Genesis 19:1-29 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

1 H935 And there came H8147 two H4397 angels H5467 to Sodom H6153 at even; H3876 and Lot H3427 sat H8179 in the gate H5467 of Sodom: H3876 and Lot H7200 seeing H6965 them rose H7125 up to meet H7812 them; and he bowed H639 himself with his face H776 toward the ground;

2 H559 And he said, H2009 Behold H4994 now, H113 my lords, H5493 turn H4994 in, I pray H413 you, into H5650 your servant’s H1004 house, H3885 and tarry H3885 all H7364 night, and wash H7272 your feet, H7925 and you shall rise H7925 up early, H1980 and go H1870 on your ways. H559 And they said, H3808 No; H3885 but we will abide H7339 in the street H3885 all night.

3 H6484 And he pressed H3966 on them greatly; H5493 and they turned H935 in to him, and entered H413 into H1004 his house; H6213 and he made H4960 them a feast, H644 and did bake H4682 unleavened H398 bread, and they did eat.

4 H2962 But before H7901 they lay H582 down, the men H5892 of the city, H582 even the men H5467 of Sodom, H5437 compassed H1004 the house H5921 round, H2205 both old H5288 and young, H3605 all H5971 the people H7098 from every quarter:

5 H7121 And they called H3876 to Lot, H559 and said H346 to him, Where H582 are the men H834 which H935 came H3915 in to you this night? H3318 bring H3045 them out to us, that we may know them.

6 H3876 And Lot H3318 went H6607 out at the door H5462 to them, and shut H1817 the door H310 after him,

7 H559 And said, H4994 I pray H251 you, brothers, H7489 do not so wickedly.

8 H2009 Behold H4994 now, H8147 I have two H1323 daughters H834 which H3045 have not known H376 man; H4994 let me, I pray H3318 you, bring H6213 them out to you, and do H2896 you to them as is good H5869 in your eyes: H7535 only H428 to these H582 men H6213 do H3808 nothing; H1697 H5921 for therefore H3651 H935 came H6738 they under the shadow H6982 of my roof.

9 H559 And they said, H5066 Stand H1973 back. H559 And they said H259 again, This one H935 fellow came H1481 in to sojourn, H8199 and he will needs H8199 be a judge: H6258 now H7489 will we deal worse H6484 with you, than with them. And they pressed H3966 sore H376 on the man, H3876 even Lot, H5066 and came H5066 near H7665 to break H1817 the door.

10 H582 But the men H7971 put H7971 forth H3027 their hand, H935 and pulled H3876 Lot H1004 into the house H5462 to them, and shut H1817 to the door.

11 H5221 And they smote H582 the men H6607 that were at the door H1004 of the house H5575 with blindness, H6996 both small H1419 and great: H3811 so that they wearied H4672 themselves to find H6607 the door.

12 H582 And the men H559 said H3876 to Lot, H6311 Have you here H4310 any H5750 besides? H1121 son H2859 in law, H1121 and your sons, H1323 and your daughters, H3605 and whatever H834 H5892 you have in the city, H3318 bring H4725 them out of this place:

13 H7843 For we will destroy H2088 this H4725 place, H3588 because H6818 the cry H1431 of them is waxen great H854 before H6440 the face H3068 of the LORD; H3068 and the LORD H7971 has sent H7843 us to destroy it.

14 H3876 And Lot H3318 went H1696 out, and spoke H2860 to his sons H2859 in law, H3947 which married H1323 his daughters, H559 and said, H3318 Up, get H2088 you out of this H4725 place; H3068 for the LORD H7843 will destroy H5892 this city. H1961 But he seemed H5869 H6711 as one that mocked H2860 to his sons H2859 in law.

15 H3644 And when H7837 the morning H5927 arose, H4397 then the angels H213 hastened H3876 Lot, H559 saying, H6965 Arise, H3947 take H802 your wife, H8147 and your two H1323 daughters, H4672 which are here; H6435 lest H5595 you be consumed H5771 in the iniquity H5892 of the city.

16 H4102 And while he lingered, H582 the men H2388 laid hold H3027 on his hand, H3027 and on the hand H802 of his wife, H3027 and on the hand H8147 of his two H1323 daughters; H3068 the LORD H2551 being merciful H3318 to him: and they brought H3318 him forth, H3240 and set H2351 him without H5892 the city.

17 H1961 And it came H3318 to pass, when they had brought H3318 them forth H2351 abroad, H559 that he said, H4422 Escape H5315 for your life; H5027 look H310 not behind H408 you, neither H5975 stay H3605 you in all H3603 the plain; H4422 escape H2022 to the mountain, H6435 lest H5595 you be consumed.

18 H3876 And Lot H559 said H4994 to them, Oh, H113 not so, my LORD:

19 H2009 Behold H4994 now, H5650 your servant H4672 has found H2580 grace H5869 in your sight, H1431 and you have magnified H2617 your mercy, H834 which H6213 you have showed H2421 to me in saving H5315 my life; H3808 and I cannot H3201 H4422 escape H2022 to the mountain, H6435 lest H7451 some evil H1692 take H4191 me, and I die:

20 H2009 Behold H4994 now, H2063 this H5892 city H7138 is near H5127 to flee H4705 to, and it is a little H4994 one: Oh, H4422 let me escape H8033 thither, H4705 (is it not a little H5315 one?) and my soul H2421 shall live.

21 H559 And he said H2009 to him, See, H5375 I have accepted H2088 you concerning this H1697 thing H1571 also, H2015 that I will not overthrow H5892 this city, H834 for the which H1696 you have spoken.

22 H4116 Haste H4422 you, escape H8033 thither; H3808 for I cannot H3201 H6213 do H1697 anything H5704 till H935 you be come H8033 thither. H5921 Therefore H3651 H8034 the name H5892 of the city H7121 was called H6820 Zoar.

23 H8121 The sun H3318 was risen H776 on the earth H3876 when Lot H935 entered H6820 into Zoar.

24 H3068 Then the LORD H4305 rained H5467 on Sodom H6017 and on Gomorrah H1614 brimstone H784 and fire H3068 from the LORD H8064 out of heaven;

25 H2015 And he overthrew H411 those H5892 cities, H3605 and all H3603 the plain, H3605 and all H3427 the inhabitants H5892 of the cities, H6780 and that which grew H127 on the ground.

26 H802 But his wife H5027 looked H310 back from behind H1961 him, and she became H5333 a pillar H4417 of salt.

27 H85 And Abraham H7925 got up early H1242 in the morning H4725 to the place H834 where H5975 he stood H854 before H6440 H3068 the LORD:

28 H8259 And he looked H5921 toward H6440 H5467 Sodom H6017 and Gomorrah, H5921 and toward H6440 H3605 all H776 the land H3603 of the plain, H7200 and beheld, H2009 and, see, H7008 the smoke H776 of the country H5927 went H7008 up as the smoke H3536 of a furnace.

29 H1961 And it came H430 to pass, when God H7843 destroyed H5892 the cities H3603 of the plain, H430 that God H2142 remembered H85 Abraham, H7971 and sent H3876 Lot H8432 out of the middle H2018 of the overthrow, H2015 when he overthrew H5892 the cities H834 in the which H2004 H3876 Lot H3427 dwelled.
