Wycliffe(i) 1 Moises was loued of God and of men; whose mynde is in blessyng. 2 He made him lijk in the glorie of seyntis, and he magnefiede hym in the drede of enemyes; and in his wordis he made peesible the wondris ayens kynde. 3 He glorifiede hym in the siyt of kyngis, and he `comaundide to hym bifore his puple, and schewide his glorie to hym. 4 In the feith and myldenesse of hym God made hym hooli; and chees him of alle men. 5 For he herde hym, and his vois; and ledde in hym in a cloude. 6 And yaf to hym an herte to comaundementis, and to the lawe of lijf, and of techyng; to teche Jacob a testament, and Israel hise domes. 7 He made hiy Aaron, his brother, and lijk hym of the lynage of Leuy. 8 He ordeynede to hym euerlastynge testament, and yaf to hym the preesthod of the folk. And he made hym blissful in glorie, 9 and girte hym with a girdil of riytfulnesse; and clothide hym with a stoole of glorie, and crownede hym in the ournementis of vertu. 10 He settide on hym sandalies, and breeches, and a clooth on the schuldur, and girte hym aboute with ful many small goldun bellis in cumpas; 11 to yyue soun in his goyng, to make soun herd in the temple, in to mynde to the sones of his folk. 12 God yaf to hym an hooli stoole, a wouun werk, with gold, and iacynct, and purpur, the werk of a wijs man, maad riche with doom and treuthe; 13 the werk of a crafti man, in writhun reed threed, with preciouse iemmes grauun in the byndyng of gold, and grauun bi the werk of a crafti man of stoonys, in to mynde, bi the noumbre of the lynagis of Israel. 14 A goldun coroun on his mytre, set forth with the signe of hoolynesse, the glorie of onour, and the werk of vertu, ourned to desijr of iyen. 15 Siche thingis so faire weren not bifore hym, `til to the eest. 16 Noon alien was clothid ther ynne, but oneli hise sones, and hise sones sones aloone, bi al tyme. 17 Hise sacrifices weren endid ech dai bi fyer. 18 Moises fillide hise hondis, and anoyntide hym with hooli oile. 19 It was maad to hym in to euerlastynge testament, and to his seed as the daies of heuene, to vse presthod, and to haue preisyng, and to glorifie his puple in his name. 20 God chees hym of ech lyuynge man, to offre sacrifice to God, encense, and good odour, in to mynde, for to plese for his puple. 21 And he yaf to hym power in hise comaundementis, and in the testamentis of domes, to teche Jacob witnessyngis, and in his lawe to yyue liyt to Israel. 22 For aliens stooden ayens hym, and men that weren with Datan and Abiron, and the congregacioun of Chore, in wrathfulnesse cumpassiden hym for enuye, in desert. 23 The Lord siy, and it pleside not hym; and thei weren wastid in the feersnesse of wrathfulnesse. 24 He made to hem wondris ayens kynde, and in the flawme of fier he wastide hem. 25 And he encreesside glorie to Aaron, and yaf eritage to hym; and he departide to Aaron the firste thingis of fruytis of the erthe. 26 He made redi his breed in the firste thingis, in to fulnesse; for whi and thei shulen ete the sacrifices of the Lord, whiche he yaf to hym, and to his seed. 27 But in the lond of his folk he schal not haue eritage, and no part is to hym among the folk; for whi God is the part and eritage of hym. 28 Fynees, the sone of Eleazarus, was the thridde in glorie, in suynge hym in the drede of God, 29 and to stonde in the reuerence of folk; in the goodnesse and gladnesse of his soule he pleside God of Israel. 30 Therfor God ordeynede to hym the testament of pees, and made hym prince of hooli men, and of his folk; that the dignete of presthod be to hym and to his seed, with outen ende. 31 And the testament of Dauid, the sone of Jesse, of the lynage of Juda, was eritage to hym, and to his seed; that he schulde yyue wisdom in to oure herte, to deme his folk in riytfulnesse, lest her goodis schulen be don awei; and he made the glorie of hem to be euerlastinge, in the folk of hem.
