1 Kings 10:1-29

  1 H4436 ומלכת And when the queen H7614 שׁבא of Sheba H8085 שׁמעת heard H853 את   H8088 שׁמע of the fame H8010 שׁלמה of Solomon H8034 לשׁם concerning the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H935 ותבא she came H5254 לנסתו to prove H2420 בחידות׃ him with hard questions.
  2 H935 ותבא And she came H3389 ירושׁלמה to Jerusalem H2428 בחיל train, H3515 כבד great H3966 מאד with a very H1581 גמלים with camels H5375 נשׂאים that bore H1314 בשׂמים spices, H2091 וזהב gold, H7227 רב much H3966 מאד and very H68 ואבן stones: H3368 יקרה and precious H935 ותבא and when she was come H413 אל to H8010 שׁלמה Solomon, H1696 ותדבר she communed H413 אליו with H853 את   H3605 כל him of all H834 אשׁר that H1961 היה was H5973 עם in H3824 לבבה׃ her heart.
  3 H5046 ויגד told H8010 לה שׁלמה And Solomon H853 את   H3605 כל her all H1697 דבריה her questions: H3808 לא not H1961 היה there was H1697 דבר thing H5956 נעלם hid H4480 מן from H4428 המלך the king, H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא her not. H5046 הגיד׃ he told
  4 H7200 ותרא had seen H4436 מלכת And when the queen H7614 שׁבא of Sheba H853 את   H3605 כל all H2451 חכמת wisdom, H8010 שׁלמה Solomon's H1004 והבית and the house H834 אשׁר that H1129 בנה׃ he had built,
  5 H3978 ומאכל And the meat H7979 שׁלחנו of his table, H4186 ומושׁב and the sitting H5650 עבדיו of his servants, H4612 ומעמד and the attendance H8334 משׁרתו of his ministers, H4403 ומלבשׁיהם and their apparel, H4945 ומשׁקיו and his cupbearers, H5930 ועלתו and his ascent H834 אשׁר by which H5927 יעלה he went up H1004 בית unto the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD; H3808 ולא no H1961 היה there was H5750 בה עוד more H7307 רוח׃ spirit
  6 H559 ותאמר And she said H413 אל to H4428 המלך the king, H571 אמת a true H1961 היה It was H1697 הדבר report H834 אשׁר that H8085 שׁמעתי I heard H776 בארצי in mine own land H5921 על of H1697 דבריך thy acts H5921 ועל and of H2451 חכמתך׃ thy wisdom.
  7 H3808 ולא not H539 האמנתי Howbeit I believed H1697 לדברים the words, H5704 עד until H834 אשׁר until H935 באתי I came, H7200 ותראינה had seen H5869 עיני and mine eyes H2009 והנה and, behold, H3808 לא was not H5046 הגד told H2677 לי החצי the half H3254 הוספת exceedeth H2451 חכמה me: thy wisdom H2896 וטוב and prosperity H413 אל exceedeth H8052 השׁמועה the fame H834 אשׁר which H8085 שׁמעתי׃ I heard.
  8 H835 אשׁרי Happy H376 אנשׁיך thy men, H835 אשׁרי happy H5650 עבדיך thy servants, H428 אלה these H5975 העמדים which stand H6440 לפניך before H8548 תמיד continually H8085 השׁמעים thee, that hear H853 את   H2451 חכמתך׃ thy wisdom.
  9 H1961 יהי be H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H1288 ברוך Blessed H834 אשׁר which H2654 חפץ delighted H5414 בך לתתך in thee, to set H5921 על thee on H3678 כסא the throne H3478 ישׂראל of Israel: H160 באהבת   H3068 יהוה because the LORD H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל Israel H5769 לעלם forever, H7760 וישׂימך therefore made H4428 למלך he thee king, H6213 לעשׂות to do H4941 משׁפט judgment H6666 וצדקה׃ and justice.
  10 H5414 ותתן And she gave H4428 למלך the king H3967 מאה a hundred H6242 ועשׂרים and twenty H3603 ככר talents H2091 זהב of gold, H1314 ובשׂמים and of spices H7235 הרבה great store, H3966 מאד very H68 ואבן stones: H3368 יקרה and precious H3808 לא no H935 בא there came H1314 כבשׂם of spices H1931 ההוא such H5750 עוד more H7230 לרב abundance H834 אשׁר as these which H5414 נתנה gave H4436 מלכת the queen H7614 שׁבא of Sheba H4428 למלך to king H8010 שׁלמה׃ Solomon.
