Italian⁽ⁱ⁾ ² Così ha detto il Signore: Quelli che dimoreranno in questa città morranno di spada, di fame, e di pestilenza; ma chi se ne uscirà a’ Caldei viverà; e l’anima sua gli sarà per ispoglia, ed egli viverà. ³ Così ha detto il Signore: Questa città sarà per certo data in man dell’esercito del re di Babilonia, ed esso la prenderà. ⁴ E i principi dissero al re: Deh! facciasi morir quest’uomo; perciocchè egli rende rimesse le mani della gente di guerra, che è restata in questa città, e le mani di tutto il popolo; tenendo loro cotali ragionamenti; conciossiachè quest’uomo non procacci punto la prosperità di questo popolo, anzi il male.

Jis neieško tautos gerovės, bet neša nelaimę jai”.
