Joshua 10:10-43

  10 H3068 And the LORD H1949 discomfited H6440 them before H3478 Israel, H5221 and slew H1419 them with a great H4347 slaughter H1391 at Gibeon, H7291 and chased H1870 them along the way H4609 that goes H1032 up to Bethhoron, H5221 and smote H5825 them to Azekah, H4719 and to Makkedah.
  11 H1961 And it came H5127 to pass, as they fled H6440 from before H3478 Israel, H4174 and were in the going H4174 down H1032 to Bethhoron, H3068 that the LORD H7993 cast H1419 down great H68 stones H8064 from heaven H5825 on them to Azekah, H4191 and they died: H7227 they were more H834 which H4191 died H68 with hailstones H1259 H834 than they whom H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H2026 slew H2719 with the sword.
  12 H227 Then H1696 spoke H3091 Joshua H3068 to the LORD H3117 in the day H3068 when the LORD H5414 delivered H567 up the Amorites H6440 before H1121 the children H3478 of Israel, H559 and he said H5869 in the sight H3478 of Israel, H8121 Sun, H1826 stand H1826 you still H1391 on Gibeon; H3394 and you, Moon, H6010 in the valley H357 of Ajalon.
  13 H8121 And the sun H1826 stood H1826 still, H3394 and the moon H5975 stayed, H5704 until H1471 the people H5358 had avenged H341 themselves on their enemies. H1931 Is not this H3789 written H5612 in the book H3477 of Jasher? H8121 So the sun H5975 stood H2677 still in the middle H8064 of heaven, H213 and hurried H935 not to go H8549 down about a whole H3117 day.
  14 H3808 And there was no H3117 day H6440 like that before H310 it or after H3068 it, that the LORD H8085 listened H6963 to the voice H376 of a man: H3068 for the LORD H3898 fought H3478 for Israel.
  15 H3091 And Joshua H7725 returned, H3605 and all H3478 Israel H4264 with him, to the camp H1537 to Gilgal.
  16 H428 But these H2568 five H4428 kings H5127 fled, H2244 and hid H4631 themselves in a cave H4719 at Makkedah.
  17 H5046 And it was told H3091 Joshua, H559 saying, H2568 The five H4428 kings H4672 are found H2244 hid H4631 in a cave H4719 at Makkedah.
  18 H3091 And Joshua H559 said, H1556 Roll H1419 great H68 stones H6310 on the mouth H4631 of the cave, H6485 and set H582 men H8104 by it for to keep them:
  19 H5975 And stay H7291 you not, but pursue H310 after H341 your enemies, H2179 and smite the hindmost H5414 of them; suffer H935 them not to enter H413 into H5892 their cities: H3068 for the LORD H430 your God H5414 has delivered H3027 them into your hand.
  20 H1961 And it came H3091 to pass, when Joshua H1121 and the children H3478 of Israel H3615 had made an end H5221 of slaying H3966 them with a very H1419 great H4347 slaughter, H5704 till H8552 they were consumed, H8300 that the rest H8277 which remained H935 of them entered H413 into H4013 fenced H5892 cities.
  21 H3605 And all H5971 the people H7725 returned H4264 to the camp H3091 to Joshua H4719 at Makkedah H7965 in peace: H3808 none H2782 moved H3956 his tongue H1121 against any of the children H3478 of Israel.
  22 H559 Then said H3091 Joshua, H6605 Open H6310 the mouth H4631 of the cave, H3318 and bring H428 out those H2568 five H4428 kings H4631 to me out of the cave.
  23 H6213 And they did H3651 so, H3318 and brought H3318 forth H428 those H2568 five H4428 kings H4631 to him out of the cave, H4428 the king H3389 of Jerusalem, H4428 the king H2275 of Hebron, H4428 the king H4428 of Jarmuth, the king H3923 of Lachish, H4428 and the king H5700 of Eglon.
  24 H1961 And it came H3318 to pass, when they brought H428 out those H4428 kings H3091 to Joshua, H3091 that Joshua H7121 called H3605 for all H376 the men H3478 of Israel, H559 and said H7101 to the captains H4421 of the men of war H1980 which went H7126 with him, Come H7126 near, H7760 put H7272 your feet H6677 on the necks H428 of these H4428 kings. H7126 And they came H7126 near, H7760 and put H7272 their feet H6677 on the necks of them.
  25 H3091 And Joshua H559 said H3372 to them, Fear H408 not, nor H2865 be dismayed, H2388 be strong H553 and of good courage: H3602 for thus H3068 shall the LORD H6213 do H3605 to all H341 your enemies H834 against whom H853 H3898 you fight.
  26 H310 And afterward H3651 H3091 Joshua H5221 smote H4191 them, and slew H8518 them, and hanged H5921 them on H2568 five H6086 trees: H8518 and they were hanging H6086 on the trees H5704 until H6153 the evening.