Geneva(i) 1 And Moyses, the beloued of God and men, brought he forth, whose remembrance is blessed. 2 He made him like to the glorious Saints, and magnified him by the feare of his enemies. 3 By his words he caused the wonders to cease, and he made him glorious in the sight of Kings, and gaue him commandements for his people, and shewed him his glory. 4 He sanctified him with faithfulnes, and meekenes, and chose him out of all men. 5 He caused him to heare his voyce, & brought him into the darke cloude, and there he gaue him the commandements before his face, euen the Law of life and knowledge, that he might teach Iacob the couenant, and Israel his iudgements. 6 He exalted Aaron an holy man like vnto him, euen his brother of the tribe of Leui. 7 An euerlasting couenant made he with him, and gaue him the Priesthode among ye people, and made him blessed through his comely ornament, and clothed him with the garment of honour. 8 He put perfect ioy vpon him, and girded him with ornaments of strength, as with breeches, and a tunicle, and an ephod. 9 Hee compassed him about with belles of golde, and with many belles round about, that when he went in, the sound might be heard, and might make a noyse in the Sanctuarie, for a remembrance to the children of Israel his people, 10 And with an holy garment, with golde also, and blue silke, and purple, and diuers kindes of workes, and with a breastlap of iudgement, & with the signes of trueth, 11 And with worke of skarlet cunningly wrought, & with precious stones grauen like seales and set in golde by goldsmithes worke for a memoriall, with a writing grauen after the nomber of the tribes of Israel, 12 And with a crowne of golde vpon the mitre, bearing the forme and marke of holines, an ornament of honour, a noble worke garnished, and pleasant to looke vpon. 13 Before him were there no such faire ornaments: there might no strager put them on, but only his children, and his childrens children perpetually. 14 Their sacrifices were wholy consumed euery day twise continually. 15 Moyses filled his hands, and anointed him with holy oyle: this was appointed vnto him by an euerlasting couenant, & to his seede, so long as the heauens should remaine, that hee should minister before him, and also to execute the office of the Priesthood, and blesse his people in his Name. 16 Before all men liuing the Lorde chose him that he should present offerings before him, and a sweete sauour for a remembrance to make reconciliation for his people. 17 He gaue him also his commandements and authoritie according to the Lawes appointed, that he should teach Iacob the testimonies, and giue light vnto Israel by his Lawe. 18 Strangers stood vp against him, and enuied him in the wildernes, euen the men that tooke Dathans and Abirams part, and the company of Core in furie and rage. 19 This the Lorde sawe, and it displeased him, and in his wrathfull indignation were they consumed: he did wonders vpon them, and consumed them with the firie flame. 20 But he made Aaron more honourable, and gaue him an heritage, and parted the first fruites of the first borne vnto him: vnto him specially he appointed bread in abundance. 21 For the Priests did eate of ye sacrifices of the Lord, which he gaue vnto him and to his seede. 22 Els had he none heritage in the land of his people, neither had he any portion among the people: for the Lord is the portion of his inheritance. 23 The third in glory is Phinees the sonne of Eleazar, because hee had zeale in the feare of the Lorde, and stood vp with good courage of heart, when the people were turned backe, and made reconciliation for Israel. 24 Therefore was there a couenant of peace made with him, that he should be the chiefe of the Sanctuarie and of his people, and that hee and his posteritie shoulde haue the dignitie of the Priesthood for euer, 25 And according to the couenant made with Dauid, that the inheritance of the kingdome should remaine to his sonne of the tribe of Iuda: so the heritage of Aaron should be to the onely sonne of his sonne, and to his seede. God giue vs wisdome in our heart to iudge his people in righteousnesse, that the good things that they haue, be not abolished, and that their glory may endure for their posteritie.