  11 H1571 וגם also H590 אני And the navy H2438 חירם of Hiram, H834 אשׁר that H5375 נשׂא brought H2091 זהב gold H211 מאופיר   H935 הביא brought in H211 מאפיר   H6086 עצי trees, H484 אלמגים of almug H7235 הרבה plenty H3966 מאד great H68 ואבן stones. H3368 יקרה׃ and precious
  12 H6213 ויעשׂ made H4428 המלך And the king H853 את   H6086 עצי trees H484 האלמגים of the almug H4552 מסעד pillars H1004 לבית for the house H3069 יהוה   H1004 ולבית house, H4428 המלך and for the king's H3658 וכנרות harps H5035 ונבלים also and psalteries H7891 לשׁרים for singers: H3808 לא no H935 בא there came H3651 כן such H6086 עצי trees, H484 אלמגים almug H3808 ולא nor H7200 נראה were seen H5704 עד unto H3117 היום day. H2088 הזה׃ this
  13 H4428 והמלך And king H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H5414 נתן gave H4436 למלכת unto the queen H7614 שׁבא of Sheba H853 את   H3605 כל all H2656 חפצה her desire, H834 אשׁר whatsoever H7592 שׁאלה she asked, H905 מלבד beside H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן gave H3027 לה כיד her of his royal bounty. H4428 המלך her of his royal bounty. H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H6437 ותפן So she turned H1980 ותלך and went H776 לארצה to her own country, H1931 היא she H5650 ועבדיה׃ and her servants.
  14 H1961 ויהי was H4948 משׁקל Now the weight H2091 הזהב of gold H834 אשׁר that H935 בא came H8010 לשׁלמה to Solomon H8141 בשׁנה year H259 אחת in one H8337 שׁשׁ six H3967 מאות hundred H8346 שׁשׁים threescore H8337 ושׁשׁ and six H3603 ככר talents H2091 זהב׃ of gold,
  15 H905 לבד Beside H376 מאנשׁי   H8446 התרים   H4536 ומסחר and of the traffic H7402 הרכלים of the spice merchants, H3605 וכל and of all H4428 מלכי the kings H6152 הערב   H6346 ופחות and of the governors H776 הארץ׃ of the country.
  16 H6213 ויעשׂ made H4428 המלך And king H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H3967 מאתים two hundred H6793 צנה targets H2091 זהב gold: H7820 שׁחוט beaten H8337 שׁשׁ six H3967 מאות hundred H2091 זהב of gold H5927 יעלה went H5921 על to H6793 הצנה target. H259 האחת׃ one
  17 H7969 ושׁלשׁ And three H3967 מאות hundred H4043 מגנים shields H2091 זהב gold; H7820 שׁחוט beaten H7969 שׁלשׁת three H4488 מנים pound H2091 זהב of gold H5927 יעלה went H5921 על to H4043 המגן shield: H259 האחת one H5414 ויתנם put H4428 המלך and the king H1004 בית them in the house H3293 יער of the forest H3844 הלבנון׃ of Lebanon.
  18 H6213 ויעשׂ made H4428 המלך Moreover the king H3678 כסא throne H8127 שׁן of ivory, H1419 גדול a great H6823 ויצפהו and overlaid H2091 זהב gold. H6338 מופז׃ it with the best
  19 H8337 שׁשׁ had six H4609 מעלות steps, H3678 לכסה The throne H7218 וראשׁ and the top H5696 עגל round H3678 לכסה of the throne H310 מאחריו behind: H3027 וידת and stays H2088 מזה   H2088 ומזה   H413 אל on H4725 מקום the place H7675 השׁבת of the seat, H8147 ושׁנים and two H738 אריות lions H5975 עמדים stood H681 אצל beside H3027 הידות׃ the stays.
  20 H8147 ושׁנים   H6240 עשׂר   H738 אריים lions H5975 עמדים stood H8033 שׁם there H5921 על on H8337 שׁשׁ upon the six H4609 המעלות steps: H2088 מזה the one side H2088 ומזה and on the other H3808 לא there was not H6213 נעשׂה made H3651 כן the like H3605 לכל in any H4467 ממלכות׃ kingdom.
