12 G2532 And G2036 Ahaz said, G* G3766.2 In no way G154 shall I ask, G3762.1 nor G3985 shall I test G2962 the lord .

13 G2532 And G2036 he said, G191 Hear G1211 indeed, G3624 O house G* of David! G3361 Is it G3397 a small thing G1473 to you G73 [²a struggle G3930 ¹to furnish] G444 to men, G2532 then G4459 how G2962 [³ to the lord G3930 ¹do you furnish G73 ²a struggle]?

Lithuanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁰ Viešpats toliau kalbėjo Achazui: ¹¹ “Prašyk Viešpatį, savo Dievą, ženklo iš požemio gilybių ar dangaus aukštybių”. ¹² Achazas atsakė: “Aš neprašysiu ir negundysiu Viešpaties”. ¹³ Tuomet Izaijas sakė: “Klausykitės, Dovydo namai, ar jums neužtenka varginti žmonių, ar varginsite ir Dievą? ¹⁴ Pats Viešpats duos jums ženklą. Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁰ І Господь далі говорив до Ахаза й казав: ¹¹ Зажадай собі знака від Господа, Бога твого, і зійди глибоко до шеолу, або зійди високо догори! ¹² А Ахаз відказав: Не пожадаю я, і не буду спокушувати Господа. ¹³ І він сказав: Послухайте, доме Давидів, чи мало вам трудити людей, що трудите також Бога мого? ¹⁴ Видадуть пах мандрагори, при наших же входах всілякі коштовні плоди, нові та старі, що я їх заховала для тебе, коханий ти мій! Тому Господь Сам дасть вам знака: Ось Діва в утробі зачне, і Сина породить, і назвеш ім'я Йому: Еммануїл. ¹⁵ Масло та мед буде Він споживати, аж поки не пізнає того, як зло відкидати та добро вибирати. ¹⁶ Бо поки пізнає Та Дитина, як зло відкидати та добро вибирати, буде покинена та земля, що ти лякаєшся перед двома царями її.