  27 H1961 And it came H6256 to pass at the time H935 of the going H8121 down of the sun, H3091 that Joshua H6680 commanded, H3381 and they took H3381 them down H5921 off H6086 the trees, H7993 and cast H413 them into H4631 the cave H834 wherein H8033 H2244 they had been hid, H7760 and laid H1419 great H68 stones H4631 in the cave’s H6310 mouth, H5704 which remain until H2088 this H6106 very H3117 day.
  28 H3117 And that day H3091 Joshua H3920 took H4719 Makkedah, H5221 and smote H6310 it with the edge H2719 of the sword, H4428 and the king H2763 thereof he utterly destroyed, H3605 them, and all H5315 the souls H3808 that were therein; he let none H8300 remain: H6213 and he did H4428 to the king H4719 of Makkedah H6213 as he did H4428 to the king H3405 of Jericho.
  29 H3091 Then Joshua H5674 passed H4719 from Makkedah, H3605 and all H3478 Israel H3841 with him, to Libnah, H3898 and fought H5973 against H3841 Libnah:
  30 H3068 And the LORD H5414 delivered H1571 it also, H4428 and the king H3027 thereof, into the hand H3478 of Israel; H5221 and he smote H6310 it with the edge H2719 of the sword, H3605 and all H5315 the souls H3808 that were therein; he let none H8300 remain H6213 in it; but did H4428 to the king H6213 thereof as he did H4428 to the king H3405 of Jericho.
  31 H3091 And Joshua H5674 passed H3841 from Libnah, H3605 and all H3478 Israel H3923 with him, to Lachish, H2583 and encamped H5921 against H3898 it, and fought against it:
  32 H3068 And the LORD H5414 delivered H3923 Lachish H3027 into the hand H3478 of Israel, H3920 which took H8145 it on the second H3117 day, H5221 and smote H6310 it with the edge H2719 of the sword, H3605 and all H5315 the souls H3605 that were therein, according to all H6213 that he had done H3841 to Libnah.
  33 H227 Then H2036 Horam H4428 king H1507 of Gezer H5927 came H5826 up to help H3923 Lachish; H3091 and Joshua H5221 smote H5971 him and his people, H5704 until H7604 he had left H1115 him none H8300 remaining.
  34 H3923 And from Lachish H3091 Joshua H5674 passed H5700 to Eglon, H3605 and all H3478 Israel H2583 with him; and they encamped H5921 against H3898 it, and fought against it:
  35 H3920 And they took H3117 it on that day, H5221 and smote H6310 it with the edge H2719 of the sword, H3605 and all H5315 the souls H2763 that were therein he utterly destroyed H3117 that day, H3605 according to all H6213 that he had done H3923 to Lachish.
  36 H3091 And Joshua H5927 went H5700 up from Eglon, H3605 and all H3478 Israel H2275 with him, to Hebron; H3898 and they fought H5921 against it:
  37 H3920 And they took H5221 it, and smote H6310 it with the edge H2719 of the sword, H4428 and the king H3605 thereof, and all H5892 the cities H3605 thereof, and all H5315 the souls H7604 that were therein; he left H3808 none H8300 remaining, H3605 according to all H6213 that he had done H5700 to Eglon; H2763 but destroyed H3605 it utterly, and all H5315 the souls that were therein.
  38 H3091 And Joshua H7725 returned, H3605 and all H3478 Israel H1688 with him, to Debir; H3898 and fought H5921 against it:
  39 H3920 And he took H4428 it, and the king H3605 thereof, and all H5892 the cities H5221 thereof; and they smote H6310 them with the edge H2719 of the sword, H2763 and utterly destroyed H3605 all H5315 the souls H7604 that were therein; he left H3808 none H8300 remaining: H6213 as he had done H2275 to Hebron, H3651 so H6213 he did H1688 to Debir, H4428 and to the king H6213 thereof; as he had done H3841 also to Libnah, H4428 and to her king.
  40 H3091 So Joshua H5221 smote H3605 all H776 the country H2022 of the hills, H5045 and of the south, H8219 and of the vale, H794 and of the springs, H3605 and all H4428 their kings: H7604 he left H3808 none H8300 remaining, H2763 but utterly destroyed H3605 all H5397 that breathed, H3068 as the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel H6680 commanded.
  41 H3091 And Joshua H5221 smote H6947 them from Kadeshbarnea H5804 even to Gaza, H3605 and all H776 the country H1657 of Goshen, H1391 even to Gibeon.
  42 H3605 And all H428 these H4428 kings H776 and their land H3091 did Joshua H3920 take H259 at one H6471 time, H3588 because H3068 the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel H3898 fought H3478 for Israel.
  43 H3091 And Joshua H7725 returned, H3605 and all H3478 Israel H4264 with him, to the camp H1537 to Gilgal.
