщата, в която ще се настаня. И царят ми даде всичко, понеже добрата ръка на моя Бог беше над мен. ⁹ И аз дойдох при областните управители отвъд реката и им дадох писмата на царя. А царят беше пратил с мен военачалници и конници.

Zazvah Boga nebeskoga ⁵ i odgovorih kralju: "Ako je kralju po volji i ako ti je mio sluga tvoj, pusti me da odem u Judeju, u grad grobova mojih otaca, da ga obnovim." ⁶ Kralj me upita pred kraljicom, koja je sjedila kraj njega: "Koliko bi trajao tvoj put? Kada ćeš se vratiti?" Pošto sam utvrdio vrijeme koje je odgovaralo kralju, pusti me da odem. ⁷ Još rekoh kralju: "Ako je kralju po volji, mogao bih ponijeti pisma upraviteljima s onu stranu Rijeke da me propuste do Judeje; ⁸ i pismo Asafu, nadgledniku kraljeve šume, da mi dadne drva za gradnju vrata na tvrđi Hrama, za gradski bedem i za kuću u kojoj ću se nastaniti." I dade mi kralj, jer dobrostiva ruka Boga moga bijaše nada mnom. ⁹ I dođoh tako k upraviteljima s onu stranu Rijeke i dadoh im kraljeva pisma. A kralj posla sa mnom časnike i konjanike.

I podobało się to królowi, i posłał mię, gdym mu zamierzył pewny czas. ⁷ Zatemem rzekł do króla: Zdali się to za rzecz dobrą królowi, niech mi dadzą listy do starostów za rzeką, aby mię przeprowadzili, ażbym przyszedł do ziemi Judzkiej; ⁸ I list do Asafa, dozorcy lasów królewskich, aby mi dał drzewa na przykrycie bram pałacu przy domu Bożym, i na mur miejski, i na dom, do którego wnijdę. I dał mi król listy według ręki Boga mego łaskawej nademną. ⁹ A gdym przyszedł do starostów za rzeką, oddałem im listy królewskie. Posłał też był ze mną król rotmistrzów i jezdnych:

Da bad jeg til himmelens Gud, ⁵ og så sa jeg til kongen: Om kongen så synes, og dersom du har godhet for din tjener, så ber jeg at du vil la mig reise til Juda, til den by hvor mine fedres graver er, så jeg kan bygge den op igjen. ⁶ Da spurte kongen mig, mens dronningen satt ved hans side: Hvor lenge vil din reise vare, og når kommer du igjen? Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ Şi împăratul mi -a zis:,,Ce ceri?`` Eu m'am rugat Dumnezeului cerurilor, ⁵ şi am răspuns împăratului:,,Dacă găseşte cu cale împăratul, şi dacă robul tău îi este plăcut, trimete-mă în Iuda, la cetatea mormintelor părinţilor mei, ca s'o zidesc din nou.`` ⁶ Împăratul, lîngă care şedea şi împărăteasa, mi -a zis atunci:,,Cît va ţinea călătoria ta, şi cînd te vei întoarce?`` Împăratul a găsit cu cale să mă lase să plec, şi i-am hotărît o vreme. ⁷ Apoi am zis împăratului:,,Dacă găseşte împăratul cu cale, să mi se dea scrisori pentru dregătorii de dincolo de Rîu, ca să mă lase să trec şi să intru în Iuda, ⁸ şi o scrisoare pentru Asaf, păzitorul pădurii împăratului, ca să-mi dea lemne să fac grinzi pentru porţile cetăţuiei de lîngă casă, pentru zidul cetăţii, şi pentru casa în care voi locui.`` Împăratul mi -a dat aceste scrisori, căci mîna cea bună a Dumnezeului meu era peste mine. ⁹ M'am dus la dregătorii de dincolo de Rîu, şi le-am dat scrisorile împăratului, care pusese să mă însoţească nişte mai mari ai oastei şi nişte călăreţi.

І я помолився до Небесного Бога, ⁵ і сказав цареві: Якщо це цареві вгодне, і якщо раб твій уподобаний перед обличчям твоїм, то пошли мене до Юдеї, до міста гробів батьків моїх, і я відбудую його! ⁶ І сказав мені цар (а цариця сиділа при ньому): Скільки часу буде дорога твоя, і коли ти повернешся? І сподобалось це цареві, і він послав мене, а я призначив йому час. ⁷ І сказав я цареві: Якщо це цареві вгодне, нехай дадуть мені листи до намісників Заріччя, щоб провадили мене, аж поки не прийду до Юдеї, ⁸ і листа до Асафа, дозорця царевого лісу, щоб дав мені дерева на брусся для замкових брам, що належать до Божого дому, і для міського муру, і для дому, що до нього ввійду.