Bishops(i) 1 Moyses beloued of God & men, whose remembraunce is in hie prayse: 2 Hym that the Lorde made like in the glorie of the sainctes, & magnified him, so that the enemies stoode in awe of him. 3 Through his wordes he did great wonders: he made hym glorious in the sight of kinges, gaue him commaundement before his people, and shewed him glorious power. 4 He stablished hym with faythfulnesse and mekenesse, and chose him out of all men. 5 For he hearde his voyce, and he led hym in the darke cloude, and there he gaue him the commaundementes, yea the law of life and wysdome: that he might teach Iacob the couenaunt and Israel his lawes. 6 He chose Aaron his brother also out of the tribe of Leui, exalted him, and made hym such like. 7 An euerlasting couenaunt made he with him, and gaue hym the priesthod in the people: He made him glorious in beautifull aray, and clothed him with the garment of honour. 8 He put perfect ioy vpon him, and girded hym with strength, he deckt hym with side clothes and a tunicle, with an ouerbody coate also, and a girdle. 9 Round about made he hym belles of golde, and that many: that when he went int, he sounde might be heard, that they might make a noyse in the sanctuarie, and geue the people warning. 10 The holy garment was wrought and bordered with golde, yelow silke, and purple: and in the brestlappe there was a goodly worke, wherin was fastened light and perfectnesse. 11 Upon the same also there was a worke fastened and set with costly precious stones all bound with golde, and this he brought in his ministration: The stones were fastened for a remembraunce, after the number of the twelue tribes of Israel. 12 Upon his miter there was a plate of pure gold, a grauen image of holinesse, a famous and noble worke, garnished, and pleasaunt to loke vpon. 13 Before hym were there seene no such faire ornamentes, & these it behoued him alway to vse: There might none other put them on, but onely his children, and his childers children perpetually. 14 Dayly perfourmed he his burnt offeringes two times. 15 Moyses filled his handes, & annoynted him with holy oyle: This was now confirmed him with an euerlasting couenaunt, and to his seede as the dayes of heauen: namely, that his children should alway minister before him, & perfourme the office of the priesthood, and wyshe the people good in his name. 16 Before al men lyuing chose he him, that he shoulde offer incense before the Lord, and make odours for a sweete sauour and remembraunce, that he should reconcile the people of the Lord with hym agayne. 17 He gaue him auctoritie also in his commaundementes and in the couenaunt, that he should teach Iacob the statutes and testimonies, and to enfourme Israel in the lawe. 18 Therfore there stoode vp certayne against him, and had enuie at him in the wildernesse: namely they that were of Dathan and Abirons side, and the furious congregation of Core. 19 This the Lorde saw, and it displeased hym, and in his wrathfull indignation were they consumed: A great wonder did he vpon them, and consumed them with the fire. 20 Besides this, he made Aaron yet more honorable and glorious, he gaue hym an heritage, & parted the first fruites vnto him: Unto him specially he appoynted the bread of sustenaunce, 21 For the priestes dyd eate of the offeringes of the Lorde: this gaue he vnto him and his seede. 22 Els had he no heritage nor portion in the land & with the people: for the Lord him selfe is his portion & inheritaunce. 23 The thirde noble and excellent man, is Phinehes the sonne of Eleazer, which pleased the God of Israel, because he had the zeale and feare of the Lord: For when the people were turned backe, he put him selfe foorth right soone, and that with a good will, to pacifie the wrath of the Lord towarde Israel. 24 Therfore was there a couenaunt of peace made with him, that he should be the principall among the righteous in the people, that he and his posteritie shoulde haue the office of the priesthood for euer. 25 Like as there was made a couenaunt with Dauid of the tribe of Iuda, that from among his sonnes only there shoulde be a king: and that Aaron also and his seede should be an heritage, to geue vs wysdome in our heart, to iudge his people in righteousnesse, that his goodes shoulde not come into forgetfulnesse, and that their honour might endure for euer.
