2 Chronicles 33:1-19 בן old שׁתים twelve עשׂרה twelve שׁנה years מנשׁה Manasseh במלכו when he began to reign, וחמשׁים fifty וחמשׁ and five שׁנה years מלך and he reigned בירושׁלם׃ in Jerusalem:

1 H1121 בן old H8147 שׁתים twelve H6240 עשׂרה twelve H8141 שׁנה years H4519 מנשׁה Manasseh H4427 במלכו when he began to reign, H2572 וחמשׁים fifty H2568 וחמשׁ and five H8141 שׁנה years H4427 מלך and he reigned H3389 בירושׁלם׃ in Jerusalem:

2 H6213 ויעשׂ But did H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H8441 כתועבות like unto the abominations H1471 הגוים of the heathen, H834 אשׁר whom H3423 הורישׁ had cast out H3068 יהוה the LORD H6440 מפני before H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

3 H7725 וישׁב again H1129 ויבן For he built H853 את H1116 הבמות the high places H834 אשׁר which H5422 נתץ had broken down, H2396 יחזקיהו H1 אביו his father H6965 ויקם and he reared up H4196 מזבחות altars H1168 לבעלים for Baalim, H6213 ויעשׂ and made H842 אשׁרות groves, H7812 וישׁתחו and worshiped H3605 לכל all H6635 צבא the host H8064 השׁמים of heaven, H5647 ויעבד and served H853 אתם׃

4 H1129 ובנה Also he built H4196 מזבחות altars H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר whereof H559 אמר had said, H3068 יהוה the LORD H3389 בירושׁלם In Jerusalem H1961 יהיה be H8034 שׁמי shall my name H5769 לעולם׃ forever.

5 H1129 ויבן And he built H4196 מזבחות altars H3605 לכל for all H6635 צבא the host H8064 השׁמים of heaven H8147 בשׁתי in the two H2691 חצרות courts H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

6 H1931 והוא And he H5674 העביר to pass H853 את H1121 בניו caused his children H784 באשׁ through the fire H1516 בגי in the valley H1121 בן of the son H2011 הנם of Hinnom: H6049 ועונן also he observed times, H5172 ונחשׁ and used enchantments, H3784 וכשׁף and used witchcraft, H6213 ועשׂה and dealt with H178 אוב a familiar spirit, H3049 וידעוני and with wizards: H7235 הרבה much H6213 לעשׂות he wrought H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3707 להכעיסו׃ to provoke him to anger.

7 H7760 וישׂם And he set H853 את H6459 פסל a carved image, H5566 הסמל the idol H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה he had made, H1004 בבית in the house H430 האלהים of God, H834 אשׁר of which H559 אמר had said H430 אלהים God H413 אל to H1732 דויד David H413 ואל and to H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H1121 בנו his son, H1004 בבית house, H2088 הזה In this H3389 ובירושׁלם and in Jerusalem, H834 אשׁר which H970 בחרתי H3605 מכל before all H7626 שׁבטי the tribes H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7760 אשׂים will I put H853 את H8034 שׁמי my name H5865 לעילום׃ forever:

8 H3808 ולא Neither H3254 אוסיף will I any more H5493 להסיר remove H853 את H7272 רגל the foot H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5921 מעל from out of H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר which H5975 העמדתי I have appointed H1 לאבתיכם for your fathers; H7535 רק so that H518 אם so that H8104 ישׁמרו they will take heed H6213 לעשׂות to do H853 את H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6680 צויתים I have commanded H3605 לכל them, according to the whole H8451 התורה law H2706 והחקים and the statutes H4941 והמשׁפטים and the ordinances H3027 ביד by the hand H4872 משׁה׃ of Moses.

9 H8582 ויתע to err, H4519 מנשׁה So Manasseh H853 את H3063 יהודה made Judah H3427 וישׁבי and the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem H6213 לעשׂות to do H7451 רע worse H4480 מן than H1471 הגוים the heathen, H834 אשׁר whom H8045 השׁמיד had destroyed H3068 יהוה the LORD H6440 מפני before H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

10 H1696 וידבר spoke H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל to H4519 מנשׁה Manasseh, H413 ואל and to H5971 עמו his people: H3808 ולא but they would not H7181 הקשׁיבו׃ hearken.

