  2 H1697 And the word H3068 of the LORD H559 came unto me, saying [H8800]  ,
  3 H1121 Son H120 of man H582 , these men H5927 have set up [H8689]   H1544 their idols H3820 in their heart H5414 , and put [H8804]   H4383 the stumblingblock H5771 of their iniquity H5227 before H6440 their face H1875 : should I be enquired [H8735]   H1875 of at all [H8736]   by them?
  4 H1696 Therefore speak [H8761]   H559 unto them, and say [H8804]   H559 unto them, Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H376 ; Every man H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel H5927 that setteth up [H8686]   H1544 his idols H3820 in his heart H7760 , and putteth [H8799]   H4383 the stumblingblock H5771 of his iniquity H5227 before H6440 his face H935 , and cometh [H8804]   H5030 to the prophet H3068 ; I the LORD H6030 will answer [H8738]   H935 him that cometh [H8804]   H7230 according to the multitude H1544 of his idols;
  5 H8610 That I may take [H8800]   H1004 the house H3478 of Israel H3820 in their own heart H2114 , because they are all estranged [H8738]   H1544 from me through their idols.
  6 H559 Therefore say [H8798]   H1004 unto the house H3478 of Israel H559 , Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H7725 ; Repent [H8798]   H7725 , and turn [H8685]   H1544 yourselves from your idols H7725 ; and turn away [H8685]   H6440 your faces H8441 from all your abominations.
  7 H376 For every one H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel H1616 , or of the stranger H1481 that sojourneth [H8799]   H3478 in Israel H5144 , which separateth [H8735]   H310 himself from me H5927 , and setteth up [H8799]   H1544 his idols H3820 in his heart H7760 , and putteth [H8799]   H4383 the stumblingblock H5771 of his iniquity H5227 before H6440 his face H935 , and cometh [H8804]   H5030 to a prophet H1875 to enquire [H8800]   H3068 of him concerning me; I the LORD H6030 will answer [H8737]   him by myself:
  8 H5414 And I will set [H8804]   H6440 my face H376 against that man H8074 , and will make [H8689]   H226 him a sign H4912 and a proverb H3772 , and I will cut him off [H8689]   H8432 from the midst H5971 of my people H3045 ; and ye shall know [H8804]   H3068 that I am the LORD.
  9 H5030 And if the prophet H6601 be deceived [H8792]   H1696 when he hath spoken [H8765]   H1697 a thing H3068 , I the LORD H6601 have deceived [H8765]   H5030 that prophet H5186 , and I will stretch out [H8804]   H3027 my hand H8045 upon him, and will destroy [H8689]   H8432 him from the midst H5971 of my people H3478 Israel.
  10 H5375 And they shall bear [H8804]   H5771 the punishment of their iniquity H5771 : the punishment H5030 of the prophet H5771 shall be even as the punishment H1875 of him that seeketh [H8802]   unto him;
  11 H1004 That the house H3478 of Israel H8582 may go no more astray [H8799]   H310 from me H2930 , neither be polluted [H8691]   H6588 any more with all their transgressions H5971 ; but that they may be my people H430 , and I may be their God H5002 , saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD.
  12 H1697 The word H3068 of the LORD H559 came again to me, saying [H8800]  ,
  13 H1121 Son H120 of man H776 , when the land H2398 sinneth [H8799]   H4603 against me by trespassing [H8800]   H4604 grievously H5186 , then will I stretch out [H8804]   H3027 mine hand H7665 upon it, and will break [H8804]   H4294 the staff H3899 of the bread H7971 thereof, and will send [H8689]   H7458 famine H3772 upon it, and will cut off [H8689]   H120 man H929 and beast from it:
  14 H7969 Though these three H582 men H5146 , Noah H1840 , Daniel H347 , and Job H8432 , were in it H5337 , they should deliver [H8762]   H5315 but their own souls H6666 by their righteousness H5002 , saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD.
  15 H3863 If H7451 I cause noisome H2416 beasts H5674 to pass through [H8686]   H776 the land H7921 , and they spoil [H8765]   H8077 it, so that it be desolate H5674 , that no man may pass through [H8802]   H6440 because H2416 of the beasts:
  16 H7969 Though these three H582 men H8432 were in it H2416 , as I live H5002 , saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H5337 , they shall deliver [H8686]   H1121 neither sons H1323 nor daughters H5337 ; they only shall be delivered [H8735]   H776 , but the land H8077 shall be desolate.
  17 H935 Or if I bring [H8686]   H2719 a sword H776 upon that land H559 , and say [H8804]   H2719 , Sword H5674 , go through [H8799]   H776 the land H3772 ; so that I cut off [H8689]   H120 man H929 and beast from it:
  18 H7969 Though these three H582 men H8432 were in it H2416 , as I live H5002 , saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H5337 , they shall deliver [H8686]   H1121 neither sons H1323 nor daughters H5337 , but they only shall be delivered [H8735]   themselves.
