Ezekiel 22

  2 H1121 Now, thou son H120 of man H8199 , wilt thou judge [H8799]   H8199 , wilt thou judge [H8799]   H1818 the bloody H5892 city H3045 ? yea, thou shalt shew [H8689]   H8441 her all her abominations.
  3 H559 Then say [H8804]   H559 thou, Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H5892 , The city H8210 sheddeth [H8802]   H1818 blood H8432 in the midst H6256 of it, that her time H935 may come [H8800]   H6213 , and maketh [H8804]   H1544 idols H2930 against herself to defile [H8800]   herself.
  4 H816 Thou art become guilty [H8804]   H1818 in thy blood H8210 that thou hast shed [H8804]   H2930 ; and hast defiled [H8804]   H1544 thyself in thine idols H6213 which thou hast made [H8804]   H3117 ; and thou hast caused thy days H7126 to draw near [H8686]   H935 , and art come [H8799]   H8141 even unto thy years H5414 : therefore have I made [H8804]   H2781 thee a reproach H1471 unto the heathen H7048 , and a mocking H776 to all countries.
  5 H7138 Those that be near H7350 , and those that be far H7046 from thee, shall mock [H8691]   H2931 thee, which art infamous H8034   H7227 and much H4103 vexed.
  6 H5387 Behold, the princes H3478 of Israel H376 , every one H2220 were in thee to their power H8210 to shed [H8800]   H1818 blood.
  7 H7043 In thee have they set light [H8689]   H1 by father H517 and mother H8432 : in the midst H6213 of thee have they dealt [H8804]   H6233 by oppression H1616 with the stranger H3238 : in thee have they vexed [H8689]   H3490 the fatherless H490 and the widow.
  8 H959 Thou hast despised [H8804]   H6944 mine holy things H2490 , and hast profaned [H8765]   H7676 my sabbaths.
  9 H582 In thee are men H7400 that carry tales H8210 to shed [H8800]   H1818 blood H398 : and in thee they eat [H8804]   H2022 upon the mountains H8432 : in the midst H6213 of thee they commit [H8804]   H2154 lewdness.
  10 H1540 In thee have they discovered [H8765]   H1 their fathers H6172 ' nakedness H6031 : in thee have they humbled [H8765]   H5079 her that was set apart H2931 for pollution.

  12 H3947 In thee have they taken [H8804]   H7810 gifts H8210 to shed [H8800]   H1818 blood H3947 ; thou hast taken [H8804]   H5392 usury H8636 and increase H1214 , and thou hast greedily gained [H8762]   H7453 of thy neighbours H6233 by extortion H7911 , and hast forgotten [H8804]   H5002 me, saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD.
  13 H5221 Behold, therefore I have smitten [H8689]   H3709 mine hand H1215 at thy dishonest gain H6213 which thou hast made [H8804]   H1818 , and at thy blood H8432 which hath been in the midst of thee.
  14 H3820 Can thine heart H5975 endure [H8799]   H3027 , or can thine hands H2388 be strong [H8799]   H3117 , in the days H6213 that I shall deal [H8802]   H3068 with thee? I the LORD H1696 have spoken [H8765]   H6213 it, and will do [H8804]   it .
  15 H6327 And I will scatter [H8689]   H1471 thee among the heathen H2219 , and disperse [H8765]   H776 thee in the countries H8552 , and will consume [H8689]   H2932 thy filthiness out of thee.
  16 H2490 And thou shalt take thine inheritance [H8738]   [H8676]   H5157   [H8765]   H5869 in thyself in the sight H1471 of the heathen H3045 , and thou shalt know [H8804]   H3068 that I am the LORD.
  17 H1697 And the word H3068 of the LORD H559 came unto me, saying [H8800]  ,
  18 H1121 Son H120 of man H1004 , the house H3478 of Israel H5509 is to me become dross H5178 : all they are brass H913 , and tin H1270 , and iron H5777 , and lead H8432 , in the midst H3564 of the furnace H5509 ; they are even the dross H3701 of silver.
