Numbers 34 And the LORD spake unto Moses , saying ,

1 H3068 And the LORD H1696 spake [H8762] H4872 unto Moses H559 , saying [H8800] ,

2 H6680 Command [H8761] H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H559 , and say [H8804] H935 unto them, When ye come [H8802] H776 into the land H3667 of Canaan H776 ; (this is the land H5307 that shall fall [H8799] H5159 unto you for an inheritance H776 , even the land H3667 of Canaan H1367 with the coasts thereof:)

3 H5045 Then your south H6285 quarter H4057 shall be from the wilderness H6790 of Zin H3027 along by the coast H123 of Edom H5045 , and your south H1366 border H7097 shall be the outmost coast H4417 of the salt H3220 sea H6924 eastward:

4 H1366 And your border H5437 shall turn [H8738] H5045 from the south H4608 to the ascent H4610 of Akrabbim H5674 , and pass on [H8804] H6790 to Zin H8444 : and the going forth H5045 thereof shall be from the south H6947 to Kadeshbarnea H3318 , and shall go on [H8804] H2692 to Hazaraddar H5674 , and pass on [H8804] H6111 to Azmon:

5 H1366 And the border H5437 shall fetch a compass [H8738] H6111 from Azmon H5158 unto the river H4714 of Egypt H8444 , and the goings out H3220 of it shall be at the sea.

6 H3220 And as for the western H1366 border H1419 , ye shall even have the great H3220 sea H1366 for a border H3220 : this shall be your west H1366 border.

7 H6828 And this shall be your north H1366 border H1419 : from the great H3220 sea H8376 ye shall point out [H8762] H2022 for you mount H2023 Hor:

8 H2022 From mount H2023 Hor H8376 ye shall point out [H8762] H935 your border unto the entrance [H8800] H2574 of Hamath H8444 ; and the goings forth H1366 of the border H6657 shall be to Zedad:

9 H1366 And the border H3318 shall go on [H8804] H2202 to Ziphron H8444 , and the goings out H2704 of it shall be at Hazarenan H6828 : this shall be your north H1366 border.

10 H184 And ye shall point out [H8694] H6924 your east H1366 border H2704 from Hazarenan H8221 to Shepham:

11 H1366 And the coast H3381 shall go down [H8804] H8221 from Shepham H7247 to Riblah H6924 , on the east side H5871 of Ain H1366 ; and the border H3381 shall descend [H8804] H4229 , and shall reach [H8804] H3802 unto the side H3220 of the sea H3672 of Chinnereth H6924 eastward:

12 H1366 And the border H3381 shall go down [H8804] H3383 to Jordan H8444 , and the goings out H4417 of it shall be at the salt H3220 sea H776 : this shall be your land H1367 with the coasts H5439 thereof round about.

13 H4872 And Moses H6680 commanded [H8762] H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H559 , saying [H8800] H776 , This is the land H5157 which ye shall inherit [H8691] H1486 by lot H3068 , which the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H5414 to give [H8800] H8672 unto the nine H4294 tribes H2677 , and to the half H4294 tribe:

14 H4294 For the tribe H1121 of the children H7206 of Reuben H1004 according to the house H1 of their fathers H4294 , and the tribe H1121 of the children H1425 of Gad H1004 according to the house H1 of their fathers H3947 , have received [H8804] H2677 their inheritance; and half H4294 the tribe H4519 of Manasseh H3947 have received [H8804] H5159 their inheritance:

15 H8147 The two H4294 tribes H2677 and the half H4294 tribe H3947 have received [H8804] H5159 their inheritance H5676 on this side H3383 Jordan H3405 near Jericho H6924 eastward H4217 , toward the sunrising.

16 H3068 And the LORD H1696 spake [H8762] H4872 unto Moses H559 , saying [H8800] ,

17 H8034 These are the names H582 of the men H5157 which shall divide [H8799] H776 the land H499 unto you: Eleazar H3548 the priest H3091 , and Joshua H1121 the son H5126 of Nun.

18 H3947 And ye shall take [H8799] H259 one H5387 prince H4294 of every tribe H5157 , to divide H776 the land H5157 by inheritance [H8800] .

19 H8034 And the names H582 of the men H4294 are these: Of the tribe H3063 of Judah H3612 , Caleb H1121 the son H3312 of Jephunneh.

20 H4294 And of the tribe H1121 of the children H8095 of Simeon H8050 , Shemuel H1121 the son H5989 of Ammihud.

21 H4294 Of the tribe H1144 of Benjamin H449 , Elidad H1121 the son H3692 of Chislon.

22 H5387 And the prince H4294 of the tribe H1121 of the children H1835 of Dan H1231 , Bukki H1121 the son H3020 of Jogli.

23 H5387 The prince H1121 of the children H3130 of Joseph H4294 , for the tribe H1121 of the children H4519 of Manasseh H2592 , Hanniel H1121 the son H641 of Ephod.

24 H5387 And the prince H4294 of the tribe H1121 of the children H669 of Ephraim H7055 , Kemuel H1121 the son H8204 of Shiphtan.

25 H5387 And the prince H4294 of the tribe H1121 of the children H2074 of Zebulun H469 , Elizaphan H1121 the son H6535 of Parnach.

26 H5387 And the prince H4294 of the tribe H1121 of the children H3485 of Issachar H6409 , Paltiel H1121 the son H5821 of Azzan.

27 H5387 And the prince H4294 of the tribe H1121 of the children H836 of Asher H282 , Ahihud H1121 the son H8015 of Shelomi.

28 H5387 And the prince H4294 of the tribe H1121 of the children H5321 of Naphtali H6300 , Pedahel H1121 the son H5989 of Ammihud.

29 H3068 These are they whom the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H5157 to divide the inheritance [H8763] H1121 unto the children H3478 of Israel H776 in the land H3667 of Canaan.

ERV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, ² Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan, (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof,) ³ then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward: ⁴ and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin: and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon: ⁵ and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the sea. ⁶ And for the western border, ye shall have the great sea and the border [thereof]: this shall be your west border. ⁷ And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall mark out for you mount Hor: ⁸ from mount Hor ye shall mark out unto the entering in of Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad: ⁹ and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border. ¹⁰ And ye shall mark out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham: ¹¹ and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward: ¹² and the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea: this shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about. ¹³ And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe: ¹⁴ for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, have received, and the half tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance: ¹⁵ the two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising. ¹⁶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, ¹⁷ These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun. ¹⁸ And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance. ¹⁹ And these are the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh. ²⁰ And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud. ²¹ Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon. ²² And of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli. ²³ Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod: ²⁴ and of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan. ²⁵ And of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach. ²⁶ And of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan. ²⁷ And of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi. ²⁸ And of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud. ²⁹ These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
