THE TORAH ON POSSESSING THE LAND These are the statutes and judgments to guard to work in the land, Yah Veh Elohim of your fathers gives you to possess all the days you live on the soil. 2 In destroying, destroy all the places, wherein the goyim you possess serve their elohim - on the exalted mountains and on the hills and under every green tree: 3 and pull down their sacrifice altars and break their monoliths and burn their asherim with fire; and cut down the sculptiles of their elohim and destroy their names from that place. 4 But work not thus to Yah Veh your Elohim. 5 But to the place Yah Veh your Elohim chooses of all your scions to put his name there, seek and enter his tabernacle: 6 and bring your holocausts and your sacrifices and your tithes and exaltments of your hand and your vows and your voluntaries and the firstlings of your oxen and of your flocks: 7 and there at the face of Yah Veh your Elohim eat and cheer in every spreading of your hand - you and your households, wherein Yah Veh your Elohim blessed you. 8 Work not after all those we work here this day, every man whatever is straight in his own eyes: 9 for you come not yet to the rest and to the inheritance, Yah Veh your Elohim gives you: 10 and pass over Yarden and settle in the land Yah Veh your Elohim has you inherit and he gives you rest from all your enemies all around you, so that you settle confidently; 11 and so be it, the place Yah Veh your Elohim chooses to tabernacle his name, bring all I misvah you - your holocausts and your sacrifices your tithes and the exaltment of your hand and all your choice vows you vowed to Yah Veh: 12 and cheer at the face of Yah Veh your Elohim - you and your sons and your daughters and your servants and your maids and the Leviy within your portals; for which cause he has neither allotment nor inheritance with you. 13 Guard yourself that you not holocaust your holocausts in every place you see: 14 but in the place Yah Veh chooses in one of your scions, there you holocaust your holocausts and there you work all I misvah you. 15 Only, sacrifice and eat flesh in all your portals, - whatever your soul desires according to the blessing Yah Veh your Elohim gives you: the foul and the pure eat thereof, as of the gazelle and as of the hart. 16 Only, eat not the blood; pour it on the earth as water. 17 Eat not within your portals, the tithe of your crop or of your juice or of your oil or the firstlings of your oxen or of your flock; or any of the vows you vowed, or your voluntaries or exaltment of your hand: 18 but eat them at the face of Yah Veh your Elohim in the place Yah Veh your Elohim chooses - you and your son and your daughter and your servant and your maid and the Leviy within your portals: and cheer at the face of Yah Veh your Elohim in all you spread your hands to. 19 Guard to not forsake the Leviy all your days on the soil. 20 When Yah Veh your Elohim widens your border as he worded to you, and you say, I eat flesh, because your soul desires to eat flesh; eat flesh - whatever your soul desires! 21 When the place Yah Veh your Elohim chooses to put his name is too far removed from you, then sacrifice of your oxen and of your flock Yah Veh gives you, as I misvahed you, eat whatever your soul desires within your portals: 22 only, as you eat the gazelle and the hart, thus eat them - the foul and the pure - eat them together. 23 Only, prevail that you not eat the blood: for the blood is the soul; and eat not the soul with the flesh. 24 Eat not! Work I thus likewise? 31 Work not thus to Yah Veh your Elohim: for every abhorrence Yah Veh hates, they worked to their elohim; even burning their sons and their daughters in the fire to their elohim. 32 Whatever word I misvah you, guard to work it: neither add thereto, nor diminish therefrom.
