Isaiah 10:1-34

  2 H5186 to turn aside H1800 the needy H1779 from justice, H1497 and to rob H6041 the poor H5971 of my people H4941 of their right, H490 that widows H7998 may be their spoil, H3490 and that they may make the fatherless H962 their prey!
  3 H6213 And what will ye do H3117 in the day H6486 of visitation, H7722 and in the desolation H935 which shall come H4801 from far? H5127 to whom will ye flee H5833 for help? H5800 and where will ye leave H3519 your glory?
  4 H1115 They shall H3766 only bow down H616 under the prisoners, H5307 and shall fall H2026 under the slain. H639 For all this his anger H7725 is not turned away, H3027 but his hand H5186 is stretched out still.
  5 H804 Ho Assyrian, H7626 the rod H1945 of H639 mine anger, H4294 the staff H3027 in whose hand H2195 is mine indignation!
  6 H7971 I will send H2611 him against a profane H1471 nation, H5971 and against the people H5678 of my wrath H6680 will I give him a charge, H7997 to take H7998 the spoil, H962 and to take H957 the prey, H7760 and to tread them down H2563 like the mire H2351 of the streets.
  7 H1819 Howbeit he meaneth H3824 not so, neither doth his heart H2803 think H3824 so; but it is in his heart H8045 to destroy, H3772 and to cut off H1471 nations H4592 not a few.
  8 H559 For he saith, H8269 Are not my princes H3162 all H4428 of them kings?
  9 H3641 Is not Calno H3751 as Carchemish? H2574 is not Hamath H774 as Arpad? H8111 is not Samaria H1834 as Damascus?
  10 H3027 As my hand H4672 hath found H4467 the kingdoms H457 of the idols, H6456 whose graven images H3389 did excel them of Jerusalem H8111 and of Samaria;
  11 H6213 shall I not, as I have done H8111 unto Samaria H457 and her idols, H6213 so do H3389 to Jerusalem H6091 and her idols?
  12 H136 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that, when the Lord H1214 hath performed H4639 his whole work H2022 upon mount H6726 Zion H3389 and on Jerusalem, H6485 I will punish H6529 the fruit H1433 of the stout H3824 heart H4428 of the king H804 of Assyria, H8597 and the glory H7312 of his high H5869 looks.

  15 H1631 Shall the axe H6286 boast H2672 itself against him that heweth H4883 therewith? shall the saw H1431 magnify H5130 itself against him that wieldeth H7626 it? as if a rod H5130 should wield H7311 them that lift it up, H4294 or as if a staff H7311 should lift up H6086 him that is not wood.
  16 H113 Therefore will the Lord, H136 Jehovah H6635 of hosts, H7971 send H4924 among his fat ones H7332 leanness; H3519 and under his glory H3344 there shall be kindled H3350 a burning H784 like the burning of fire.
  17 H216 And the light H3478 of Israel H784 will be for a fire, H6918 and his Holy One H3852 for a flame; H1197 and it will burn H398 and devour H7898 his thorns H8068 and his briers H259 in one H3117 day.
  18 H3615 And he will consume H3519 the glory H3293 of his forest, H3759 and of his fruitful field, H5315 both soul H1320 and body: H5263 and it shall be as when a standard-bearer H4549 fainteth.
  19 H7605 And the remnant H6086 of the trees H3293 of his forest H4557 shall be few, H5288 so that a child H3789 may write them.
  20 H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day, H7605 that the remnant H3478 of Israel, H6413 and they that are escaped H1004 of the house H3290 of Jacob, H3254 shall no more again H8172 lean H5221 upon him that smote H8172 them, but shall lean H3068 upon Jehovah, H6918 the Holy One H3478 of Israel, H571 in truth.
  21 H7605 A remnant H7725 shall return, H7605 even the remnant H3290 of Jacob, H1368 unto the mighty H410 God.
  22 H5971 For though thy people, H3478 Israel, H2344 be as the sand H3220 of the sea, H7605 only a remnant H7725 of them shall return: H3631 a destruction H2782 is determined, H7857 overflowing H6666 with righteousness.
  23 H3617 For a full end, H2782 and that determined, H136 will the Lord, H3069 Jehovah H6635 of hosts, H6213 make H7130 in the midst H776 of all the earth.
  24 H559 Therefore thus saith H136 the Lord, H3069 Jehovah H6635 of hosts, H5971 O my people H3427 that dwellest H6726 in Zion, H3372 be not afraid H804 of the Assyrian, H5221 though he smite H7626 thee with the rod, H5375 and lift up H4294 his staff H1870 against thee, after the manner H4714 of Egypt.
  25 H4213 For yet a very H4592 little while, H2195 and the indignation H3615 against thee shall be accomplished, H639 and mine anger H8399 shall be directed to his destruction.
  26 H3068 And Jehovah H6635 of hosts H5782 will stir up H7752 against him a scourge, H4347 as in the slaughter H4080 of Midian H6697 at the rock H6159 of Oreb: H4294 and his rod H3220 will be over the sea, H5375 and he will lift it up H1870 after the manner H4714 of Egypt.
  27 H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day, H5448 that his burden H5493 shall depart from off H7926 thy shoulder, H5923 and his yoke H6677 from off thy neck, H5923 and the yoke H2254 shall be destroyed H6440 by reason H8081 of fatness.
  28 H935 He is come H5857 to Aiath, H5674 he is passed H4051 through Migron; H4363 at Michmash H6485 he layeth up H3627 his baggage;
  29 H5674 they are gone over H4569 the pass; H4411 they have taken up their lodging H1387 at Geba; H7414 Ramah H2729 trembleth; H1390 Gibeah H7586 of Saul H5127 is fled.
  30 H6963 Cry H6670 aloud H6963 with thy voice, H1323 O daughter H1530 of H1554 Gallim! H7181 hearken, H6041 O Laishah! O thou poor H6068 Anathoth!
  31 H4088 Madmenah H5074 is a fugitive; H3427 the inhabitants H1374 of Gebim H5756 flee for safety.
  32 H3117 This very day H5975 shall he halt H5011 at Nob: H5130 he shaketh H3027 his hand H2022 at the mount H1323 of the daughter H6726 of Zion, H1389 the hill H3389 of Jerusalem.
  33 H113 Behold, the Lord, H3068 Jehovah H6635 of hosts, H5586 will lop H6288 the boughs H4637 with terror: H7311 and the high H6967 of stature H1438 shall be hewn down, H1364 and the lofty H1438 shall be brought low.
  34 H5362 And he will cut down H5442 the thickets H3293 of the forest H1270 with iron, H3844 and Lebanon H5307 shall fall H117 by a mighty one.
