Job 42:6-17 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

8 H3947 Therefore take [H8798] H7651 unto you now seven H6499 bullocks H7651 and seven H352 rams H3212 , and go [H8798] H5650 to my servant H347 Job H5927 , and offer up [H8689] H5930 for yourselves a burnt offering H5650 ; and my servant H347 Job H6419 shall pray [H8691] H6440 for you: for him H5375 will I accept [H8799] H6213 : lest I deal [H8800] H5039 with you after your folly H1696 , in that ye have not spoken [H8765] H3559 of me the thing which is right [H8737] H5650 , like my servant H347 Job.

9 H464 So Eliphaz H8489 the Temanite H1085 and Bildad H7747 the Shuhite H6691 and Zophar H5284 the Naamathite H3212 went [H8799] H6213 , and did [H8799] H3068 according as the LORD H1696 commanded [H8765] H3068 them: the LORD H5375 also accepted [H8799] H6440 Job H347 .

10 H3068 And the LORD H7725 turned [H8804] H7622 the captivity [H8675] H7622 H347 of Job H6419 , when he prayed [H8692] H7453 for his friends H3068 : also the LORD H3254 gave [H8686] H347 Job H4932 twice as much as he had before.

11 H935 Then came [H8799] H251 there unto him all his brethren H269 , and all his sisters H3045 , and all they that had been of his acquaintance [H8802] H6440 before H398 , and did eat [H8799] H3899 bread H1004 with him in his house H5110 : and they bemoaned [H8799] H5162 him, and comforted [H8762] H7451 him over all the evil H3068 that the LORD H935 had brought [H8689] H376 upon him: every man H5414 also gave [H8799] H259 him a H7192 piece of money H376 , and every one H5141 an earring H2091 of gold.

12 H3068 So the LORD H1288 blessed [H8765] H319 the latter end H347 of Job H7225 more than his beginning H702 : for he had fourteen H6240 H505 thousand H6629 sheep H8337 , and six H505 thousand H1581 camels H505 , and a thousand H6776 yoke H1241 of oxen H505 , and a thousand H860 she asses.

13 H7658 He had also seven H1121 sons H7969 and three H1323 daughters.

14 H7121 And he called [H8799] H8034 the name H259 of the first H3224 , Jemima H8034 ; and the name H8145 of the second H7103 , Kezia H8034 ; and the name H7992 of the third H7163 , Kerenhappuch.

15 H776 And in all the land H802 were no women H4672 found [H8738] H3303 so fair H1323 as the daughters H347 of Job H1 : and their father H5414 gave [H8799] H5159 them inheritance H8432 among H251 their brethren.

16 H310 After H2421 this lived [H8799] H347 Job H3967 an hundred H705 and forty H8141 years H7200 , and saw [H8799] H1121 his sons H1121 , and his sons H1121 ' sons H702 , even four H1755 generations.

17 H347 So Job H4191 died [H8799] H2205 , being old H7649 and full H3117 of days.

ERV⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁶ Wherefore I abhor [myself], and repent in dust and ashes. ⁷ And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. ⁸ Now therefore, take unto you seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you; for him will I accept, that I deal not with you after your folly; for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. ⁹ So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: and the LORD accepted Job. ¹⁰ And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: and the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. ¹¹ Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him concerning all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one a ring of gold. ¹² So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: and he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses. ¹³ He had also seven sons and three daughters. ¹⁴ And he called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch. ¹⁵ And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. ¹⁶ And after this Job lived an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, [even] four generations. ¹⁷ So Job died, being old and full of days.