  19 H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H5509 ; Because ye are all become dross H6908 , behold, therefore I will gather [H8802]   H8432 you into the midst H3389 of Jerusalem.
  20 H6910 As they gather H3701 silver H5178 , and brass H1270 , and iron H5777 , and lead H913 , and tin H8432 , into the midst H3564 of the furnace H5301 , to blow [H8800]   H784 the fire H5413 upon it, to melt [H8687]   H6908 it; so will I gather [H8799]   H639 you in mine anger H2534 and in my fury H3240 , and I will leave [H8689]   H5413 you there, and melt [H8689]   you.
  21 H3664 Yea, I will gather [H8765]   H5301 you, and blow [H8804]   H784 upon you in the fire H5678 of my wrath H5413 , and ye shall be melted [H8738]   H8432 in the midst thereof.
  22 H3701 As silver H2046 is melted H8432 in the midst H3564 of the furnace H5413 , so shall ye be melted [H8714]   H8432 in the midst H3045 thereof; and ye shall know [H8804]   H3068 that I the LORD H8210 have poured out [H8804]   H2534 my fury upon you.
  23 H1697 And the word H3068 of the LORD H559 came unto me, saying [H8800]  ,
  24 H1121 Son H120 of man H559 , say [H8798]   H776 unto her, Thou art the land H2891 that is not cleansed [H8794]   H1656 , nor rained H3117 upon in the day H2195 of indignation.
  25 H7195 There is a conspiracy H5030 of her prophets H8432 in the midst H7580 thereof, like a roaring [H8802]   H738 lion H2963 ravening [H8802]   H2964 the prey H398 ; they have devoured [H8804]   H5315 souls H3947 ; they have taken [H8799]   H2633 the treasure H3366 and precious things H7235 ; they have made her many [H8689]   H490 widows H8432 in the midst thereof.
  26 H3548 Her priests H2554 have violated [H8804]   H8451 my law H2490 , and have profaned [H8762]   H6944 mine holy things H914 : they have put no difference [H8689]   H6944 between the holy H2455 and profane H3045 , neither have they shewed [H8689]   H2931 difference between the unclean H2889 and the clean H5956 , and have hid [H8689]   H5869 their eyes H7676 from my sabbaths H2490 , and I am profaned [H8735]   H8432 among them.
  27 H8269 Her princes H7130 in the midst H2061 thereof are like wolves H2963 ravening [H8802]   H2964 the prey H8210 , to shed [H8800]   H1818 blood H6 , and to destroy [H8763]   H5315 souls H1214 , to get [H8800]   H1215 dishonest gain.
  28 H5030 And her prophets H2902 have daubed [H8804]   H8602 them with untempered H2374 morter, seeing H7723 vanity H7080 , and divining [H8802]   H3577 lies H559 unto them, saying [H8802]   H559 , Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H3068 , when the LORD H1696 hath not spoken [H8765]  .
  29 H5971 The people H776 of the land H6231 have used oppression [H8804]   H6233   H1497 , and exercised [H8804]   H1498 robbery H3238 , and have vexed [H8689]   H6041 the poor H34 and needy H6231 : yea, they have oppressed [H8804]   H1616 the stranger H4941 wrongfully.
  30 H1245 And I sought [H8762]   H376 for a man H1443 among them, that should make up [H8802]   H1447 the hedge H5975 , and stand [H8802]   H6556 in the gap H6440 before H776 me for the land H7843 , that I should not destroy [H8763]   H4672 it: but I found [H8804]   none.
  31 H8210 Therefore have I poured out [H8799]   H2195 mine indignation H3615 upon them; I have consumed [H8765]   H784 them with the fire H5678 of my wrath H1870 : their own way H5414 have I recompensed [H8804]   H7218 upon their heads H5002 , saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD.