DouayRheims(i) 1 MOSES was beloved of God, and men: whose memory is in benediction. 2 He made him like the saints in glory, and magnified him in the fear of his enemies, and with his words he made prodigies to cease. 3 He glorified him in the sight of kings, and gave him commandments in the sight of his people, and shewed him his glory. 4 He sanctified him in his faith, and meekness, and chose him out of all flesh. 5 For he heard him, and his voice, and brought him into a cloud. 6 And he gave him commandments before his face, and a law of life and instruction, that he might teach Jacob his covenant, and Israel his judgments. 7 He exalted Aaron his brother, and like to himself of the tribe of Levi: 8 He made an everlasting covenant with him, and gave him the priesthood of the nation, and made him blessed in glory, 9 And he girded him about with a glorious girdle, and clothed him with a robe of glory, and crowned him with majestic attire. 10 He put upon him a garment to the feet, and breeches, and as ephod, and he compassed him with many little bells of gold all round about, 11 That as he went there might be a sound, and a noise made that might be heard in the temple, for a memorial to the children of his people. 12 He gave him a holy robe of gold, and blue, and purple, a woven work of a wise man, endued with judgment and truth: 13 Of twisted scarlet the work of an artist, with precious stones cut and set in gold, and graven by the work of a lapidary for a memorial, according to the number of the tribes of Israel. 14 And a crown of gold upon his mitre wherein was engraved Holiness, an ornament of honour: a work of power, and delightful to the eyes for its beauty. 15 Before him there were none so beautiful, even from the beginning. 16 No stranger was ever clothed with them, but only his children alone, and his grandchildren for ever. 17 His sacrifices were consumed with fire every day. 18 Moses filled his hands and anointed him with holy oil. 19 This was made to him for an everlasting testament, and to his seed as the days of heaven, to execute the office of the priesthood, and to have praise, and to glorify his people in his name. 20 He chose him out of all men living, to offer sacrifice to God, incense, and a good savour, for a memorial to make reconciliation for his people: 21 And he gave him power in his commandments, in the covenants of his judgments, that he should teach Jacob his testimonies, and give light to Israel in his law. 22 And strangers stood up against him, and through envy the men that were with Dathan and Abiron, compassed him about in the wilderness, and the congregation of Core in their wrath. 23 The Lord God saw and it pleased him not, and they were consumed in his wrathful indignation. 24 He wrought wonders upon them, and consumed them with a flame of fire. 25 And he added glory to Aaron, and gave him an inheritance, and divided unto him the firstfruits of the increase of the earth. 26 He prepared them bread in the first place unto fulness: for the sacrifices also of the Lord they shall eat, which he gave to him, and to his seed. 27 But he shall not inherit among the people in the land, and he hath no portion among the people: for he himself is his portion and inheritance. 28 Phinees the son of Eleazar is the third in glory, by imitating him in the fear of the Lord: 29 And he stood up in the shameful fall of the people: in the goodness and readiness of his soul he appeased God for Israel. 30 Therefore he made to him a covenant of peace, to be the prince of the sanctuary, and of his people, that the dignity of priesthood should be to him and to his seed for ever. 31 And a covenant to David the king, the son of Jesse of the tribe of Juda, an inheritance to him and to his seed, that he might give wisdom into our heart to judge his people in justice, that their good things might not be abolished, and he made their glory in their nation everlasting.
KJV(i) 1 And he brought out of him a merciful man, which found favour in the sight of all flesh, even Moses, beloved of God and men, whose memorial is blessed. 2 He made him like to the glorious saints, and magnified him, so that his enemies stood in fear of him. 3 By his words he caused the wonders to cease, and he made him glorious in the sight of kings, and gave him a commandment for his people, and shewed him part of his glory. 4 He sanctified him in his faithfuless and meekness, and chose him out of all men. 5 He made him to hear his voice, and brought him into the dark cloud, and gave him commandments before his face, even the law of life and knowledge, that he might teach Jacob his covenants, and Israel his judgments. 6 He exalted Aaron, an holy man like unto him, even his brother, of the tribe of Levi. 7 An everlasting covenant he made with him and gave him the priesthood among the people; he beautified him with comely ornaments, and clothed him with a robe of glory. 8 He put upon him perfect glory; and strengthened him with rich garments, with breeches, with a long robe, and the ephod. 