(13:43) tu scis quoniam falsum testimonium tulerunt contra me: et ecce morior, cum nihil horum fecerim, quæ isti malitiose composuerunt adversum me.
(13:44) Exaudivit autem Dominus vocem ejus.
(13:45) Cumque duceretur ad mortem, suscitavit Dominus spiritum sanctum pueri junioris, cujus nomen Daniel:
(13:46) et exclamavit voce magna: Mundus ego sum a sanguine hujus.
(13:58) Nunc ergo, dic mihi sub qua arbore comprehenderis eos loquentes sibi.
Et ait rex: Do tibi.

Thomson(i) 7 And I heard the man clothed with the fine robes who was over the water of the river. He lifted up his right and his left hand to heaven and sware by him who liveth forever and ever that it will be until a time of times and the half of a time. When an end is put to the dispersion, they will know all these things. 8 As for me though I heard I did not understand. So I said, Lord, What will be the issue of these things? 9 And he said, Come Daniel. Because these words are shut up and sealed until the end of a time. 10 Though many be chosen and made white and purified and sanctified, and transgressors transgress; yet no transgressor will understand but the prudent will understand. 11 Now from the time of the change of the daily sacrifice, when the abomination of desolation shall be set up there will be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Happy he who will wait and come to a thousand three hundred and thirty five days. 13 But as for thee, come and go to rest, for still there will be days and hours to the final accomplishment. Leeser(i) 7 Then heard I the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; and he lifted up his right hand and his left hand unto the heavens, and swore by the Everliving One that after a time, times, and a half, and when there shall be an end to the crushing of the power of the holy people, all these things shall be ended. 8 And I heard indeed, but I understood it not: then said I, O my lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be selected and cleansed, and purified; but the wicked will deal wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand: but the intelligent will understand. 11 And from the time that the continual sacrifice will be removed, even to set up the desolating abomination, there will be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Happy is he that waiteth, and attaineth to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. 13 But thou, go thy way toward the end; and thou shalt rest, and arise again for thy lot at the end of the days.
YLT(i) 7 And I hear the one clothed in linen, who is upon the waters of the flood, and he doth lift up his right hand and his left unto the heavens, and sweareth by Him who is living to the age, that, `After a time, times, and a half, and at the completion of the scattering of the power of the holy people, finished are all these.' 8 And I have heard, and I do not understand, and I say, `O my lord, what is the latter end of these?' 9 And he saith, `Go, Daniel; for hidden and sealed are the things till the time of the end; 10 Purify themselves, yea, make themselves white, yea, refined are many: and the wicked have done wickedly, and none of the wicked understand, and those acting wisely do understand; 11 and from the time of the turning aside of the perpetual sacrifice, and to the giving out of the desolating abomination, are days a thousand, two hundred, and ninety. 12 O the blessedness of him who is waiting earnestly, and doth come to the days, a thousand, three hundred, thirty and five. 13 And thou, go on to the end, then thou dost rest, and dost stand in thy lot at the end of the days.'
