Jeremiah 16

  1 H1697 The word H3068 of Yahweh H559 came also to me, saying,
  2 H3947 You shall not take H802 a wife, H1121 neither shall you have sons H1323 or daughters, H4725 in this place.
  3 H559 For thus says H3068 Yahweh H1121 concerning the sons H1323 and concerning the daughters H3205 who are born H4725 in this place, H517 and concerning their mothers H3205 who bore H1 them, and concerning their fathers H3209 who became their father H776 in this land:
  4 H4191 They shall die H8463 grievous H4463 deaths: H5594 they shall not be lamented, H6912 neither shall they be buried; H1828 they shall be as dung H6440 on the surface H127 of the ground; H3615 and they shall be consumed H2719 by the sword, H7458 and by famine; H5038 and their dead bodies H3978 shall be food H5775 for the birds H8064 of the sky, H929 and for the animals H776 of the earth.
  5 H559 For thus says H3068 Yahweh, H935 Don't enter H1004 into the house H4798 of mourning, H3212 neither go H5594 to lament, H5110 neither bemoan H622 them; for I have taken away H7965 my peace H5971 from this people, H5002 says H3068 Yahweh, H2617 even loving kindness H7356 and tender mercies.
  6 H1419 Both great H6996 and small H4191 shall die H776 in this land; H6912 they shall not be buried, H5594 neither shall men lament H1413 for them, nor cut H7139 themselves, nor make themselves bald for them;
  7 H6536 neither shall men break H60 bread for them in mourning, H5162 to comfort H4191 them for the dead; H3563 neither shall men give them the cup H8575 of consolation H8248 to drink H1 for their father H517 or for their mother.
  8 H935 You shall not go H1004 into the house H4960 of feasting H3427 to sit H398 with them, to eat H8354 and to drink.
  9 H559 For thus says H3068 Yahweh H6635 of Armies, H430 the God H3478 of Israel: H7673 Behold, I will cause to cease H4725 out of this place, H5869 before your eyes H3117 and in your days, H6963 the voice H8342 of mirth H6963 and the voice H8057 of gladness, H6963 the voice H2860 of the bridegroom H6963 and the voice H3618 of the bride.
  10 H5046 It shall happen, when you shall show H5971 this people H1697 all these words, H559 and they shall tell H3068 you, Why has Yahweh H1696 pronounced H1419 all this great H7451 evil H5771 against us? or what is our iniquity? H2403 or what is our sin H2398 that we have committed H3068 against Yahweh H430 our God?
  11 H559 Then you shall tell H1 them, Because your fathers H5800 have forsaken H5002 me, says H3068 Yahweh, H3212 and have walked H310 after H312 other H430 gods, H5647 and have served H7812 them, and have worshiped H5800 them, and have forsaken H8104 me, and have not kept H8451 my law;
  12 H6213 and you have done H7489 evil H1 more than your fathers; H2009 for, behold, H1980 you walk H376 every one H310 after H8307 the stubbornness H7451 of his evil H3820 heart, H8085 so that you don't listen to me:
  13 H2904 therefore will I cast H776 you forth out of this land H776 into the land H3045 that you have not known, H1 neither you nor your fathers; H5647 and there you shall serve H312 other H430 gods H3119 day H3915 and night; H5414 for I will show H2594 you no favor.
  14 H3117 Therefore, behold, the days H935 come, H5002 says H3068 Yahweh, H559 that it shall no more be said, H3068 As Yahweh H2416 lives, H5927 who brought up H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt;
  15 H3068 but, As Yahweh H2416 lives, H5927 who brought up H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H776 from the land H6828 of the north, H776 and from all the countries H5080 where he had driven H7725 them. I will bring them again H127 into their land H5414 that I gave H1 to their fathers.
  16 H7971 Behold, I will send H7227 for many H1771 fishermen, H5002 says H3068 Yahweh, H1770 and they shall fish H310 them up; and afterward H7971 I will send H7227 for many H6719 hunters, H6679 and they shall hunt H2022 them from every mountain, H1389 and from every hill, H5357 and out of the clefts H5553 of the rocks.
  17 H5869 For my eyes H1870 are on all their ways; H5641 they are not hidden H6440 from my face, H5771 neither is their iniquity H6845 concealed H5048 from H5869 my eyes.
  18 H7223 First H7999 I will recompense H5771 their iniquity H2403 and their sin H4932 double, H2490 because they have polluted H776 my land H5038 with the carcasses H8251 of their detestable H4390 things, and have filled H5159 my inheritance H8441 with their abominations.
  19 H3068 Yahweh, H5797 my strength, H5797 and my stronghold, H4498 and my refuge H3117 in the day H6869 of affliction, H1471 to you shall the nations H935 come H657 from the ends H776 of the earth, H559 and shall say, H1 Our fathers H5157 have inherited H8267 nothing but lies, H1892 vanity H3276 and things in which there is no profit.
  20 H120 Shall a man H6213 make H430 to himself gods, H430 which yet are no gods?
  21 H3045 Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know, H6471 this once H3045 will I cause them to know H3027 my hand H1369 and my might; H3045 and they shall know H8034 that my name H3068 is Yahweh.