9 And he compassed him with pomegranates, and with many golden bells round about, that as he went there might be a sound, and a noise made that might be heard in the temple, for a memorial to the children of his people; 10 With an holy garment, with gold, and blue silk, and purple, the work of the embroidere, with a breastplate of judgment, and with Urim and Thummim; 11 With twisted scarlet, the work of the cunning workman, with precious stones graven like seals, and set in gold, the work of the jeweller, with a writing engraved for a memorial, after the number of the tribes of Israel. 12 He set a crown of gold upon the mitre, wherein was engraved Holiness, an ornament of honour, a costly work, the desires of the eyes, goodly and beautiful. 13 Before him there were none such, neither did ever any stranger put them on, but only his children and his children's children perpetually. 14 Their sacrifices shall be wholly consumed every day twice continually. 15 Moses consecrated him, and anointed him with holy oil: this was appointed unto him by an everlasting covenant, and to his seed, so long as the heavens should remain, that they should minister unto him, and execute the office of the priesthood, and bless the people in his name. 16 He chose him out of all men living to offer sacrifices to the Lord, incense, and a sweet savour, for a memorial, to make reconciliation for his people. 17 He gave unto him his commandments, and authority in the statutes of judgments, that he should teach Jacob the testimonies, and inform Israel in his laws. 18 Strangers conspired together against him, and maligned him in the wilderness, even the men that were of Dathan's and Abiron's side, and the congregation of Core, with fury and wrath. 19 This the Lord saw, and it displeased him, and in his wrathful indignation were they consumed: he did wonders upon them, to consume them with the fiery flame. 20 But he made Aaron more honourable, and gave him an heritage, and divided unto him the firstfruits of the increase; especially he prepared bread in abundance: 21 For they eat of the sacrifices of the Lord, which he gave unto him and his seed. 22 Howbeit in the land of the people he had no inheritance, neither had he any portion among the people: for the Lord himself is his portion and inheritance. 23 The third in glory is Phinees the son of Eleazar, because he had zeal in the fear of the Lord, and stood up with good courage of heart: when the people were turned back, and made reconciliation for Israel. 24 Therefore was there a covenant of peace made with him, that he should be the chief of the sanctuary and of his people, and that he and his posterity should have the dignity of the priesthood for ever: 25 According to the covenant made with David son of Jesse, of the tribe of Juda, that the inheritance of the king should be to his posterity alone: so the inheritance of Aaron should also be unto his seed. 26 God give you wisdom in your heart to judge his people in righteousness, that their good things be not abolished, and that their glory may endure for ever.

ERV(i) 1 And he brought out of him a man of mercy, Which found favour in the sight of all flesh; A man beloved of God and men, even Moses, Whose memorial is blessed. 2 He made him like to the glory of the saints, And magnified him in the fears of his enemies. 3 By his words he caused the wonders to cease; He glorified him in the sight of kings; He gave him commandment for his people, And shewed him part of his glory. 4 He sanctified him in his faithfulness and meekness; He chose him out of all flesh. 5 He made him to hear his voice, And led him into the thick darkness, And gave him commandments face to face, Even the law of life and knowledge, That he might teach Jacob the covenant, And Israel his judgments. 6 He exalted Aaron, a holy man like unto him, Even his brother, of the tribe of Levi. 7 He established for him an everlasting covenant, And gave him the priesthood of the people; He beautified him with comely ornaments, And girded him about with a robe of glory. 8 He clothed him with the perfection of exultation; And strengthened him with apparel of honour, The linen breeches, the long robe, and the ephod. 9 And he compassed him with pomegranates of gold, [And] with many bells round about, To send forth a sound as he went, To make a sound that might be heard in the temple, For a memorial to the children of his people; 10 With a holy garment, with gold and blue and purple, the work of the embroiderer, With an oracle of judgement, [even] with the Urim and Thummim; 11 With twisted scarlet, the work of the craftsman; With precious stones graven like a signet, in a setting of gold, the work of the jeweller, For a memorial engraved in writing, after the number of the tribes of Israel; 12 With a crown of gold upon the mitre, having graven on it, as on a signet, HOLINESS, An ornament of honour, a work of might, The desires of the eyes, goodly and beautiful. 13 Before him there never have been any such; No stranger put them on, but his sons only, and his offspring perpertually. 14 His sacrifices shall be wholly consumed Every day twice continually. 15 Moses consecrated him, And anointed him with holy oil: It was unto him for an everlasting covenant, And to his seed, all the days of heaven, To minister unto him, and to execute also the priest’s office, And bless his people in his name. 16 He chose him out of all living To offer sacrifice to the Lord, Incense, and a sweet savour, for a memorial, To make reconciliation for thy people. 