  5 H7451 Is not thy evil H7227 great? H5771 and thy perversities H7093 without end?
  6 H2254 [H8799] For thou hast taken a pledge H251 from thy brother H2600 without cause, H6584 [H8686] and stripped H6174 the naked H899 of their clothing.
  7 H4325 Thou hast not given water H5889 to the languished H8248 [H8686] to drink, H4513 [H8799] and thou hast withheld H3899 bread H7457 from the hungry.

  10 H6341 Therefore snares H5439 are around H6597 thee, and sudden H6343 fear H926 [H8762] troubleth thee;

Rotherham(i) 5 Is not, thy wickedness, great? and, without end, [are not] thine iniquities? 6 Surely then hast been wont to put thy brother in pledge, for nothing, and, the garments of the ill–clad, hast thou stripped off: 7 No water––to the weary, hast thou given to drink, and, from the hungry, thou hast withheld bread: 8 A man of might, to him, pertaineth the land, and, the favorite, dwelleth therein: 9 Widows, thou hast sent away empty, and, the arms of the fatherless, thou dost crush. 10 For this cause, round about thee, are snares, and a dread startleth thee suddenly; 11 Or darkness––thou canst not see, and, a flood of waters, covereth thee. 12 Is not, GOD, [in] the height of the heavens? ECB(i) 5 Is not your evil great? - your perversity endless? 6 Gratuitously you take a pledge from your brother and strip the naked of their clothing: 7 you give the languid no water to drink; you withhold bread from the famished. 8 The man of arm has the earth and the exalted face settles therein: 9 you send widows away empty and crush the arms of the orphan. 10 So snares surround you and sudden dread terrifies you: 11 or darkness, you see not; and abundance of waters cover you. 12 Is not Elohah in the height of the heavens? See the head of the stars - how high! 13 And you say, El knows what? Judges he through the dripping darkness? 14 Thick clouds are his covering that he not be seen; and he walks in the circle of the heavens. 15 Regard you the eternal way which mischievous men have trodden? 16 - who were plucked from time? - whose foundation was poured with a flood?

9 Tu as renvoyé vides les veuves; tu as maltraité les orphelins.
DarbyFR(i) 5
Observes-tu le sentier ancien où ont marché les hommes vains, 16 Qui ont été emportés avant le temps, et dont les fondements se sont écoulés comme un fleuve;
