Numbers 16:2-35 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

2 H6965 And they rose H6440 up before H4872 Moses, H582 with certain H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel, H3967 two hundred H2572 and fifty H5387 princes H5712 of the assembly, H7148 famous H4150 in the congregation, H582 men H8034 of renown:

3 H6950 And they gathered H5921 themselves together against H4872 Moses H5921 and against H175 Aaron, H559 and said H7227 to them, You take too much H3588 on you, seeing H3605 all H5712 the congregation H6918 are holy, H3605 every H3068 one of them, and the LORD H8432 is among H4069 them: why H5375 then lift H5921 you up yourselves above H6951 the congregation H3068 of the LORD?

4 H4872 And when Moses H8085 heard H5307 it, he fell H6440 on his face:

5 H1696 And he spoke H7141 to Korah H3605 and to all H5712 his company, H559 saying, H1242 Even to morrow H3068 the LORD H3045 will show H853 who H834 H853 are his, and who H6918 is holy; H7126 and will cause him to come H7126 near H834 to him: even him whom H977 he has chosen H7126 will he cause to come H7126 near to him.

6 H2063 This H6213 do; H3947 Take H4289 you censers, H7141 Korah, H3605 and all H5712 his company;

7 H5414 And put H784 fire H2004 therein, H7760 and put H7004 incense H6440 in them before H3068 the LORD H4279 to morrow: H376 and it shall be that the man H834 whom H3068 the LORD H977 does choose, H6918 he shall be holy: H7227 you take too much H1121 on you, you sons H3878 of Levi.

8 H4872 And Moses H559 said H7141 to Korah, H8085 Hear, H4994 I pray H1121 you, you sons H3878 of Levi:

9 H4592 Seems it but a small H430 thing to you, that the God H3478 of Israel H914 has separated H5712 you from the congregation H3478 of Israel, H7126 to bring H7138 you near H5647 to himself to do H5656 the service H4908 of the tabernacle H3068 of the LORD, H5975 and to stand H6440 before H5712 the congregation H8334 to minister to them?

10 H7126 And he has brought H7138 you near H3605 to him, and all H251 your brothers H1121 the sons H3878 of Levi H1245 with you: and seek H3550 you the priesthood H1571 also?

11 H3651 For which cause H3605 both you and all H5712 your company H3259 are gathered H5921 together against H3068 the LORD: H4100 and what H175 is Aaron, H3885 that you murmur H5921 against him?

12 H4872 And Moses H7971 sent H7121 to call H1885 Dathan H48 and Abiram, H1121 the sons H446 of Eliab: H559 which said, H5927 We will not come up:

13 H4592 Is it a small H5927 thing that you have brought H776 us up out of a land H2100 that flows H2461 with milk H1706 and honey, H4191 to kill H4057 us in the wilderness, H3588 except H1571 you make yourself altogether H8323 a prince H5921 over us?

14 H637 Moreover H935 you have not brought H776 us into a land H2100 that flows H2461 with milk H1706 and honey, H5414 or given H5159 us inheritance H7704 of fields H3754 and vineyards: H5365 will you put H5869 out the eyes H1992 of these H582 men? H5927 we will not come up.

15 H4872 And Moses H3966 was very H2734 wroth, H559 and said H3068 to the LORD, H6437 Respect H4503 not you their offering: H5375 I have not taken H259 one H2543 ass H3808 from them, neither H7489 have I hurt H259 one of them.

16 H4872 And Moses H559 said H7141 to Korah, H3605 Be you and all H5712 your company H6440 before H3068 the LORD, H175 you, and they, and Aaron, H4279 to morrow:

17 H3947 And take H376 every man H4289 his censer, H5414 and put H7004 incense H7126 in them, and bring H6440 you before H3068 the LORD H376 every man H4289 his censer, H3967 two hundred H2572 and fifty H4289 censers; H175 you also, and Aaron, H376 each H4289 of you his censer.

18 H3947 And they took H376 every man H4289 his censer, H5414 and put H784 fire H7760 in them, and laid H7004 incense H5921 thereon, H5975 and stood H6607 in the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation H4872 with Moses H175 and Aaron.

19 H7141 And Korah H6950 gathered H3605 all H5712 the congregation H5921 against H6607 them to the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation: H3519 and the glory H3068 of the LORD H7200 appeared H3605 to all H5712 the congregation.

20 H3068 And the LORD H1696 spoke H4872 to Moses H175 and to Aaron, H559 saying,

21 H914 Separate H8432 yourselves from among H2063 this H5712 congregation, H3615 that I may consume H7281 them in a moment.

22 H5307 And they fell H6440 on their faces, H559 and said, H410 O God, H430 the God H7307 of the spirits H3605 of all H1320 flesh, H259 shall one H376 man H2398 sin, H7107 and will you be wroth H3605 with all H5712 the congregation?

23 H3068 And the LORD H1696 spoke H4872 to Moses, H559 saying,

24 H1696 Speak H5712 to the congregation, H559 saying, H5927 Get H5439 you up from about H4908 the tabernacle H7141 of Korah, H1885 Dathan, H48 and Abiram.

25 H4872 And Moses H6965 rose H3212 up and went H1885 to Dathan H48 and Abiram; H2205 and the elders H3478 of Israel H3212 followed H310 him.

26 H1696 And he spoke H5712 to the congregation, H559 saying, H5493 Depart, H4994 I pray H168 you, from the tents H428 of these H7563 wicked H582 men, H5060 and touch H408 nothing H3605 H1992 of their’s, H6435 lest H5595 you be consumed H3605 in all H2403 their sins.

27 H5927 So they got H4908 up from the tabernacle H7141 of Korah, H1885 Dathan, H48 and Abiram, H5921 on H376 every H5439 side: H1885 and Dathan H48 and Abiram H3318 came H5324 out, and stood H6607 in the door H168 of their tents, H802 and their wives, H1121 and their sons, H2945 and their little H2945 children.

28 H4872 And Moses H559 said, H2063 Hereby H3045 you shall know H3068 that the LORD H7971 has sent H6213 me to do H3605 all H428 these H4639 works; H3820 for I have not done them of my own mind.

29 H518 If H428 these H4191 men die H4194 the common death H3605 of all H120 men, H176 or H6485 if they be visited H6486 after the visitation H3605 of all H120 men; H3068 then the LORD H7971 has not sent me.

30 H518 But if H3068 the LORD H1254 make H1278 a new H127 thing, and the earth H6475 open H6310 her mouth, H1104 and swallow H3605 them up, with all H3381 that appertain to them, and they go H3381 down H2416 quick H7585 into the pit; H3045 then you shall understand H582 that these men H5006 have provoked H3068 the LORD.

31 H1961 And it came H3615 to pass, as he had made an end H1696 of speaking H3605 all H428 these H1697 words, H127 that the ground H1234 split H8478 asunder that was under them:

32 H776 And the earth H6605 opened H6310 her mouth, H1104 and swallowed H1004 them up, and their houses, H3605 and all H120 the men H7141 that appertained to Korah, H3605 and all H7399 their goods.

33 H3605 They, and all H3381 that appertained to them, went H3381 down H2416 alive H7585 into the pit, H776 and the earth H3680 closed H6 on them: and they perished H8432 from among H6951 the congregation.

34 H3605 And all H3478 Israel H5439 that were round H5127 about them fled H6963 at the cry H559 of them: for they said, H6435 Lest H776 the earth H1104 swallow us up also.

35 H3318 And there came H784 out a fire H3068 from the LORD, H398 and consumed H3967 the two hundred H2572 and fifty H376 men H7126 that offered H7004 incense.
