Isaiah 2 הדבר The word אשׁר that חזה saw ישׁעיהו Isaiah בן the son אמוץ of Amoz על concerning יהודה Judah וירושׁלם׃ and Jerusalem.

2 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass H319 באחרית in the last H3117 הימים days, H3559 נכון established H1961 יהיה shall be H2022 הר the mountain H1004 בית house H3068 יהוה of the LORD's H7218 בראשׁ in the top H2022 ההרים of the mountains, H5375 ונשׂא and shall be exalted H1389 מגבעות above the hills; H5102 ונהרו shall flow H413 אליו unto H3605 כל and all H1471 הגוים׃ nations

3 H1980 והלכו shall go H5971 עמים people H7227 רבים And many H559 ואמרו and say, H1980 לכו Come H5927 ונעלה ye, and let us go up H413 אל to H2022 הר the mountain H3069 יהוה H413 אל to H1004 בית the house H430 אלהי of the God H3290 יעקב of Jacob; H3384 וירנו and he will teach H1870 מדרכיו us of his ways, H1980 ונלכה and we will walk H734 בארחתיו in his paths: H3588 כי for H6726 מציון H3318 תצא shall go forth H8451 תורה the law, H1697 ודבר and the word H3069 יהוה H3389 מירושׁלם׃

4 H8199 ושׁפט And he shall judge H996 בין among H1471 הגוים the nations, H3198 והוכיח and shall rebuke H5971 לעמים people: H7227 רבים many H3807 וכתתו and they shall beat H2719 חרבותם their swords H855 לאתים into plowshares, H2595 וחניתותיהם and their spears H4211 למזמרות into pruning hooks: H3808 לא shall not H5375 ישׂא lift up H1471 גוי nation H413 אל against H1471 גוי nation, H2719 חרב sword H3808 ולא neither H3925 ילמדו shall they learn H5750 עוד any more. H4421 מלחמה׃ war

5 H1004 בית O house H3290 יעקב of Jacob, H1980 לכו come H1980 ונלכה ye, and let us walk H216 באור in the light H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

6 H3588 כי Therefore H5203 נטשׁתה thou hast forsaken H5971 עמך thy people H1004 בית the house H3290 יעקב of Jacob, H3588 כי because H4390 מלאו they be replenished H6924 מקדם from the east, H6049 ועננים and soothsayers H6430 כפלשׁתים like the Philistines, H3206 ובילדי in the children H5237 נכרים of strangers. H5606 ישׂפיקו׃ and they please themselves

7 H4390 ותמלא also is full H776 ארצו Their land H3701 כסף of silver H2091 וזהב and gold, H369 ואין neither H7097 קצה end H214 לאצרתיו of their treasures; H4390 ותמלא is also full H776 ארצו their land H5483 סוסים of horses, H369 ואין neither H7097 קצה end H4818 למרכבתיו׃ of their chariots:

8 H4390 ותמלא also is full H776 ארצו Their land H457 אלילים of idols; H4639 למעשׂה the work H3027 ידיו of their own hands, H7812 ישׁתחוו they worship H834 לאשׁר that which H6213 עשׂו have made: H676 אצבעתיו׃ their own fingers

9 H7817 וישׁח boweth down, H120 אדם And the mean man H8213 וישׁפל humbleth H376 אישׁ and the great man H408 ואל them not. H5375 תשׂא׃ himself: therefore forgive

10 H935 בוא Enter H6697 בצור into the rock, H2934 והטמן and hide H6083 בעפר thee in the dust, H6440 מפני for H6343 פחד fear H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1926 ומהדר and for the glory H1347 גאנו׃ of his majesty.

11 H5869 עיני looks H1365 גבהות The lofty H120 אדם of man H8213 שׁפל shall be humbled, H7817 ושׁח shall be bowed down, H7312 רום and the haughtiness H376 אנשׁים of men H7682 ונשׂגב shall be exalted H3068 יהוה and the LORD H905 לבדו alone H3117 ביום day. H1931 ההוא׃ in that

12 H3588 כי For H3117 יום the day H3068 ליהוה of the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts H5921 על upon H3605 כל every H1343 גאה proud H7311 ורם and lofty, H5921 ועל and upon H3605 כל every H5375 נשׂא lifted up; H8213 ושׁפל׃ and he shall be brought low:

13 H5921 ועל And upon H3605 כל all H730 ארזי the cedars H3844 הלבנון of Lebanon, H7311 הרמים high H5375 והנשׂאים and lifted up, H5921 ועל and upon H3605 כל all H437 אלוני the oaks H1316 הבשׁן׃ of Bashan,

14 H5921 ועל And upon H3605 כל all H2022 ההרים mountains, H7311 הרמים the high H5921 ועל and upon H3605 כל all H1389 הגבעות the hills H5375 הנשׂאות׃ lifted up,

15 H5921 ועל And upon H3605 כל every H4026 מגדל tower, H1364 גבה high H5921 ועל and upon H3605 כל every H2346 חומה wall, H1219 בצורה׃ fenced

16 H5921 ועל And upon H3605 כל all H591 אניות the ships H8659 תרשׁישׁ of Tarshish, H5921 ועל and upon H3605 כל all H7914 שׂכיות pictures. H2532 החמדה׃ pleasant

17 H7817 ושׁח shall be bowed down, H1365 גבהות And the loftiness H120 האדם of man H8213 ושׁפל shall be made low: H7312 רום and the haughtiness H376 אנשׁים of men H7682 ונשׂגב shall be exalted H3068 יהוה and the LORD H905 לבדו alone H3117 ביום day. H1931 ההוא׃ in that

18 H457 והאלילים And the idols H3632 כליל he shall utterly H2498 יחלף׃ abolish.

19 H935 ובאו And they shall go H4631 במערות into the holes H6697 צרים of the rocks, H4247 ובמחלות and into the caves H6083 עפר of the earth, H6440 מפני for H6343 פחד fear H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1926 ומהדר and for the glory H1347 גאונו of his majesty, H6965 בקומו when he ariseth H6206 לערץ to shake terribly H776 הארץ׃ the earth.

20 H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא In that H7993 ישׁליך shall cast H120 האדם a man H853 את H457 אלילי his idols H3701 כספו of silver, H853 ואת H457 אלילי and his idols H2091 זהבו of gold, H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂו they made H7812 לו להשׁתחות for himself to worship, H2661 לחפר to the moles H2661 פרות H5847 ולעטלפים׃ and to the bats;

21 H935 לבוא To go H5366 בנקרות into the clefts H6697 הצרים of the rocks, H5585 ובסעפי and into the tops H5553 הסלעים of the ragged rocks, H6440 מפני for H6343 פחד fear H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1926 ומהדר and for the glory H1347 גאונו of his majesty, H6965 בקומו when he ariseth H6206 לערץ to shake terribly H776 הארץ׃ the earth.

22 H2308 חדלו Cease H4480 לכם מן ye from H120 האדם man, H834 אשׁר whose H5397 נשׁמה breath H639 באפו in his nostrils: H3588 כי for H4100 במה wherein H2803 נחשׁב to be accounted H1931 הוא׃ is he