  21 H3605 וכל And all H3627 כלי vessels H4945 משׁקה drinking H4428 המלך king H8010 שׁלמה Solomon's H2091 זהב gold, H3605 וכל and all H3627 כלי the vessels H1004 בית of the house H3293 יער of the forest H3844 הלבנון of Lebanon H2091 זהב gold; H5462 סגור pure H369 אין none H3701 כסף silver: H3808 לא it was nothing H2803 נחשׁב accounted H3117 בימי of in the days H8010 שׁלמה of Solomon. H3972 למאומה׃ it was nothing
  22 H3588 כי For H590 אני a navy H8659 תרשׁישׁ of Tharshish H4428 למלך the king H3220 בים had at sea H5973 עם with H590 אני the navy H2438 חירם of Hiram: H259 אחת once H7969 לשׁלשׁ in three H8141 שׁנים years H935 תבוא came H590 אני the navy H8659 תרשׁישׁ of Tharshish, H5375 נשׂאת bringing H2091 זהב gold, H3701 וכסף and silver, H8143 שׁנהבים ivory, H6971 וקפים and apes, H8500 ותכיים׃ and peacocks.
  23 H1431 ויגדל exceeded all H4428 המלך So king H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H3605 מכל   H4428 מלכי the kings H776 הארץ of the earth H6239 לעשׁר for riches H2451 ולחכמה׃ and for wisdom.
  24 H3605 וכל And all H776 הארץ the earth H1245 מבקשׁים sought H853 את   H6440 פני to H8010 שׁלמה Solomon, H8085 לשׁמע to hear H853 את   H2451 חכמתו his wisdom, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן had put H430 אלהים God H3820 בלבו׃ in his heart.
  25 H1992 והמה And they H935 מבאים brought H376 אישׁ every man H4503 מנחתו his present, H3627 כלי vessels H3701 כסף of silver, H3627 וכלי and vessels H2091 זהב of gold, H8008 ושׂלמות and garments, H5402 ונשׁק and armor, H1314 ובשׂמים and spices, H5483 סוסים horses, H6505 ופרדים and mules, H1697 דבר a rate H8141 שׁנה year H8141 בשׁנה׃ by year.
  26 H622 ויאסף gathered together H8010 שׁלמה And Solomon H7393 רכב chariots H6571 ופרשׁים and horsemen: H1961 ויהי and he had H505 לו אלף a thousand H702 וארבע and four H3967 מאות hundred H7393 רכב chariots, H8147 ושׁנים and twelve H6240 עשׂר and twelve H505 אלף thousand H6571 פרשׁים horsemen, H5148 וינחם whom he bestowed H5892 בערי in the cities H7393 הרכב for chariots, H5973 ועם and with H4428 המלך the king H3389 בירושׁלם׃ at Jerusalem.
  27 H5414 ויתן made H4428 המלך And the king H853 את   H3701 הכסף silver H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem H68 כאבנים as stones, H853 ואת   H730 הארזים and cedars H5414 נתן made H8256 כשׁקמים he as the sycamore trees H834 אשׁר that H8219 בשׁפלה in the vale, H7230 לרב׃ for abundance.
  28 H4161 ומוצא brought H5483 הסוסים had horses H834 אשׁר   H8010 לשׁלמה And Solomon H4714 ממצרים   H4723 ומקוה and linen yarn: H5503 סחרי merchants H4428 המלך the king's H3947 יקחו received H4723 מקוה the linen yarn H4242 במחיר׃ at a price.
  29 H5927 ותעלה came up H3318 ותצא and went out H4818 מרכבה And a chariot H4714 ממצרים   H8337 בשׁשׁ for six H3967 מאות hundred H3701 כסף of silver, H5483 וסוס and a horse H2572 בחמשׁים and fifty: H3967 ומאה for a hundred H3651 וכן and so H3605 לכל for all H4428 מלכי the kings H2850 החתים of the Hittites, H4428 ולמלכי and for the kings H758 ארם of Syria, H3027 בידם by their means. H3318 יצאו׃ did they bring out
