Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁷ Dregătorii, îngrijitorii, cîrmuitorii, şi sfetnicii împăratului s'au strîns şi au văzut că focul n'avusese nici o putere asupra trupului acestor oameni, că nici perii capului lor nu se pîrliseră, hainele le rămăseseră neschimbate, şi nici măcar miros de foc nu se prinsese de ei. ²⁸ Nebucadneţar a luat cuvîntul, şi a zis:,,Binecuvîntat să fie Dumnezeul lui Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego, care a trimes pe îngerul Său şi a izbăvit pe slujitorii Săi cari s'au încrezut în El, au călcat porunca împăratului şi şi-au dat mai degrabă trupurile lor de cît să slujească şi să se închine altui dumnezeu de cît Dumnezeului lor! ²⁹ Iată acum porunca pe care o dau: orice om din orice popor, neam sau limbă ar fi, care va vorbi rău de Dumnezeul lui Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego, va fi făcut bucăţi şi casa lui va fi prefăcută într'un morman de murdării, pentrucă... nu este niciun alt dumnezeu, care să poată izbăvi ca El.`` ³⁰ După aceea, împăratul a înălţat pe Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego la mare cinste, în ţinutul Babilonului. ⁴ ¹ ,,Nebucadneţar, împăratul, către toate popoarele, neamurile, oamenii de toate limbile, cari locuiesc pe tot pămîntul: Să aveţi multă pace! ² Am găsit cu cale să fac cunoscut semnele şi minunile, pe cari le -a făcut Dumnezeul cel Prea Înalt faţă de mine. ³ Cît de mari sînt semnele Lui şi cît de puternice sînt minunile Lui! Împărăţia Lui este o împărăţie vecinică, şi stăpînirea Lui dăinuieşte din neam în neam!

Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁷ І зібралися сатрапи, заступники, і підсатрапи, і цареві радники, та й побачили тих мужів, що огонь не мав сили над їхнім тілом, і не опалився волос їхньої голови, і їхні плащі не змінилися, і запах огню не ввійшов у них. ²⁸ Навуходоносор заговорив та й сказав: Благословенний Бог Шадраха, Мешаха та Авед-Неґо, що послав Свого Ангола, і врятував Своїх рабів, які надіялися на Нього. І вони не послухалися царського слова, і дали свої тіла на огонь, аби не служити й не кланятися іншому богові, крім Бога свого. ²⁹ А тепер від мене видається наказ, що кожен з народу, люду та язика, який скаже що згірдливе на Бога Шадраха, Мешаха та Авед-Неґо, буде почетвертований, а дім його обернений буде на сміття, бо немає іншого Бога, що міг би так урятувати, як оце. ³⁰ Того часу цар зробив, щоб добре велося Шадрахові, Мешахові та Авед-Неґові в вавилонській окрузі. Цар Навуходоносор, до всіх народів, племен та язиків, що мешкають на всій землі: Нехай вам примножиться мир! Знаки та чуда, які зробив зо мною Всевишній Бог, уважаю за відповідне об'явити. Які великі Його знаки, й які потужні Його чуда! Царство Його царство вічне, а Його панування з покоління в покоління!⁴ ¹ Я, Навуходоносор, був спокійний в своєму домі, і щасливий у палаті своїй. ² Я бачив сон, і він настрашив мене, а думки на моєму ложі та видіння моєї голови налякали мене. ³ І був виданий від мене наказ привести перед мене всіх вавилонських мудреців, щоб вони об'явили мені розв'язку сна.