  19 H7971 Or if I send [H8762]   H1698 a pestilence H776 into that land H8210 , and pour out [H8804]   H2534 my fury H1818 upon it in blood H3772 , to cut off [H8687]   H120 from it man H929 and beast:
  20 H5146 Though Noah H1840 , Daniel H347 , and Job H8432 , were in it H2416 , as I live H5002 , saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H5337 , they shall deliver [H8686]   H1121 neither son H518 nor H1323 daughter H5337 ; they shall but deliver [H8686]   H5315 their own souls H6666 by their righteousness.
  21 H559 For thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H7971 ; How much more when I send [H8765]   H702 my four H7451 sore H8201 judgments H3389 upon Jerusalem H2719 , the sword H7458 , and the famine H7451 , and the noisome H2416 beast H1698 , and the pestilence H3772 , to cut off [H8687]   H120 from it man H929 and beast?
  22 H3498 Yet, behold, therein shall be left [H8738]   H6413 a remnant H3318 that shall be brought forth [H8716]   H1121 , both sons H1323 and daughters H3318 : behold, they shall come forth [H8802]   H7200 unto you, and ye shall see [H8804]   H1870 their way H5949 and their doings H5162 : and ye shall be comforted [H8738]   H7451 concerning the evil H935 that I have brought [H8689]   H3389 upon Jerusalem H935 , even concerning all that I have brought [H8689]   upon it.
  23 H5162 And they shall comfort [H8765]   H7200 you, when ye see [H8799]   H1870 their ways H5949 and their doings H3045 : and ye shall know [H8804]   H6213 that I have not done [H8804]   H2600 without cause H6213 all that I have done [H8804]   H5002 in it, saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD.

  4 H3651 לכן Therefore H1696 דבר speak H853 אותם   H559 ואמרת unto them, and say H413 אליהם unto H3541 כה them, Thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H376 אישׁ   H376 אישׁ   H1004 מבית of the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 אשׁר that H5927 יעלה setteth up H853 את   H1544 גלוליו his idols H413 אל in H3820 לבו his heart, H4383 ומכשׁול the stumblingblock H5771 עונו of his iniquity H7760 ישׂים and putteth H5227 נכח before H6440 פניו his face, H935 ובא and cometh H413 אל to H5030 הנביא the prophet; H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD H6030 נעניתי will answer H7230 לו בה ברב according to the multitude H1544 גלוליו׃ of his idols;
  5 H4616 למען That H8610 תפשׂ I may take H853 את   H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3820 בלבם in their own heart, H834 אשׁר because H2114 נזרו estranged H5921 מעלי from H1544 בגלוליהם me through their idols. H3605 כלם׃ they are all
  6 H3651 לכן Therefore H559 אמר say H413 אל unto H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H7725 שׁובו Repent, H7725 והשׁיבו and turn H5921 מעל from H1544 גלוליכם your idols; H5921 ומעל from H3605 כל all H8441 תועבתיכם your abominations. H7725 השׁיבו and turn away H6440 פניכם׃ your faces
  7 H3588 כי For H376 אישׁ every one H376 אישׁ every one H1004 מבית of the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H1616 ומהגר or of the stranger H834 אשׁר that H1481 יגור sojourneth H3478 בישׂראל in Israel, H5144 וינזר which separateth himself H310 מאחרי from H5927 ויעל me, and setteth up H1544 גלוליו his idols H413 אל in H3820 לבו his heart, H4383 ומכשׁול the stumblingblock H5771 עונו of his iniquity H7760 ישׂים and putteth H5227 נכח before H6440 פניו his face, H935 ובא and cometh H413 אל to H5030 הנביא a prophet H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H589 לו בי אני of him concerning me; I H3068 יהוה the LORD H6030 נענה will answer
  8 H5414 ונתתי And I will set H6440 פני my face H376 באישׁ man, H1931 ההוא against that H8074 והשׂמתיהו   H226 לאות him a sign H4912 ולמשׁלים and a proverb, H3772 והכרתיו and I will cut him off H8432 מתוך from the midst H5971 עמי of my people; H3045 וידעתם and ye shall know H3588 כי that H589 אני I H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
  9 H5030 והנביא the prophet H3588 כי And if H6601 יפתה be deceived H1696 ודבר when he hath spoken H1697 דבר a thing, H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD H6601 פתיתי have deceived H853 את   H5030 הנביא prophet, H1931 ההוא that H5186 ונטיתי and I will stretch out H853 את   H3027 ידי my hand H5921 עליו upon H8045 והשׁמדתיו him, and will destroy H8432 מתוך him from the midst H5971 עמי of my people H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel.
  10 H5375 ונשׂאו And they shall bear H5771 עונם the punishment of their iniquity: H5771 כעון the punishment H1875 הדרשׁ of him that seeketh H5771 כעון even as the punishment H5030 הנביא of the prophet H1961 יהיה׃ shall be
  11 H4616 למען That H3808 לא may go no H8582 יתעו astray H5750 עוד more H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H310 מאחרי from H3808 ולא me, neither H2930 יטמאו be polluted H5750 עוד any more H3605 בכל with all H6588 פשׁעיהם their transgressions; H1961 והיו but that they may be H5971 לי לעם my people, H589 ואני and I H1961 אהיה may be H430 להם לאלהים their God, H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה׃ GOD.
