  13 G2532 And G1525 [4entered G* 1Adonijah G5207 2son G* 3of Haggith] G4314 to G* Bath-sheba, G3588 the G3384 mother G* of Solomon, G2532 and G4352 did obeisance to G1473 her. G2532 And G2036 she said, G1515 [3in peace G3588   G1529 2entering G1473 1 Are you]? G2532 And G2036 he said, G1515 Peace.
  14 G2532 And G2036 he said, G3056 My word G1473   G4314 to G1473 you. G2532 And G2036 she said G1473 to him, G2980 Speak!
  15 G2532 And G2036 he said G1473 to her, G1473 You G1492 know G3754 that G1473 to me G1510.7.3 was G3588 the G932 kingdom, G2532 and G1909 upon G1473 me G5087 [3set G3956 1all G* 2Israel] G3588   G4383 their face G1473   G1519 for G935 king. G2532 And G654 [3was turned G3588 1the G932 2kingdom], G2532 and G1096 came G3588 to G80 my brother; G1473   G3754 for G3844 by G2962 the lord G1510.7.3 it was G1473 to him.
  16 G2532 And G3568 now G155.1 [4request G1520 3one G1473 1I G154 2ask] G3844 from G1473 you, G3361 you should not G654 turn away G3588   G4383 your face. G1473   G2532 And G2036 [2said G1473 3to him G* 1Bath-sheba], G2980 Speak!
  17 G2532 And G2036 he said G1473 to her, G2036 Speak G1211 indeed G4314 to G* Solomon G3588 the G935 king! G3754 for G3756 he will not G654 turn away G3588   G4383 your face, G1473   G2532 so that G1325 he shall give G1473 to me G3588   G* Abishag G3588 the G* Shunammite G1519 for G1135 wife.
  18 G2532 And G2036 Bath-sheba said, G*   G2573 Well, G1473 I G2980 will speak G4012 for G1473 you G3588 to the G935 king.
  19 G2532 And G1525 Bath-sheba entered G*   G4314 to G3588   G935 king G* Solomon G2980 to speak G1473 to him G4012 concerning G* Adonijah. G2532 And G1817 [3rose up G3588 1the G935 2king] G1519 to G529 meet G1473 her, G2532 and G4352 he did obeisance to G1473 her, G2532 and G2523 he sat G1909 upon G3588   G2362 his throne. G1473   G2532 And G5087 [2was set G2362 1a throne] G3588 for the G3384 mother G3588 of the G935 king; G2532 and G2523 she sat G1537 on G1188 his right. G1473  
  20 G2532 And G2036 she said G1473 to him, G155.1 [5request G1520 3one G3397 4small G1473 1I G154 2ask] G3844 from G1473 you, G3361 you should not G654 turn away G3588   G4383 my face. G1473   G2532 And G2036 [3said G1473 4to her G3588 1the G935 2king], G154 Ask G3384 [2mother G1699 1my], G3754 for G3756 I will not turn from G654   G1473 you.
  21 G2532 And G2036 she said, G1325 Let there be given G1211 indeed G* Abishag G3588 the G* Shunammite G3588 to G* Adonijah G3588   G80 your brother G1473   G1519 for G1135 wife!
  22 G2532 And G611 [3answered G3588   G935 1king G* 2Solomon] G2532 and G2036 said G3588 to G3384 his mother, G1473   G2532 And G2444 why G1473 are you G154 asking G3588   G* Abishag G3588 for G* Adonijah? G2532 Then G154 ask G1473 for him G3588 the G932 kingdom, G3754 for G3778 this one G3588   G80 [3brother G1473 1 is my G3588   G3173 2older] G5228 over G1473 me, G2532 and G1473 with him G* are Abiathar G3588 the G2409 priest, G2532 and G1473 with him G* Joab G5207 son G* of Zeruiah G751.2 commander-in-chief -- G2083 his companion.
  23 G2532 And G3660 [3swore by an oath G3588   G935 1king G* 2Solomon] G2596 according to G3588 the G2962 lord, G3004 saying, G3592 Thus G4160 may [2do G1473 3to me G3588   G2316 1God], G2532 and G3592 thus G4369 may he add to it G3754 for G2596 [3against G3588   G5590 4his own life G1473   G2980 1Adonijah spoke G*   G3588   G3056 2this word].   24 G2532 And G3568 now G2198 as the lord lives, G2962   G3739 who G2090 prepared G1473 me, G2532 and G5087 put G1473 me G1909 upon G3588 the G2362 throne G* of David G3588   G3962 my father, G1473   G2532 and G1473 he G4160 made G1473 to me G3624 a house G2531 as G2980 the lord said, G2962   G3754 that G4594 today G2289 Adonijah shall be put to death. G*  
  25 G2532 And G1821 [3sent out G3588   G935 1king G* 2Solomon] G1722 by G5495 the hand G* of Benaiah G5207 son G* of Jehoiada; G2532 and G337 he did away with G1473 him, G2532 and G599 he died.
