Deuteronomy 12 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the soil.

1 H2706 These are the statutes H4941 and judgments, H8104 [H8799] which ye shall observe H6213 [H8800] to do H776 in the land, H3068 which the LORD H430 God H1 of thy fathers H5414 [H8804] giveth H3423 [H8800] thee to possess H3117 it, all the days H2416 that ye live H127 upon the soil.

2 H6 [H8763] Ye shall utterly H6 [H8762] cause to perish H4725 all the places, H1471 in which the nations H834 which H3423 [H8802] ye shall possess H5647 [H8804] served H430 their gods, H7311 [H8802] upon the high H2022 mountains, H1389 and upon the hills, H7488 and under every green H6086 tree:

3 H5422 [H8765] And ye shall overthrow H4196 their altars, H7665 [H8765] and break H4676 their pillars, H8313 [H8799] and burn H842 their groves H784 with fire; H1438 [H8762] and ye shall hew down H6456 the graven images H430 of their gods, H6 [H8765] and destroy H8034 the names H4725 of them out of that place.

4 H6213 [H8799] Ye shall not do so H3068 to the LORD H430 your God.

5 H4725 But the place H3068 which the LORD H430 your God H977 [H8799] shall choose H7626 out of all your tribes H7760 [H8800] to put H8034 his name H7933 there, even his habitation H1875 [H8799] shall ye seek, H935 [H8804] and there thou shalt come:

6 H935 [H8689] And there ye shall bring H5930 your burnt offerings, H2077 and your sacrifices, H4643 and your tithes, H8641 and heave offerings H3027 of your hand, H5088 and your vows, H5071 and your freewill offerings, H1062 and the firstlings H1241 of your herds H6629 and of your flocks:

7 H398 [H8804] And there ye shall eat H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD H430 your God, H8055 [H8804] and ye shall rejoice H4916 in all that ye put H3027 your hand H1004 to, ye and your households, H3068 in which the LORD H430 thy God H1288 [H8765] hath blessed thee.

8 H6213 [H8799] Ye shall not do H6213 [H8802] after all the things that we do H3117 here this day, H376 every man H3477 whatever is right H5869 in his own eyes.

9 H935 [H8804] For ye are not as yet come H4496 to the rest H5159 and to the inheritance, H3068 which the LORD H430 your God H5414 [H8802] giveth you.

10 H5674 [H8804] But when ye go over H3383 Jordan, H3427 [H8804] and dwell H776 in the land H3068 which the LORD H430 your God H5157 [H8688] giveth you to inherit, H5117 [H8689] and when he giveth you rest H341 [H8802] from all your enemies H5439 on every side, H3427 [H8804] so that ye dwell H983 in safety;

11 H4725 Then there shall be a place H3068 which the LORD H430 your God H977 [H8799] shall choose H8034 to cause his name H7931 [H8763] to dwell H935 [H8686] there; there shall ye bring H6680 [H8764] all that I command H5930 you; your burnt offerings, H2077 and your sacrifices, H4643 your tithes, H8641 and the heave offering H3027 of your hand, H4005 and all your choice H5088 vows H5087 [H8799] which ye vow H3068 to the LORD:

12 H8055 [H8804] And ye shall rejoice H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD H430 your God, H1121 ye, and your sons, H1323 and your daughters, H5650 and your male H519 and female servants, H3881 and the Levite H8179 that is within your gates; H3588 forasmuch H2506 as he hath no part H5159 nor inheritance with you.

13 H8104 [H8734] Take heed H5927 [H8686] to thyself that thou offer H5930 not thy burnt offerings H4725 in every place H7200 [H8799] that thou seest:

14 H4725 But in the place H3068 which the LORD H977 [H8799] shall choose H259 in one H7626 of thy tribes, H5927 [H8686] there thou shalt offer H5930 thy burnt offerings, H6213 [H8799] and there thou shalt do H6680 [H8764] all that I command thee.

15 H2076 [H8799] However thou mayest kill H398 [H8804] and eat H1320 flesh H8179 in all thy gates, H5315 whatever thy breath H185 desireth, H1293 according to the blessing H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God H5414 [H8804] which he hath given H2931 thee: the unclean H2889 and the clean H398 [H8799] may eat H6643 of it, as of the roebuck, H354 and as of the hart.

16 H398 [H8799] Only ye shall not eat H1818 the blood; H8210 [H8799] ye shall pour H776 it upon the earth H4325 as water.

