2 Kings 21:1-18 בן old שׁתים twelve עשׂרה twelve שׁנה years מנשׁה Manasseh במלכו when he began to reign, וחמשׁים fifty וחמשׁ and five שׁנה years מלך and reigned בירושׁלם in Jerusalem. ושׁם name אמו And his mother's חפצי בה׃ Hephzibah.

1 H1121 בן old H8147 שׁתים twelve H6240 עשׂרה twelve H8141 שׁנה years H4519 מנשׁה Manasseh H4427 במלכו when he began to reign, H2572 וחמשׁים fifty H2568 וחמשׁ and five H8141 שׁנה years H4427 מלך and reigned H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem. H8034 ושׁם name H517 אמו And his mother's H2657 חפצי בה׃ Hephzibah.

2 H6213 ויעשׂ And he did H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H8441 כתועבת after the abominations H1471 הגוים of the heathen, H834 אשׁר whom H3423 הורישׁ cast out H3068 יהוה the LORD H6440 מפני before H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

3 H7725 וישׁב again H1129 ויבן For he built up H853 את H1116 הבמות the high places H834 אשׁר which H6 אבד had destroyed; H2396 חזקיהו Hezekiah H1 אביו his father H6965 ויקם and he reared up H4196 מזבחת altars H1168 לבעל for Baal, H6213 ויעשׂ and made H842 אשׁרה a grove, H834 כאשׁר as H6213 עשׂה did H256 אחאב Ahab H4428 מלך king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H7812 וישׁתחו and worshiped H3605 לכל all H6635 צבא the host H8064 השׁמים of heaven, H5647 ויעבד and served H853 אתם׃

4 H1129 ובנה And he built H4196 מזבחת altars H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר of which H559 אמר said, H3068 יהוה the LORD H3389 בירושׁלם In Jerusalem H7760 אשׂים will I put H853 את H8034 שׁמי׃ my name.

5 H1129 ויבן And he built H4196 מזבחות altars H3605 לכל for all H6635 צבא the host H8064 השׁמים of heaven H8147 בשׁתי in the two H2691 חצרות courts H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

6 H5674 והעביר pass through H853 את H1121 בנו And he made his son H784 באשׁ the fire, H6049 ועונן and observed times, H5172 ונחשׁ and used enchantments, H6213 ועשׂה and dealt H178 אוב with familiar spirits H3049 וידענים and wizards: H7235 הרבה much H6213 לעשׂות he wrought H7451 הרע wickedness H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3707 להכעיס׃ to provoke to anger.

7 H7760 וישׂם And he set H853 את H6459 פסל a graven image H842 האשׁרה of the grove H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה he had made H1004 בבית in the house, H834 אשׁר of which H559 אמר said H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אל to H1732 דוד David, H413 ואל and to H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H1121 בנו his son, H1004 בבית house, H2088 הזה In this H3389 ובירושׁלם and in Jerusalem, H834 אשׁר which H977 בחרתי I have chosen H3605 מכל out of all H7626 שׁבטי tribes H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7760 אשׂים will I put H853 את H8034 שׁמי my name H5769 לעולם׃ forever:

8 H3808 ולא Neither H3254 אסיף any more H5110 להניד move H7272 רגל will I make the feet H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H4480 מן out of H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתי I gave H1 לאבותם their fathers; H7535 רק only H518 אם if H8104 ישׁמרו they will observe H6213 לעשׂות to do H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H6680 צויתים I have commanded H3605 ולכל them, and according to all H8451 התורה the law H834 אשׁר that H6680 צוה commanded H853 אתם H5650 עבדי my servant H4872 משׁה׃ Moses

9 H3808 ולא not: H8085 שׁמעו But they hearkened H8582 ויתעם seduced H4519 מנשׁה and Manasseh H6213 לעשׂות them to do H853 את H7451 הרע more evil H4480 מן than H1471 הגוים did the nations H834 אשׁר whom H8045 השׁמיד destroyed H3068 יהוה the LORD H6440 מפני before H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

10 H1696 וידבר spoke H3068 יהוה And the LORD H3027 ביד by H5650 עבדיו his servants H5030 הנביאים the prophets, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

11 H3282 יען H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה hath done H4519 מנשׁה Manasseh H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah H8441 התעבות abominations, H428 האלה these H7489 הרע hath done wickedly H3605 מכל above all H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂו did, H567 האמרי the Amorites H834 אשׁר H6440 לפניו before H2398 ויחטא to sin H1571 גם also H853 את H3063 יהודה him, and hath made Judah H1544 בגלוליו׃ with his idols:

12 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H2005 הנני H935 מביא I bringing H7451 רעה evil H5921 על upon H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H3063 ויהודה and Judah, H834 אשׁר that H3605 כל whosoever H8085 שׁמעיו heareth H6750 תצלנה shall tingle. H8147 שׁתי of it, both H241 אזניו׃ his ears

13 H5186 ונטיתי And I will stretch H5921 על over H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H853 את H6957 קו the line H8111 שׁמרון of Samaria, H853 ואת H4949 משׁקלת and the plummet H1004 בית of the house H256 אחאב of Ahab: H4229 ומחיתי and I will wipe H853 את H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H834 כאשׁר as H4229 ימחה wipeth H853 את H6747 הצלחת a dish, H4229 מחה wiping H2015 והפך and turning H5921 על upside down. H6440 פניה׃ upside down.

14 H5203 ונטשׁתי And I will forsake H853 את H7611 שׁארית the remnant H5159 נחלתי of mine inheritance, H5414 ונתתים and deliver H3027 ביד them into the hand H341 איביהם of their enemies; H1961 והיו and they shall become H957 לבז a prey H4933 ולמשׁסה and a spoil H3605 לכל to all H341 איביהם׃ their enemies;

15 H3282 יען H834 אשׁר H6213 עשׂו they have done H853 את H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in my sight, H1961 ויהיו and have H3707 מכעסים H853 אתי H4480 מן since H3117 היום the day H834 אשׁר H3318 יצאו came forth H1 אבותם their fathers H4714 ממצרים H5704 ועד even unto H3117 היום day. H2088 הזה׃ this

16 H1571 וגם Moreover H1818 דם blood H5355 נקי innocent H8210 שׁפך shed H4519 מנשׁה Manasseh H7235 הרבה much, H3966 מאד very H5704 עד till H834 אשׁר till H4390 מלא he had filled H853 את H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H6310 פה from one end H6310 לפה to another; H905 לבד beside his sin H2403 מחטאתו H834 אשׁר wherewith H2398 החטיא H853 את H3063 יהודה H6213 לעשׂות in doing H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

17 H3499 ויתר Now the rest H1697 דברי of the acts H4519 מנשׁה of Manasseh, H3605 וכל and all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה he did, H2403 וחטאתו and his sin H834 אשׁר that H2398 חטא he sinned, H3808 הלא not H1992 הם they H3789 כתובים written H5921 על in H5612 ספר the book H1697 דברי of the chronicles H3117 הימים of the chronicles H4428 למלכי of the kings H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah?

18 H7901 וישׁכב slept H4519 מנשׁה And Manasseh H5973 עם with H1 אבתיו his fathers, H6912 ויקבר and was buried H1588 בגן in the garden H1004 ביתו of his own house, H1588 בגן in the garden H5798 עזא of Uzza: H4427 וימלך reigned H526 אמון and Amon H1121 בנו his son H8478 תחתיו׃ in his stead.
