Isaiah 3 For look, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah supply and support, the whole supply of bread, and the whole supply of water;

VIN⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ For look, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah supply and support, the whole supply of bread, and the whole supply of water; ² Hero and man of war, judge and prophet, And diviner and elder, ³ the captain of fifty, the honorable man, the counselor, the skilled craftsman, and the clever enchanter. ⁴ I will make boys their leaders. Childish tyrants will govern them. ⁵ And the people shall be crushed, man against man, and a man on his neighbor. The boy will be insolent against the elder, and the despised against the honorable. ⁶ A person will grab one of his relatives from his father's family and say: "You have a coat. You will be our leader. This pile of ruins will be under your control." ⁷ Then the relative will cry out: "I am not a healer! I do not have any food or a coat in my home. Do not make me a leader of the people." ⁸ For stumbled bath Jerusalem, and, Judah, hath fallen,—Because, their tongue and their doings, are against the LORD, Provoking his glorious presence, ⁹ The look of their faces testify against them. They parade their sin like Sodom. They do not hide it. Woe to their soul. For they have brought disaster upon themselves. ¹⁰ Say you to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds. ¹¹ Woe to the wicked. Disaster is upon them; for the work of his hands will be done to him. ¹² Children oppress my people! Women rule over them. O My people! Those who guide you lead you astray. They confuse the direction of your paths. ¹³ The LORD stands up to plead, and stands to judge the people. ¹⁴ the LORD enters into judgment with the elders and princes of his people: "It is you who have devoured the vineyard. The plunder of the poor is in your houses. ¹⁵ "What do you mean by crushing my people and grinding the face of the poor?" Declares the LORD Almighty. ¹⁶ Moreover LORD said, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with outstretched necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet, ¹⁷ therefore the Lord brings sores on the crown of the head of the women of Zion, and the LORD will make their scalps bald." ¹⁸ In that day the Lord will take away the finery of the anklets and the headbands and the crescent necklaces, ¹⁹ the earrings, the bracelets, the veils, ²⁰ the headdresses, the ankle chains, the sashes, the perfume bottles, the charms, ²¹ the signet rings, the nose rings, ²² the fine robes, the capes, the cloaks, the purses, ²³ and the mirrors and the linen garments, and the turbans and the wraps. ²⁴ It shall happen that instead of sweet spices, there shall be rottenness; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of well set hair, baldness; instead of a robe, a wearing of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty. ²⁵ Your men shall fall by the sword, and your warriors in battle. ²⁶ and her gates shall lament and mourn; and, stripped, she shall sit upon the ground.
