Isaiah 3 כי For, הנה behold, האדון the Lord, יהוה the LORD צבאות of hosts, מסיר doth take away מירושׁלם ומיהודה משׁען the stay ומשׁענה and the staff, כל the whole משׁען stay לחם of bread, וכל and the whole משׁען stay מים׃ of water,

1 H3588 כי For, H2009 הנה behold, H113 האדון the Lord, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H5493 מסיר doth take away H3389 מירושׁלם H3063 ומיהודה H4937 משׁען the stay H4938 ומשׁענה and the staff, H3605 כל the whole H4937 משׁען stay H3899 לחם of bread, H3605 וכל and the whole H4937 משׁען stay H4325 מים׃ of water,

2 H1368 גבור The mighty H376 ואישׁ man, and the man H4421 מלחמה of war, H8199 שׁופט the judge, H5030 ונביא and the prophet, H7080 וקסם and the prudent, H2205 וזקן׃ and the ancient,

3 H8269 שׂר The captain H2572 חמשׁים of fifty, H5375 ונשׂוא and the honorable man, H6440 פנים and the honorable man, H3289 ויועץ and the counselor, H2450 וחכם and the cunning H2798 חרשׁים H995 ונבון and the eloquent H3908 לחשׁ׃ orator.

4 H5414 ונתתי And I will give H5288 נערים children H8269 שׂריהם their princes, H8586 ותעלולים and babes H4910 ימשׁלו׃ shall rule

5 H5065 ונגשׂ shall be oppressed, H5971 העם And the people H376 אישׁ every one H376 באישׁ by another, H376 ואישׁ and every one H7453 ברעהו by his neighbor: H7292 ירהבו shall behave himself proudly H5288 הנער the child H2205 בזקן against the ancient, H7034 והנקלה and the base H3513 בנכבד׃ against the honorable.

6 H3588 כי When H8610 יתפשׂ shall take hold H376 אישׁ a man H251 באחיו of his brother H1004 בית of the house H1 אביו of his father, H8071 שׂמלה Thou hast clothing, H1980 לכה H7101 קצין thou our ruler, H1961 תהיה be H4384 לנו והמכשׁלה ruin H2063 הזאת and this H8478 תחת under H3027 ידך׃ thy hand:

7 H5375 ישׂא shall he swear, H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא In that H559 לאמר saying, H3808 לא I will not H1961 אהיה be H2280 חבשׁ a healer; H1004 ובביתי for in my house H369 אין neither H3899 לחם bread H369 ואין nor H8071 שׂמלה clothing: H3808 לא me not H7760 תשׂימני make H7101 קצין a ruler H5971 עם׃ of the people.

8 H3588 כי For H3782 כשׁלה is ruined, H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H3063 ויהודה and Judah H5307 נפל is fallen: H3588 כי because H3956 לשׁונם their tongue H4611 ומעלליהם and their doings H413 אל against H3068 יהוה the LORD, H4784 למרות to provoke H5869 עני the eyes H3519 כבודו׃ of his glory.

9 H1971 הכרת The show H6440 פניהם of their countenance H6030 ענתה doth witness H2403 בם וחטאתם their sin H5467 כסדם as Sodom, H5046 הגידו against them; and they declare H3808 לא not. H3582 כחדו they hide H188 אוי Woe H5315 לנפשׁם unto their soul! H3588 כי for H1580 גמלו they have rewarded H1992 להם H7451 רעה׃ evil

10 H559 אמרו Say H6662 צדיק ye to the righteous, H3588 כי that H2896 טוב H3588 כי for H6529 פרי the fruit H4611 מעלליהם of their doings. H398 יאכלו׃ they shall eat

11 H188 אוי Woe H7563 לרשׁע unto the wicked! H7451 רע ill H3588 כי for H1576 גמול the reward H3027 ידיו of his hands H6213 יעשׂה׃ shall be given

12 H5971 עמי my people, H5065 נגשׂיו their oppressors, H5768 מעולל children H802 ונשׁים and women H4910 משׁלו rule H5971 בו עמי over them. O my people, H833 מאשׁריך they which lead H8582 מתעים thee cause to err, H1870 ודרך the way H734 ארחתיך of thy paths. H1104 בלעו׃ and destroy

13 H5324 נצב standeth up H7378 לריב to plead, H3068 יהוה The LORD H5975 ועמד and standeth H1777 לדין to judge H5971 עמים׃ the people.

