Job 42

  1 H347 Then Job H6030 [H8799] answered H3068 the LORD, H559 [H8799] and said,

  2 H3045 [H8804] I know H3201 [H8799] that thou canst do H4209 every thing, and that no thought H1219 [H8735] can be withheld from thee.

  3 H5956 [H8688] Who is he that hideth H6098 counsel H1847 without knowledge? H5046 [H8689] therefore have I uttered H995 [H8799] that which I understood H6381 [H8737] not; things too wonderful H3045 [H8799] for me, which I knew not.

  4 H8085 [H8798] Hear, H1696 [H8762] I beseech thee, and I will speak: H7592 [H8799] I will ask H3045 [H8685] of thee, and declare thou to me.

  5 H8085 [H8804] I have heard H8088 of thee by the hearing H241 of the ear: H5869 but now my eye H7200 [H8804] seeth thee.

  6 H3988 [H8799] Therefore I abhor H5162 [H8738] myself, and sigh H6083 in dust H665 and ashes.

  7 H310 And it was so, that after H3068 the LORD H1696 [H8765] had spoken H1697 these words H347 to Job, H3068 the LORD H559 [H8799] said H464 to Eliphaz H8489 the Temanite, H639 My anger H2734 [H8804] is kindled H8147 against thee, and against thy two H7453 friends: H1696 [H8765] for ye have not spoken H3559 [H8737] of me the thing that is right, H5650 as my servant H347 Job hath.

  8 H3947 [H8798] Therefore take H7651 to you now seven H6499 bulls H7651 and seven H352 rams, H3212 [H8798] and go H5650 to my servant H347 Job, H5927 [H8689] and offer H5930 for yourselves a burnt offering; H5650 and my servant H347 Job H6419 [H8691] shall pray H6440 for you: for him H5375 [H8799] will I accept: H6213 [H8800] lest I deal H5039 with you after your folly, H1696 [H8765] in that ye have not spoken H3559 [H8737] of me the thing which is right, H5650 like my servant H347 Job.

  9 H464 So Eliphaz H8489 the Temanite H1085 and Bildad H7747 the Shuhite H6691 and Zophar H5284 the Naamathite H3212 [H8799] went, H6213 [H8799] and did H3068 according as the LORD H1696 [H8765] commanded H3068 them: the LORD H5375 [H8799] also accepted H6440 H347 Job.

  10 H3068 And the LORD H7725 [H8804] turned H7622 H7622 [H8675] the captivity H347 of Job, H9003 while H9033 he H6419 [H8692] prayed H7453 for his friends: H3068 also the LORD H3254 [H8686] gave H347 Job H4932 twice as much as he had before.

  11 H935 [H8799] Then came H251 there to him all his brethren, H269 and all his sisters, H3045 [H8802] and all they that had been of his acquaintance H6440 at the face of, H398 [H8799] and ate H3899 bread H1004 with him in his house: H5110 [H8799] and they mourned with H5162 [H8762] him, and comforted H7451 him over all the evil H3068 that the LORD H935 [H8689] had brought H376 upon him: every man H5414 [H8799] also gave H259 him a H7192 piece of money, H376 and every one H5141 an earring H2091 of gold.

  12 H3068 So the LORD H1288 [H8765] blessed H319 the latter end H347 of Job H7225 more than his beginning: H702 H6240 for he had fourteen H505 thousand H6629 sheep, H8337 and six H505 thousand H1581 camels, H505 and a thousand H6776 yoke H1241 of oxen, H505 and a thousand H860 female donkeys.

  13 H7658 He had also seven H1121 sons H7969 and three H1323 daughters.

  14 H7121 [H8799] And he called H8034 the name H259 of the first, H3224 Jemima; H8034 and the name H8145 of the second, H7103 Kezia; H8034 and the name H7992 of the third, H7163 Kerenhappuch.

  15 H776 And in all the land H802 were no women H4672 [H8738] found H3303 so fair H1323 as the daughters H347 of Job: H1 and their father H5414 [H8799] gave H5159 them inheritance H8432 among H251 their brethren.

  16 H310 After H347 this Job H2421 [H8799] lived H3967 an hundred H705 and forty H8141 years, H7200 [H8799] and saw H1121 his sons, H1121 and his sons' H1121 sons, H702 even four H1755 generations.

  17 H347 So Job H4191 [H8799] died, H2205 being old H7649 and full H3117 of days.