  12 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר The word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי again to H559 לאמר׃ me, saying,
  13 H1121 בן Son H120 אדם of man, H776 ארץ the land H3588 כי when H2398 תחטא sinneth H4603 לי למעל against me by trespassing H4604 מעל grievously, H5186 ונטיתי then will I stretch out H3027 ידי mine hand H5921 עליה upon H7665 ושׁברתי it, and will break H4294 לה מטה the staff H3899 לחם of the bread H7971 והשׁלחתי thereof, and will send H7458 בה רעב famine H3772 והכרתי upon it, and will cut off H4480 ממנה from H120 אדם man H929 ובהמה׃ and beast
  14 H1961 והיו were H7969 שׁלשׁת three H582 האנשׁים   H428 האלה Though these H8432 בתוכה in H5146 נח Noah, H1840 דנאל Daniel, H347 ואיוב and Job, H1992 המה it, they H6666 בצדקתם by their righteousness, H5337 ינצלו should deliver H5315 נפשׁם their own souls H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3068 יהוה׃  
  15 H3863 לו If H2416 חיה beasts H7451 רעה I cause noisome H5674 אעביר to pass H776 בארץ through the land, H7921 ושׁכלתה and they spoil H1961 והיתה it, so that it be H8077 שׁממה desolate, H1097 מבלי that no man H5674 עובר may pass through H6440 מפני because H2416 החיה׃ of the beasts:
  16 H7969 שׁלשׁת three H376 האנשׁים men H428 האלה these H8432 בתוכה in H2416 חי live, H589 אני it, I H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD, H518 אם neither H1121 בנים sons H518 ואם nor H1323 בנות daughters; H5337 יצילו shall deliver H1992 המה they H905 לבדם they only H5337 ינצלו shall be delivered, H776 והארץ but the land H1961 תהיה shall be H8077 שׁממה׃ desolate.
  17 H176 או Or H2719 חרב a sword H935 אביא I bring H5921 על upon H776 הארץ land, H1931 ההיא that H559 ואמרתי and say, H2719 חרב Sword, H5674 תעבר go H776 בארץ through the land; H3772 והכרתי so that I cut off H4480 ממנה from H120 אדם man H929 ובהמה׃ and beast
  18 H7969 ושׁלשׁת three H376 האנשׁים men H428 האלה Though these H8432 בתוכה in H2416 חי live, H589 אני it, I H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD, H3808 לא neither H5337 יצילו they shall deliver H1121 בנים sons H1323 ובנות nor daughters, H3588 כי but H1992 הם they H905 לבדם only H5337 ינצלו׃ shall be delivered themselves.
  19 H176 או Or H1698 דבר a pestilence H7971 אשׁלח I send H413 אל into H776 הארץ land, H1931 ההיא that H8210 ושׁפכתי and pour out H2534 חמתי my fury H5921 עליה upon H1818 בדם it in blood, H3772 להכרית to cut off H4480 ממנה from H120 אדם it man H929 ובהמה׃ and beast:
  20 H5146 ונח Though Noah, H1840 דנאל Daniel, H347 ואיוב and Job, H8432 בתוכה in H2416 חי live, H589 אני it, I H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD, H518 אם neither H1121 בן son H518 אם nor H1323 בת daughter; H5337 יצילו shall deliver H1992 המה they H6666 בצדקתם by their righteousness. H5337 יצילו they shall deliver H5315 נפשׁם׃ their own souls
  21 H3588 כי For H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H637 אף How much more H3588 כי when H702 ארבעת my four H8201 שׁפטי judgments H7451 הרעים sore H2719 חרב the sword, H7458 ורעב and the famine, H2416 וחיה beast, H7451 רעה and the noisome H1698 ודבר and the pestilence, H7971 שׁלחתי I send H413 אל upon H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem, H3772 להכרית to cut off H4480 ממנה from H120 אדם it man H929 ובהמה׃ and beast?
  22 H2009 והנה Yet, behold, H3498 נותרה therein shall be left H6413 בה פלטה a remnant H3318 המוצאים that shall be brought forth, H1121 בנים sons H1323 ובנות and daughters: H2005 הנם   H3318 יוצאים they shall come forth H413 אליכם unto H7200 וראיתם you, and ye shall see H853 את   H1870 דרכם their way H853 ואת   H5949 עלילותם and their doings: H5162 ונחמתם and ye shall be comforted H5921 על concerning H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר that H935 הבאתי I have brought H5921 על upon H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem, H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H935 הבאתי I have brought H5921 עליה׃ upon
  23 H5162 ונחמו And they shall comfort H853 אתכם   H3588 כי you, when H7200 תראו ye see H853 את   H1870 דרכם their ways H853 ואת   H5949 עלילותם and their doings: H3045 וידעתם and ye shall know H3588 כי that H3808 לא I have not H2600 חנם without cause H6213 עשׂיתי done H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂיתי I have done H5002 בה נאם in it, saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה׃ GOD.
