1 Kings 9:1-9 And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the LORD , and the king's house , and all Solomon's desire which he was pleased to do ,

1 H8010 And it came to pass, when Solomon H3615 had finished [H8763] H1129 the building [H8800] H1004 of the house H3068 of the LORD H4428 , and the king's H1004 house H8010 , and all Solomon's H2837 desire H2654 which he was pleased [H8804] H6213 to do [H8800] ,

2 H3068 That the LORD H7200 appeared [H8735] H8010 to Solomon H8145 the second time H7200 , as he had appeared [H8738] H1391 unto him at Gibeon.

3 H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799] H8085 unto him, I have heard [H8804] H8605 thy prayer H8467 and thy supplication H2603 , that thou hast made [H8694] H6440 before H6942 me: I have hallowed [H8689] H1004 this house H1129 , which thou hast built [H8804] H7760 , to put [H8800] H8034 my name H5704 there for H5769 ever H5869 ; and mine eyes H3820 and mine heart H3117 shall be there perpetually.

4 H3212 And if thou wilt walk [H8799] H6440 before H1732 me, as David H1 thy father H1980 walked [H8804] H8537 , in integrity H3824 of heart H3476 , and in uprightness H6213 , to do [H8800] H6680 according to all that I have commanded [H8765] H8104 thee, and wilt keep [H8799] H2706 my statutes H4941 and my judgments:

5 H6965 Then I will establish [H8689] H3678 the throne H4467 of thy kingdom H3478 upon Israel H5769 for ever H1696 , as I promised [H8765] H1732 to David H1 thy father H559 , saying [H8800] H3772 , There shall not fail [H8735] H376 thee a man H3678 upon the throne H3478 of Israel.

6 H7725 But if ye shall at all [H8800] H7725 turn [H8799] H310 from following H1121 me, ye or your children H8104 , and will not keep [H8799] H4687 my commandments H2708 and my statutes H5414 which I have set [H8804] H6440 before H1980 you, but go [H8804] H5647 and serve [H8804] H312 other H430 gods H7812 , and worship [H8694] them:

7 H3772 Then will I cut off [H8689] H3478 Israel H6440 out H127 of the land H5414 which I have given [H8804] H1004 them; and this house H6942 , which I have hallowed [H8689] H8034 for my name H7971 , will I cast out [H8762] H6440 of my sight H3478 ; and Israel H4912 shall be a proverb H8148 and a byword H5971 among all people:

8 H1004 And at this house H5945 , which is high H5674 , every one that passeth [H8802] H8074 by it shall be astonished [H8799] H8319 , and shall hiss [H8804] H559 ; and they shall say [H8804] H3068 , Why hath the LORD H6213 done [H8804] H776 thus unto this land H1004 , and to this house?

9 H559 And they shall answer [H8804] H5800 , Because they forsook [H8804] H3068 the LORD H430 their God H3318 , who brought forth [H8689] H1 their fathers H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt H2388 , and have taken hold [H8686] H312 upon other H430 gods H7812 , and have worshipped [H8691] H5647 them, and served [H8799] H3068 them: therefore hath the LORD H935 brought [H8689] H7451 upon them all this evil.