14 H3068 יהוה The LORD H4941 במשׁפט into judgment H935 יבוא will enter H5973 עם with H2205 זקני the ancients H5971 עמו of his people, H8269 ושׂריו and the princes H859 ואתם thereof: for ye H1197 בערתם have eaten up H3754 הכרם the vineyard; H1500 גזלת the spoil H6041 העני of the poor H1004 בבתיכם׃ in your houses.

15 H4480 מלכם H1792 תדכאו ye beat my people to pieces, H5971 עמי ye beat my people to pieces, H6440 ופני the faces H6041 עניים of the poor? H2912 תטחנו and grind H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה H6635 צבאות׃ of hosts.

16 H559 ויאמר saith, H3069 יהוה H3282 יען H3588 כי H1361 גבהו are haughty, H1323 בנות the daughters H6726 ציון of Zion H1980 ותלכנה and walk H5186 נטוות with stretched forth H1627 גרון necks H8265 ומשׂקרות and wanton H5869 עינים eyes, H1980 הלוך walking H2952 וטפף and mincing H1980 תלכנה they go, H7272 וברגליהם with their feet: H5913 תעכסנה׃ and making a tinkling

17 H5596 ושׂפח will smite with a scab H136 אדני Therefore the Lord H6936 קדקד the crown of the head H1323 בנות of the daughters H6726 ציון of Zion, H3068 ויהוה and the LORD H6596 פתהן their secret parts. H6168 יערה׃ will discover

18 H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא In that H5493 יסיר will take away H136 אדני the Lord H853 את H8597 תפארת the bravery H5914 העכסים of tinkling ornaments H7636 והשׁביסים and cauls, H7720 והשׂהרנים׃ and round tires

19 H5188 הנטיפות The chains, H8285 והשׁירות and the bracelets, H7479 והרעלות׃ and the mufflers,

20 H6287 הפארים The bonnets, H6807 והצעדות and the ornaments of the legs, H7196 והקשׁרים and the headbands, H1004 ובתי and the tablets, H5315 הנפשׁ and the tablets, H3908 והלחשׁים׃ and the earrings,

21 H2885 הטבעות The rings, H5141 ונזמי jewels, H639 האף׃ and nose

22 H4254 המחלצות The changeable suits of apparel, H4595 והמעטפות and the mantles, H4304 והמטפחות and the wimples, H2754 והחריטים׃ and the crisping pins,

23 H1549 והגלינים The glasses, H5466 והסדינים and the fine linen, H6797 והצניפות and the hoods, H7289 והרדידים׃ and the veils.

24 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H8478 תחת instead H1314 בשׂם of sweet smell H4716 מק stink; H1961 יהיה there shall be H8478 ותחת and instead H2290 חגורה of a girdle H5364 נקפה a rent; H8478 ותחת and instead H4639 מעשׂה of well set H4748 מקשׁה hair H7144 קרחה baldness; H8478 ותחת and instead H6614 פתיגיל of a stomacher H4228 מחגרת a girding H8242 שׂק of sackcloth; H3587 כי burning H8478 תחת instead H3308 יפי׃ of beauty.

25 H4962 מתיך Thy men H2719 בחרב by the sword, H5307 יפלו shall fall H1369 וגבורתך and thy mighty H4421 במלחמה׃ in the war.

26 H578 ואנו shall lament H56 ואבלו and mourn; H6607 פתחיה And her gates H5352 ונקתה and she desolate H776 לארץ upon the ground. H3427 תשׁב׃ shall sit