11 H935 ויבא brought H3068 יהוה Wherefore the LORD H5921 עליהם upon H853 את H8269 שׂרי them the captains H6635 הצבא of the host of H834 אשׁר which H4428 למלך the king H804 אשׁור of Assyria, H3920 וילכדו took H853 את H4519 מנשׁה Manasseh H2336 בחחים among the thorns, H631 ויאסרהו and bound H5178 בנחשׁתים him with fetters, H1980 ויוליכהו and carried H894 בבלה׃ him to Babylon.

12 H6887 וכהצר And when he was in affliction, H2470 לו חלה he besought H853 את H6440 פני before H3068 יהוה H430 אלהיו his God, H3665 ויכנע and humbled himself H3966 מאד greatly H6440 מלפני H430 אלהי the God H1 אבתיו׃ of his fathers,

13 H6419 ויתפלל And prayed H413 אליו unto H6279 ויעתר him: and he was entreated H8085 לו וישׁמע of him, and heard H8467 תחנתו his supplication, H7725 וישׁיבהו and brought him again H3389 ירושׁלם to Jerusalem H4438 למלכותו into his kingdom. H3045 וידע knew H4519 מנשׁה Then Manasseh H3588 כי that H3068 יהוה the LORD H1931 הוא he H430 האלהים׃ God.

14 H310 ואחרי Now after H3651 כן this H1129 בנה he built H2346 חומה a wall H2435 חיצונה without H5892 לעיר the city H1732 דויד of David, H4628 מערבה on the west side H1521 לגיחון of Gihon, H5158 בנחל in the valley, H935 ולבוא even to the entering in H8179 בשׁער gate H1709 הדגים at the fish H5437 וסבב and compassed about H6077 לעפל Ophel, H1361 ויגביהה and raised it up a very great height, H3966 מאד and raised it up a very great height, H7760 וישׂם and put H8269 שׂרי captains H2428 חיל of war H3605 בכל in all H5892 הערים cities H1219 הבצרות the fenced H3063 ביהודה׃ of Judah.

15 H5493 ויסר And he took away H853 את H430 אלהי gods, H5236 הנכר the strange H853 ואת H5566 הסמל and the idol H1004 מבית out of the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3605 וכל and all H4196 המזבחות the altars H834 אשׁר that H1129 בנה he had built H2022 בהר in the mount H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3389 ובירושׁלם and in Jerusalem, H7993 וישׁלך and cast H2351 חוצה out of H5892 לעיר׃ the city.

16 H3559 ויכן H853 את H4196 מזבח the altar H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H2076 ויזבח and sacrificed H5921 עליו thereon H2077 זבחי offerings H8002 שׁלמים peace H8426 ותודה and thank offerings, H559 ויאמר and commanded H3063 ליהודה Judah H5647 לעבוד to serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

17 H61 אבל Nevertheless H5750 עוד still H5971 העם the people H2076 זבחים did sacrifice H1116 בבמות in the high places, H7535 רק only. H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיהם׃ their God

18 H3499 ויתר Now the rest H1697 דברי of the acts of H4519 מנשׁה Manasseh, H8605 ותפלתו and his prayer H413 אל unto H430 אלהיו his God, H1697 ודברי and the words H2374 החזים of the seers H1696 המדברים that spoke H413 אליו to H8034 בשׁם him in the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H2005 הנם H5921 על they in H1697 דברי the book H4428 מלכי of the kings H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

19 H8605 ותפלתו His prayer H6279 והעתר also, and was entreated H3605 לו וכל of him, and all H2403 חטאתו his sin, H4604 ומעלו and his trespass, H4725 והמקמות and the places H834 אשׁר wherein H1129 בנה he built H1116 בהם במות high places, H5975 והעמיד and set up H842 האשׁרים groves H6456 והפסלים and graven images, H6440 לפני before H3665 הכנעו he was humbled: H2005 הנם H3789 כתובים they written H5921 על among H1697 דברי the sayings H2335 חוזי׃ of the seers.