  26 G2532 And G3588   G* to Abiathar G3588 the G2409 priest G2036 [3said G3588 1the G935 2king], G665.1 Run G1519 unto G* Anathoth, G1519 to G3588   G68 your field! G1473   G3754 for G435 [2a man G2288 3 marked for death G1487 1your are], G1473   G2532 and G1722 from G3588   G2250 this day G3778   G3756 I will not put [2to death G2289   G1473 1you], G3754 for G142 you lifted G3588 the G2787 ark G3588 of the G1242 covenant G2962 of the lord G1799 before G* David G3588   G3962 my father, G1473   G2532 and G3754 because G2558 you were mistreated G1722 in G3956 all G3739 ways which G2558 [2was mistreated G3588   G3962 1my father].
  27 G2532 And G1544 Solomon cast out G*   G3588   G* Abiathar G3588 so that G3361 he would not G1510.1 be G1519 for G2409 priest G3588 to the G2962 lord; G3588 to G4137 fulfill G3588 the G4487 saying G2962 of the lord, G3739 which G2980 he said G1909 concerning G3588 the G3624 house G* of Eli G1722 in G* Shiloh.
  28 G2532 And G3588 the G189 report G2064 came G2193 unto G* Joab G5207 son G* of Zeruiah; G3754 for G* Joab G1510.7.3 was G2827 leaning G3694 after G* Adonijah, G2532 but G3694 [3after G* 4Solomon G3756 1he did not G1578 2turn aside]. G2532 And G5343 Joab fled G*   G1519 to G3588 the G4638 tent G3588 of the G2962 lord, G2532 and G2722 held G3588 the G2768 horns G3588 of the G2379 altar.
  29 G2532 And G518 it was reported G3588   G* to Solomon, G3004 saying G3754 that, G5343 Joab has fled G*   G1519 into G3588 the G4633 tent G3588 of the G2962 lord, G2532 and G2400 behold, G2722 he holds G3588 the G2768 horns G3588 of the G2379 altar. G2532 And G649 Solomon sent G*   G3588   G* Benaiah G5207 son G* of Jehoiada, G3004 saying, G4198 Go, G2532 and G337 do away with G1473 him!
  30 G2532 And G2064 Benaiah came G*   G4314 to G* Joab G1519 in G3588 the G4633 tent G2962 of the lord, G2532 and G2036 he said G4314 to G1473 him, G3592 Thus G3004 says G3588 the G935 king, G1831 Come forth! G2532 And G2036 Joab said, G*   G3756 I do not go forth, G1607   G3754 for G5602 here G599 I shall die. G2532 And G1994 Benaiah returned G*   G2532 and G2036 said G3588 to the G935 king, G3004 saying, G3592 Thus G2980 Joab has spoken, G*   G2532 and G3592 thus G611 he answered G1473 me.
  31 G2532 And G2036 [3said G1473 4to him G3588 1the G935 2king], G4198 Go, G2532 and G4160 do G1473 to him G2531 as G2046 he has said, G2532 and G337 do away with G1473 him! G2532 And G2290 you shall bury G1473 him, G2532 and G1808 lift away G4594 today G3588 the G129 blood G3739 which G1632 Joab poured out G*   G1431 freely G575 from G1473 me, G2532 and G575 from G3588 the G3624 house G3588   G3962 of my father.   32 G2532 And G1994 the lord returned G2962   G3588 the G129 blood G3588   G93 of his iniquity G1473   G1519 onto G2776 his head, G1473   G5613 inasmuch as G528 he met G3588 the G1417 two G444 [4men G3588   G1342 1just G2532 2and G18 3good] G5228 above G1473 him, G2532 and G615 killed G1473 them G1722 by G4501 the broadsword. G2532 And G3588   G3962 my father G1473   G* David G3756 did not G1097 know about G3588   G* Abner G5207 son G* of Ner, G751.2 commander-in-chief G* of Israel, G2532 and G3588   G* Amasa G5207 son G* of Jether, G751.2 commander-in-chief G* of Judah.
  33 G2532 And G654 let [3return G3588   G129 2blood G1473 1their] G1519 upon G3588   G2776 his head, G1473   G2532 and G1519 upon G3588 the G2776 head G3588   G4690 of his seed G1473   G2193 unto G165 the eon! G2532 And G3588 to G* David, G2532 and G3588 to G4690 his seed, G1473   G2532 and G3588 to G3624 his house, G1473   G2532 and G3588 to G2362 his throne, G1473   G1096 may there be G1515 peace G3844 by G2962 the lord G2193 into G165 the eon.