17 H3201 [H8799] Thou mayest H398 [H8800] not eat H8179 within thy gates H4643 the tithe H1715 of thy grain, H8492 or of thy wine, H3323 or of thy oil, H1062 or the firstlings H1241 of thy herds H6629 or of thy flock, H5088 nor any of thy vows H5087 [H8799] which thou vowest, H5071 nor thy freewill offerings, H8641 or heave offering H3027 of thine hand:

18 H398 [H8799] But thou must eat H6440 them at the face of H3068 the LORD H430 thy God H4725 in the place H3068 which the LORD H430 thy God H977 [H8799] shall choose, H1121 thou, and thy son, H1323 and thy daughter, H5650 and thy male servant, H519 and thy female servant, H3881 and the Levite H8179 that is within thy gates: H8055 [H8804] and thou shalt rejoice H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD H430 thy God H4916 in all that thou puttest H3027 thine hands to.

19 H8104 [H8734] Take heed H5800 [H8799] to thyself that thou forsake H3881 not the Levite H3117 as long as thou livest H127 upon the soil.

20 H3068 When the LORD H430 thy God H7337 [H8686] shall enlarge H1366 thy border, H1696 [H8765] as he hath promised H559 [H8804] thee, and thou shalt say, H398 [H8799] I will eat H1320 flesh, H5315 because thy breath H183 [H8762] longeth H398 [H8800] to eat H1320 flesh; H398 [H8799] thou mayest eat H1320 flesh, H5315 whatever thy breath H185 desireth.

21 H4725 If the place H3068 which the LORD H430 thy God H977 [H8799] hath chosen H7760 [H8800] to put H8034 his name H7368 [H8799] there shall be too far H2076 [H8804] from thee, then thou shalt kill H1241 of thy herd H6629 and of thy flock, H3068 which the LORD H5414 [H8804] hath given H6680 [H8765] thee, as I have commanded H398 [H8804] thee, and thou shalt eat H8179 in thy gates H5315 whatever thy breath H185 desireth.

22 H6643 Even as the roebuck H354 and the hart H398 [H8735] is eaten, H398 [H8799] so thou shalt eat H2931 them: the unclean H2889 and the clean H398 [H8799] shall eat H3162 of them alike.

23 H2388 [H8798] Only be sure H398 [H8800] that thou eat H1818 not the blood: H1818 for the blood H5315 is the life; H398 [H8799] and thou mayest not eat H5315 the life H1320 with the flesh.

24 H398 [H8799] Thou shalt not eat H8210 [H8799] it; thou shalt pour H776 it upon the earth H4325 as water.

25 H398 [H8799] Thou shalt not eat H3190 [H8799] it; that it may be well H1121 with thee, and with thy sons H310 after H6213 [H8799] thee, when thou shalt do H3477 that which is right H5869 in the eyes H3068 of the LORD.

26 H6944 Only thy holy things H5088 which thou hast, and thy vows, H5375 [H8799] thou shalt take, H935 [H8804] and go H4725 to the place H3068 which the LORD H977 [H8799] shall choose:

27 H6213 [H8804] And thou shalt offer H5930 thy burnt offerings, H1320 the flesh H1818 and the blood, H4196 upon the altar H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God: H1818 and the blood H2077 of thy sacrifices H8210 [H8735] shall be poured out H4196 upon the altar H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God, H398 [H8799] and thou shalt eat H1320 the flesh.

28 H8104 [H8798] Observe H8085 [H8804] and hear H1697 all these words H6680 [H8764] which I command H3190 [H8799] thee, that it may be well H1121 with thee, and with thy sons H310 after H5704 thee for H5769 ever, H6213 [H8799] when thou doest H2896 that which is good H3477 and right H5869 in the eyes H3068 of the LORD H430 thy God.

29 H3068 When the LORD H430 thy God H3772 [H8686] shall cut off H1471 the nations H6440 from the face of H935 [H8802] thee, where thou goest H3423 [H8800] to possess H3423 [H8804] them, and thou succeedest H3427 [H8804] them, and dwellest H776 in their land;

30 H8104 [H8734] Take heed H5367 [H8735] to thyself that thou be not snared H310 by following H310 them, after H8045 [H8736] that they are desolated H6440 from the face of H1875 [H8799] thee; and that thou enquire H430 not after their gods, H559 [H8800] saying, H1471 How did these nations H5647 [H8799] serve H430 their gods? H6213 [H8799] even so will I do H1571 likewise.

31 H6213 [H8799] Thou shalt not do H3068 so to the LORD H430 thy God: H8441 for every abomination H3068 to the LORD, H8130 [H8804] which he hateth, H6213 [H8804] have they done H430 to their gods; H1121 for even their sons H1323 and their daughters H8313 [H8799] they have burnt H784 in the fire H430 to their gods.

32 H1697 Whatever thing H6680 [H8764] I command H8104 [H8799] you, observe H6213 [H8800] to do H3254 [H8686] it: thou shalt not add H1639 [H8799] to it, nor diminish from it.
