1 Kings 9:1-9 It happened, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of Yahweh, and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he was pleased to do,

1 H8010 It happened, when Solomon H3615 had finished H1129 the building H1004 of the house H3068 of Yahweh, H4428 and the king's H1004 house, H8010 and all Solomon's H2837 desire H2654 which he was pleased H6213 to do,

2 H3068 that Yahweh H7200 appeared H8010 to Solomon H8145 the second time, H7200 as he had appeared H1391 to him at Gibeon.

3 H3068 Yahweh H559 said H8085 to him, "I have heard H8605 your prayer H8467 and your supplication, H2603 that you have made H6440 before H2603 me. I have made H1004 this house H6942 holy, H1129 which you have built, H7760 to put H8034 my name H5769 there forever; H5869 and my eyes H3820 and my heart H3117 shall be there perpetually.

4 H3212 As for you, if you will walk H6440 before H1732 me, as David H1 your father H1980 walked, H8537 in integrity H3824 of heart, H3476 and in uprightness, H6213 to do H6680 according to all that I have commanded H8104 you, and will keep H2706 my statutes H4941 and my ordinances;

5 H6965 then I will establish H3678 the throne H4467 of your kingdom H3478 over Israel H5769 forever, H1696 according as I promised H1732 to David H1 your father, H559 saying, H3772 ‘There shall not fail H376 you a man H3678 on the throne H3478 of Israel.'

6 H7725 But if you turn H7725 away H310 from following H1121 me, you or your children, H8104 and not keep H4687 my commandments H2708 and my statutes H5414 which I have set H6440 before H1980 you, but shall go H5647 and serve H312 other H430 gods, H7812 and worship them;

7 H3772 then will I cut off H3478 Israel H6440 out H127 of the land H5414 which I have given H1004 them; and this house, H6942 which I have made holy H8034 for my name, H7971 will I cast out H6440 of my sight; H3478 and Israel H4912 shall be a proverb H8148 and a byword H5971 among all peoples.

8 H1004 Though this house H5945 is so high, H5674 yet shall everyone who passes H8074 by it be astonished, H8319 and shall hiss; H559 and they shall say, H3068 ‘Why has Yahweh H6213 done H776 thus to this land, H1004 and to this house?'

9 H559 and they shall answer, H5800 ‘Because they forsook H3068 Yahweh H430 their God, H3318 who brought H1 their fathers H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt, H2388 and laid hold H312 of other H430 gods, H7812 and worshiped H5647 them, and served H3068 them. Therefore Yahweh H935 has brought H7451 all this evil on them.'"
