  2 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G4314 towards G2073 evening, G2532 and G450 David rose up G*   G575 from G3588   G2845 his bed, G1473   G2532 and G4043 walked G1909 upon G3588 the G1430 roof G3588 of the G3624 house G3588 of the G935 king. G2532 And G1492 he beheld G575 from G3588 the G1430 roof G1135 a woman G3068 bathing; G2532 and G3588 the G1135 woman G2570 was good G3588   G3799 in appearance -- G4970 exceedingly.

  3 G2532 And G649 David sent G*   G2532 and G2212 sought G3588 the G1135 woman. G2532 And G2036 they said said, G3780 Is not G3778 this G* Bath-sheba, G2364 daughter G* of Eliam, G1135 wife G* of Uriah G3588 the G* Hittite?

  4 G2532 And G649 David sent G*   G32 messengers, G2532 and G2983 he took G1473 her; G2532 and G1525 he entered G4314 to G1473 her, G2532 and G2837 went to bed G3326 with G1473 her, G2532 and G1473 she G1510.7.3 was G37 being set apart G575 from G167 her uncleanness.   7 G2532 And G3854 Uriah came G*   G2532 and G1525 entered G4314 to G1473 him. G2532 And G1905 David asked G*   G1519 for G1515 the peace G* of Joab, G2532 and G1519 for G1515 the peace G3588 of the G2992 people, G2532 and G1519 for G1515 the peace G3588 of the G4171 war.

  11 G2532 And G2036 Uriah said G*   G4314 to G* David, G3588 The G2787 ark, G2532 and G* Israel, G2532 and G* Judah, G2730 dwell G1722 in G4633 tents; G2532 and G3588   G2962 my master G1473   G* Joab, G2532 and G3588 the G1401 man-servants G3588   G2962 of my master G1473   G1909 [²upon G4383 ³ the face G3588 ⁴of the G68 ⁵field G3924.2 ¹camp]; G2532 and G1473 shall I G1525 enter G1519 into G3588   G3624 my house G1473   G2068 to eat G2532 and G4095 to drink G2532 and G2837 to go to bed G3326 with G3588   G1135 my wife?   15 G2532 And G1125 he wrote G1722 in G3588 the G975 scroll, G3004 saying, G1521 Bring G3588   G* Uriah G1828.2 right opposite G3588 the G4171 battle G3588 of the G2900 fortified part, G2532 and G654 turn away G575 from G3693 behind G1473 him! G2532 And G4098 there fell G575 some of G3588 the G2992 people G1537 of G3588 the G1401 servants G* of David; G2532 and G599 [⁵died G2532 ⁶also G1065 ¹even G* ²Uriah G3588 ³the G* ⁴Hittite].

  18 G2532 And G649 Joab sent G*   G2532 and G518 reported G3588   G* to David G3956 all G3588 the G4487 matters G3588 of the G4171 battle.

  19 G2532 And G1781 Joab gave charge G*   G3588 to the G32 messenger, G3004 saying, G1722 In G3588   G4931 your completing G1473   G3956 all G3588 the G4487 matters G3588 of the G4171 battle G2980 speaking G4314 to G3588 the G935 king,

G3780 Did not G1135 a woman G4495 toss G2801 a piece G3458 of millstone G1909 upon G1473 him G575 from G509 above G3588 the G5038 wall, G2532 and G599 he died G1722 in G* Thebez?   22 G2532 And G3854 [⁴came G3588 ¹the G32 ²messenger G* ³of Joab] G4314 to G3588 the G935 king G1519 in G* Jerusalem, G2532 and G518 reported G3588   G* to David G3956 all G3745 as much as G2980 Joab spoke.

  23 G2532 And G2036 [³said G3588 ¹the G32 ²messenger] G4314 to G* David G3754 that, G2901 [³strengthened G1909 ⁴against G1473 ⁵us G3588 ¹The G435 ²men], G2532 and G1831 came forth G1909 against G1473 us G1519 into G3588 the G68 field, G2532 and G1096 we came G1909 unto G1473 them G2193 unto G3588 the G2374 door G3588 of the G4439 gate.

  24 G2532 And G5114.2 [³shot G3588 ¹the ones G5114.2 ²shooting] G1909 unto G3588   G1401 your servants G1473   G575 from G3588 of the G5038 wall, G2532 and G599 there died G575 some of G3588 the G1401 servants G3588 of the G935 king, G2532 and G1065 even G3588   G1401 your subject G1473   G* Uriah G3588 the G* Hittite G2348 has died.

  25 G2532 And G2036 David said G*   G4314 to G3588 the G32 messenger, G3592 Thus G2046 you shall say G4314 to G* Joab, G3361 Do not let G4190 [²be severe G1510.5   G1722 ³in G3788 ⁴your eyes G1473   G3588   G4487 ¹this matter], G3778   G3754 for G4218 perhaps G3303 indeed G3779 it is thus one way, G4218 and perhaps G1161   G3779 thus another way G2719 [³devours G3588 ¹ that the G4501 ²broadsword]; G2901 strengthen G3588   G4171 your battle G1473   G1909 against G3588 the G4172 city, G2532 and G2679 raze it, G1473   G2532 and G2901 strengthen G1473 against it.

  26 G2532 And G191 [⁴heard G3588 ¹the G1135 ²wife G* ³of Uriah] G3754 that G2348 [³has died G* ¹Uriah G3588   G435 ²her husband], G1473   G2532 and G2875 she lamented G1909 over G3588   G435 her husband. G1473  

  27 G2532 And G1330 [³went by G3588 ¹the G3997 ² time of mourning], G2532 and G649 David sent G*   G2532 and G4863 brought G1473 her G1519 into G3588   G3624 his house. G1473   G2532 And G1096 she became G1473 to him G1519 for G1135 a wife, G2532 and G5088 she bore G1473 to him G5207 a son. G2532 And G4190 [⁶wicked G5316 ⁵appeared G3588 ¹the G4487 ²matter G3739 ³which G4160 ⁴David did] G*   G1722 in G3788 the eyes G2962 of the lord .
