  2 H802 And the woman H2029 conceived, H3205 and bare H1121 a son: H7200 and when she saw H2896 him that he was a goodly H6845 child, she hid H7969 him three H3391 months.
  3 H3201 And when she could H5750 not longer H6845 hide H3947 him, she took H8392 for him an ark H1573 of bulrushes, H2560 and daubed H2564 it with slime H2203 and with pitch; H7760 and she put H3206 the child H7760 therein, and laid H5488 it in the flags H2975 by the river's H8193 brink.
  4 H269 And his sister H3320 stood H7350 afar off, H3045 to know H6213 what would be done to him.
  5 H1323 And the daughter H6547 of Pharaoh H3381 came down H7364 to bathe H2975 at the river; H5291 and her maidens H1980 walked H2975 along by the H3027 river-side; H7200 and she saw H8392 the ark H8432 among H5488 the flags, H7971 and sent H519 her handmaid H3947 to fetch it.
  6 H6605 And she opened H7200 it, and saw H3206 the child: H5288 and, behold, the babe H1058 wept. H2550 And she had compassion H559 on him, and said, H5680 This is one of the Hebrews' H3206 children.
  7 H559 Then said H269 his sister H6547 to Pharaoh's H1323 daughter, H3212 Shall I go H7121 and call H3243 thee a nurse H5680 of the Hebrew H802 women, H3243 that she may nurse H3206 the child for thee?
  8 H6547 And Pharaoh's H1323 daughter H559 said H3212 to her, Go. H5959 And the maiden H3212 went H7121 and called H3206 the child's H517 mother.
  9 H6547 And Pharaoh's H1323 daughter H559 said H3212 unto her, Take H3206 this child H3212 away, H3243 and nurse H5414 it for me, and I will give H7939 thee thy wages. H802 And the woman H3947 took H3206 the child, H5134 and nursed it.
  10 H3206 And the child H1431 grew, H935 and she brought H6547 him unto Pharaoh's H1323 daughter, H1121 and he became her son. H7121 And she called H8034 his name H4872 Moses, H559 and said, H4871 Because I drew H4325 him out of the water.
  11 H3117 And it came to pass in those days, H4872 when Moses H1431 was grown H3318 up, that he went out H251 unto his brethren, H7200 and looked H5450 on their burdens: H7200 and he saw H4713 an Egyptian H5221 smiting H5680 a Hebrew, H251 one of his brethren.
  12 H6437 And he looked H3541 this way H3541 and that way, H7200 and when he saw H376 that there was no man, H5221 he smote H4713 the Egyptian, H2934 and hid H2344 him in the sand.

  14 H559 And he said, H7760 Who made H376 thee H8269 a prince H8199 and a judge H559 over us? Thinkest H2026 thou to kill H2026 me, as thou killedst H4713 the Egyptian? H4872 And Moses H3372 feared, H559 and said, H403 Surely H1697 the thing H3045 is known.
  15 H6547 Now when Pharaoh H8085 heard H1697 this thing, H1245 he sought H2026 to slay H4872 Moses. H4872 But Moses H1272 fled H6440 from the face H6547 of Pharaoh, H3427 and dwelt H776 in the land H4080 of Midian: H3427 and he sat down H875 by a well.
  16 H3548 Now the priest H4080 of Midian H7651 had seven H1323 daughters: H935 and they came H1802 and drew H4390 water, and filled H7298 the troughs H8248 to water H1 their father's H6629 flock.
  17 H7462 And the shepherds H935 came H1644 and drove them away; H4872 but Moses H6965 stood up H3467 and helped H8248 them, and watered H6629 their flock.
  18 H935 And when they came H7467 to Reuel H1 their father, H559 he said, H4069 How H935 is it that ye are come H4116 so soon H3117 to-day?
  19 H559 And they said, H4713 An Egyptian H5337 delivered H3027 us out of the hand H7462 of the shepherds, H1802 and moreover he drew H1802 water H8248 for us, and watered H6629 the flock.
  20 H559 And he said H1323 unto his daughters, H5800 And where is he? Why is it that ye have left H376 the man? H7121 Call H398 him, that he may eat H3899 bread.
  21 H4872 And Moses H2974 was content H3427 to dwell H376 with the man: H5414 and he gave H4872 Moses H6855 Zipporah H1323 his daughter.
  22 H3205 And she bare H1121 a son, H7121 and he called H8034 his name H1647 Gershom; H559 for he said, H1616 I have been a sojourner H5237 in a foreign H776 land.
  23 H1992 And it came to pass in the course H3117 of those many days, H4428 that the king H4714 of Egypt H4191 died: H1121 and the children H3478 of Israel H584 sighed H4480 by reason of H5656 the bondage, H2199 and they cried, H7775 and their cry H5927 came up H430 unto God H5656 by reason of the bondage.
  24 H430 And God H8085 heard H5009 their groaning, H430 and God H2142 remembered H1285 his covenant H85 with Abraham, H3327 with Isaac, H3290 and with Jacob.
  25 H430 And God H7200 saw H1121 the children H3478 of Israel, H430 and God H3045 took knowledge of them.
