Ei au zis:,,Ce am făcut de am lăsat pe Israel să plece şi să nu ne mai slujească?`` ⁶ Faraon şi -a pregătit carul de război, şi şi -a luat oamenii de război cu el. ⁷ A luat şase sute de cară de luptă cu oameni aleşi, şi toate carăle Egiptului; în toate erau luptători. ⁸ Domnul a împietrit inima lui Faraon, împăratul Egiptului, şi Faraon a urmărit pe copiii lui Israel. І змінилося серце фараона та рабів його до того народу, і сказали вони: Що це ми зробили, що відпустили Ізраїля від роботи нам? ⁶ І запріг він свою колесницю, і забрав народ свій з собою. ⁷ І взяв він шість сотень добірних колесниць, і всі колесниці Єгипту, і трійкових над усіма ними. ⁸ І Господь учинив запеклим серце фараона, єгипетського царя, і він погнався за Ізраїлевими синами.
