Job 14

KJV_Strongs(i)
H120 Man H3205 that is born [H8803]   H802 of a woman H7116 is of few H3117 days H7649 , and full H7267 of trouble.
H3318 He cometh forth [H8804]   H6731 like a flower H5243 , and is cut down [H8799]   H1272 : he fleeth [H8799]   H6738 also as a shadow H5975 , and continueth [H8799]   not.
H6491 And dost thou open [H8804]   H5869 thine eyes H2088 upon such an one H935 , and bringest [H8686]   H4941 me into judgment with thee?
H5414 Who can bring [H8799]   H2889 a clean H2931 thing out of an unclean H259 ? not one.
H518 Seeing H3117 his days H2782 are determined [H8803]   H4557 , the number H2320 of his months H6213 are with thee, thou hast appointed [H8804]   H2706 his bounds H5674 that he cannot pass [H8799]  ;
H8159 Turn [H8798]   H2308 from him, that he may rest [H8799]   H7521 , till he shall accomplish [H8799]   H7916 , as an hireling H3117 , his day.
H3426 For there is H8615 hope H6086 of a tree H3772 , if it be cut down [H8735]   H2498 , that it will sprout again [H8686]   H3127 , and that the tender branch H2308 thereof will not cease [H8799]  .
H8328 Though the root H2204 thereof wax old [H8686]   H776 in the earth H1503 , and the stock H4191 thereof die [H8799]   H6083 in the ground;
H7381 Yet through the scent H4325 of water H6524 it will bud [H8686]   H6213 , and bring forth [H8804]   H7105 boughs H5194 like a plant.
H1397 But man H4191 dieth [H8799]   H2522 , and wasteth away [H8799]   H120 : yea, man H1478 giveth up the ghost [H8799]  , and where is he?
H4325 As the waters H235 fail [H8804]   H3220 from the sea H5104 , and the flood H2717 decayeth [H8799]   H3001 and drieth up [H8804]  :
H376 So man H7901 lieth down [H8804]   H6965 , and riseth [H8799]   H8064 not: till the heavens H1115 be no more H6974 , they shall not awake [H8686]   H5782 , nor be raised out [H8735]   H8142 of their sleep.
H5414 O that [H8799]   H6845 thou wouldest hide [H8686]   H7585 me in the grave H5641 , that thou wouldest keep me secret [H8686]   H639 , until thy wrath H7725 be past [H8800]   H7896 , that thou wouldest appoint [H8799]   H2706 me a set time H2142 , and remember [H8799]   me!
H1397 If a man H4191 die [H8799]   H2421 , shall he live [H8799]   H3117 again ? all the days H6635 of my appointed time H3176 will I wait [H8762]   H2487 , till my change H935 come [H8800]  .
H7121 Thou shalt call [H8799]   H6030 , and I will answer [H8799]   H3700 thee: thou wilt have a desire [H8799]   H4639 to the work H3027 of thine hands.
H5608 For now thou numberest [H8799]   H6806 my steps H8104 : dost thou not watch [H8799]   H2403 over my sin?
H6588 My transgression H2856 is sealed up [H8803]   H6872 in a bag H2950 , and thou sewest up [H8799]   H5771 mine iniquity.
H199 And surely H2022 the mountain H5307 falling [H8802]   H5034 cometh to nought [H8799]   H6697 , and the rock H6275 is removed [H8799]   H4725 out of his place.
H4325 The waters H7833 wear [H8804]   H68 the stones H7857 : thou washest away [H8799]   H5599 the things which grow H6083 out of the dust H776 of the earth H6 ; and thou destroyest [H8689]   H8615 the hope H582 of man.
H8630 Thou prevailest [H8799]   H5331 for ever H1980 against him, and he passeth [H8799]   H8138 : thou changest [H8764]   H6440 his countenance H7971 , and sendest him away [H8762]  .
H1121 His sons H3513 come to honour [H8799]   H3045 , and he knoweth [H8799]   H6819 it not; and they are brought low [H8799]   H995 , but he perceiveth [H8799]   it not of them.
H1320 But his flesh H3510 upon him shall have pain [H8799]   H5315 , and his soul H56 within him shall mourn [H8799]  .
ERV(i) 1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. 2 He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not. 3 And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee? 4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. 5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months is with thee, and thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass; 6 Look away from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day. 7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. 8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; 9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and put forth boughs like a plant. 10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he? 11 [As] the waters fail from the sea, and the river decayeth and drieth up; 12 So man lieth down and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be roused out of their sleep. 13 Oh that thou wouldest hide me in Sheol, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! 14 If a man die, shall he live [again]? all the days of my warfare would I wait, till my release should come. 15 Thou shouldest call, and I would answer thee: thou wouldest have a desire to the work of thine hands. 16 But now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin? 17 My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou fastenest up mine iniquity. 18 And surely the mountain falling cometh to nought, and the rock is removed out of its place; 19 The waters wear the stones; the overflowings thereof wash away the dust of the earth: and thou destroyest the hope of man. 20 Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth; thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away. 21 His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them. 22 But his flesh upon him hath pain, and his soul within him mourneth.