17 He gave unto him in his commandments, [Yea,] authority in the covenants of judgements, To teach Jacob the testimonies, And to enlighten Israel in his law. 18 Strangers gathered themselves together against him, And envied him in the wilderness, [Even] Dathan and Abiram with their company, And the congregation of Korah, with wrath and anger. 19 The Lord saw it, and it displeased him; And in the wrath of his anger they were destroyed: He did wonders upon them, To consume them with flaming fire. 20 And he added glory to Aaron, And gave him a heritage: He divided unto him the firstfruits of the increase; [And] first did he prepare bread in abundance: 21 For they shall eat the sacrifices of the Lord, Which he gave unto him and to his seed. 22 Howbeit in the land of the people he shall have no inheritance, And he hath no portion among the people: For he himself is thy portion [and] inheritance. 23 And Phinehas the son of Eleazar is the third in glory, In that he was zealous in the fear of the Lord, And stood fast in the good forwardness of his soul when the people turned away, And he made reconciliation for Israel. 24 Therefore was there a covenant of peace established for him, [That he should be] leader of the saints and of his people; That he and his seed Should have the dignity of the priesthood for ever. 25 Also [he made] a covenant with David the son of Jesse, of the tribe of Judah; The inheritance of the king is his alone from son to son; So the inheritance of Aaron is also unto his seed. 26 [God] give you wisdom in your heart To judge his people in righteousness, That their good things be not abolished, And [that] their glory [endure] for all their generations.

LXX2012(i) 2 He made him like to the glorious saints, and magnified him, so that his enemies stood in fear of him. 3 By his words he caused the wonders to cease, and he made him glorious in the sight of kings, and gave him a commandment for his people, and showed him part of his glory. 4 He sanctified him in his faithfulness and meekness, and chose him out of all men. 5 He made him to hear his voice, and brought him into the dark cloud, and gave him commandments before his face, even the law of life and knowledge, that he might teach Jacob his covenants, and Israel his judgments. 6 He exalted Aaron, an holy man like to him, even his brother, of the tribe of Levi. 7 An everlasting covenant he made with him and gave him the priesthood among the people; he beautified him with comely ornaments, and clothed him with a robe of glory. 8 He put upon him perfect glory; and strengthened him with rich garments, with breeches, with a long robe, and the ephod. 9 And he compassed him with pomegranates, and with many golden bells round about, that as he went there might be a sound, and a noise made that might be heard in the temple, for a memorial to the children of his people; 10 With an holy garment, with gold, and blue silk, and purple, the work of the embroiderer, with a breastplate of judgment, and with Urim and Thummim; 11 With twisted scarlet, the work of the cunning workman, with precious stones graven like seals, and set in gold, the work of the jeweller, with a writing engraved for a memorial, after the number of the tribes of Israel. 12 He set a crown of gold upon the mitre, wherein was engraved Holiness, an ornament of honor, a costly work, the desires of the eyes, goodly and beautiful. 13 Before him there were none such, neither did ever any stranger put them on, but only his children and his children's children perpetually. 14 Their sacrifices shall be wholly consumed every day twice continually. 15 Moses consecrated him, and anointed him with holy oil: this was appointed to him by an everlasting covenant, and to his seed, so long as the heavens should remain, that they should minister to him, and execute the office of the priesthood, and bless the people in his name. 16 He chose him out of all men living to offer sacrifices to the Lord, incense, and a sweet savor, for a memorial, to make reconciliation for his people. 17 He gave to him his commandments, and authority in the statutes of judgments, that he should teach Jacob the testimonies, and inform Israel in his laws. 20 But he made Aaron more honorable, and gave him an heritage, and divided to him the first fruits of the increase; especially he prepared bread in abundance: 21 For they eat of the sacrifices of the Lord, which he gave to him and his seed. 24 Therefore was there a covenant of peace made with him, that he should be the chief of the sanctuary and of his people, and that he and his posterity should have the dignity of the priesthood for ever: 25 According to the covenant made with David son of Jesse, of the tribe of Juda, that the inheritance of the king should be to his posterity alone: so the inheritance of Aaron should also be to his seed. 26 God give you wisdom in your heart to judge his people in righteousness, that their good things be not abolished, and that their glory may endure for ever.
