Exodus 24 And he said to Moses , Come up to the LORD , thou, and Aaron , Nadab , and Abihu , and seventy of the elders of Israel ; and worship ye afar off.

4 H4872 And Moses H3789 [H8799] wrote H1697 all the words H3068 of the LORD H7925 [H8686] , and rose early H1242 in the morning H1129 [H8799] , and built H4196 an altar H2022 under the hill H4676 , and twelve pillars H8147 H6240 , according to the twelve H7626 tribes H3478 of Israel.

5 H7971 [H8799] And he sent H5288 young men H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H5927 [H8686] , who offered H5930 burnt offerings H2076 [H8799] , and sacrificed H8002 peace H2077 offerings H6499 of oxen H3068 to the LORD.

6 H4872 And Moses H3947 [H8799] took H2677 half H1818 of the blood H7760 [H8799] , and put H101 it in basins H2677 ; and half H1818 of the blood H2236 [H8804] he sprinkled H4196 on the altar.

7 H3947 [H8799] And he took H5612 the book H1285 of the covenant H7121 [H8799] , and read H241 in the hearing H5971 of the people H559 [H8799] : and they said H3068 , All that the LORD H1696 [H8765] hath said H6213 [H8799] will we do H8085 [H8799] , and be obedient.

8 H4872 And Moses H3947 [H8799] took H1818 the blood H2236 [H8799] , and sprinkled H5971 it on the people H559 [H8799] , and said H1818 , Behold the blood H1285 of the covenant H3068 , which the LORD H3772 [H8804] hath made H1697 with you concerning all these words.

9 H5927 [H8799] Then went up H4872 Moses H175 , and Aaron H5070 , Nadab H30 , and Abihu H7657 , and seventy H2205 of the elders H3478 of Israel:

10 H7200 [H8799] And they saw H430 the God H3478 of Israel H7272 : and there was under his feet H3840 as it were a paved H4639 work H5601 of a sapphire stone H6106 , and as it were the body H8064 of heaven H2892 in its clearness.

12 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H5927 [H8798] , Come up H2022 to me on the mount H5414 [H8799] , and be there: and I will give H3871 thee tables H68 of stone H8451 , and a law H4687 , and commandments H3789 [H8804] which I have written H3384 [H8687] ; that thou mayest teach them.

13 H4872 And Moses H6965 [H8799] rose up H8334 [H8764] , and his servant H3091 Joshua H4872 : and Moses H5927 [H8799] went up H2022 upon the mount H430 of God.

14 H559 [H8804] And he said H2205 to the elders H3427 [H8798] , Tarry H2088 ye here H7725 [H8799] for us, until we come again H175 to you: and, behold, Aaron H2354 and Hur H4310 are with you: if any H1167 0 man H1697 hath any matters H1167 to do H5066 [H8799] , let him come to them.

15 H4872 And Moses H5927 [H8799] went up H2022 upon the mount H6051 , and a cloud H3680 [H8762] covered H2022 the mount.

16 H3519 And the glory H3068 of the LORD H7931 [H8799] abode H2022 upon mount H5514 Sinai H6051 , and the cloud H3680 [H8762] covered H8337 it six H3117 days H7637 : and the seventh H3117 day H7121 [H8799] he called H4872 to Moses H8432 from the midst H6051 of the cloud.

17 H4758 And the sight H3519 of the glory H3068 of the LORD H398 [H8802] was like devouring H784 fire H7218 on the top H2022 of the mount H5869 in the eyes H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel.

18 H4872 And Moses H935 [H8799] went H8432 into the midst H6051 of the cloud H5927 [H8799] , and he went up H2022 to the mount H4872 : and Moses H2022 was on the mount H705 forty H3117 days H705 and forty H3915 nights.