  34 G2532 And G305 [4ascended G* 1Benaiah G5207 2son G* 3of Jehoiada], G2532 and G528 met G1473 him, G2532 and G2289 killed G1473 him. G2532 And G2290 they entombed G1473 him G1722 in G3588   G3624 his house G1473   G1722 in G3588 the G2048 wilderness.
  35 G2532 And G1325 [3appointed G3588 1the G935 2king] G3588   G* Benaiah G5207 son G* of Jehoiada G473 instead of G1473 him G1909 over G3588 the G4756 military. G2532 And G3588   G* [4Zadok G3588 5the G2409 6priest G1325 3appointed G3588 1the G935 2king], G1519 as G2409 [2priest G4413 1foremost] G473 instead G* of Abiathar.
  36 G2532 And G649 sending, G2564 [3called G3588 1the G935 2king] G3588   G* Shimei, G2532 and G2036 said G1473 to him, G3618 Build G4572 for yourself G3624 a house G1722 in G* Jerusalem, G2532 and G2521 settle G1563 there, G2532 and G3756 do not G1831 go forth G1564 from there -- G3759.1 not at all!
  37 G2532 And G1510.8.3 it will be G1722 in G3588 the G2250 day G3588 that G1841 you exit, G1473   G2532 and G1224 pass over G3588 the G5493 rushing stream G3588   G* Kidron, G1097 in knowing, G1097 know G3754 that G2288 to death G599 you shall die, G3588   G129 your blood G1473   G1510.8.3 will be G1909 upon G3588   G2776 your head.   38 G2532 And G2036 Shimei said G*   G4314 to G3588 the G935 king, G18 [3is good G3588 1The G4487 2thing] G3739 which G2980 you have spoken, G2962 O my master, G1473   G935 O king, G3779 thus G4160 shall [2do G3588   G1401 1your servant]. G1473   G2532 And G2523 Shimei settled G*   G1722 in G* Jerusalem G5140 three G2094 years.
  39 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G3326 after G5140 three G2094 years, G2532 that G590.2 [4ran away G1417 1two G1401 2servants G* 3of Shimei] G4314 to G* Achish G5207 son G* of Maachah G935 king G* of Gath. G2532 And G518 they reported G3588   G* to Shimei, G3004 saying, G2400 Behold, G3588   G1401 your servants G1473   G1722 are in G* Gath.
  40 G2532 And G450 Shimei rose up, G*   G2532 and G1977.2 saddled G3588   G3688 his donkey, G1473   G2532 and G4198 went G1519 unto G* Gath G4314 to G* Achish G3588   G1567 to seek after G3588   G1401 his servants. G1473   G2532 And G4198 Shimei went G*   G2532 and G71 led G3588   G1401 his servants G1473   G1537 from G* Gath.
  41 G2532 And G518 it was reported G3588 to G* Solomon, G3004 saying G3754 that, G4198 Shimei went G*   G1537 from out of G* Jerusalem G1519 unto G* Gath, G2532 and G390 he returned.
  42 G2532 And G649 [3sent G3588 1the G935 2king] G2532 and G2564 called G3588   G* Shimei, G2532 and G2036 he said G4314 to G1473 him, G3780 Have I not G3726 bound you by an oath G1473   G2596 according to G3588 the G2962 lord, G2532 and G1957 I attested G1473 to you, G3004 saying, G1722 In G3739 which G302 ever G2250 day G1831 you should go forth G1537 from out of G* Jerusalem, G2532 and G4198 you should go G1519 to G1188 the right G2228 or G710 left, G1097 in knowing, G1097 know G3754 that G2288 to death G599 you shall die? G2532 And G2036 you said G1473 to me, G18 [5 was good G3588 1The G4487 2word G3739 3which G191 4you heard].
  43 G2532 And G5100 why G3756 have you not guarded G5442   G3588 the G3727 oath G2962 of the lord, G2532 and G3588 the G1785 commandment G3739 which G1781 I gave charge G2596 to G1473 you?
  44 G2532 And G2036 [3said G3588 1the G935 2king] G4314 to G* Shimei, G1473 You G1492 know G3956 all G3588   G2549 your evil G1473   G3739 which G1492 [2knows G3588   G2588 1your heart], G1473   G3739 which G4160 you did G* to David G3588   G3962 my father, G1473   G2532 and G467 the lord recompensed G2962   G3588   G2549 your evil G1473   G1519 on G2776 your head.   45 G2532 And G3588   G935 king G* Solomon G2127 is being blessed, G2532 and G3588 the G2362 throne G* of David G1510.8.3 will be G2092 prepared G1799 before G2962 the lord G1519 into G3588 the G165 eon.
  46 G2532 And G1781 [3gave charge G3588   G935 1king G* 2Solomon] G3588 to G* Benaiah G5207 son G* of Jehoiada. G2532 And G1831 he came forth, G2532 and G337 did away with G1473 him, G2532 and G599 he died.
