  1 H559 ויאמר had said H3068 יהוה Now the LORD H413 אל unto H87 אברם Abram, H1980 לך Get thee out H776 לך מארצך of thy country, H4138 וממולדתך and from thy kindred, H1004 ומבית   H1 אביך   H413 אל unto H776 הארץ a land H834 אשׁר that H7200 אראך׃ I will show
  2 H6213 ואעשׂך And I will make H1471 לגוי nation, H1419 גדול of thee a great H1288 ואברכך and I will bless H1431 ואגדלה thee, and make thy name great; H8034 שׁמך thee, and make thy name great; H1961 והיה and thou shalt be H1293 ברכה׃ a blessing:
  3 H1288 ואברכה And I will bless H1288 מברכיך them that bless H7043 ומקללך him that curseth H779 אאר thee, and curse H1288 ונברכו be blessed. H3605 בך כל thee: and in thee shall all H4940 משׁפחת families H127 האדמה׃ of the earth
  4 H1980 וילך departed, H87 אברם So Abram H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר had spoken H413 אליו unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H1980 וילך went H854 אתו with H3876 לוט him; and Lot H87 ואברם him: and Abram H1121 בן old H2568 חמשׁ and five H8141 שׁנים years H7657 ושׁבעים seventy H8141 שׁנה   H3318 בצאתו when he departed H2771 מחרן׃  
  5 H3947 ויקח took H87 אברם And Abram H853 את   H8297 שׂרי Sarai H802 אשׁתו his wife, H853 ואת   H3876 לוט and Lot H1121 בן son, H251 אחיו his brother's H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H7399 רכושׁם their substance H834 אשׁר that H7408 רכשׁו they had gathered, H853 ואת   H5315 הנפשׁ and the souls H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂו they had gotten H2771 בחרן in Haran; H3318 ויצאו and they went forth H1980 ללכת to go H776 ארצה into the land H3667 כנען of Canaan; H935 ויבאו they came. H776 ארצה and into the land H3667 כנען׃ of Canaan
  6 H5674 ויעבר passed through H87 אברם And Abram H776 בארץ the land H5704 עד unto H4725 מקום the place H7927 שׁכם of Sichem, H5704 עד unto H436 אלון the plain H4176 מורה of Moreh. H3669 והכנעני And the Canaanite H227 אז then H776 בארץ׃ in the land.
  7 H7200 וירא appeared H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H87 אברם Abram, H559 ויאמר and said, H2233 לזרעך Unto thy seed H5414 אתן will I give H853 את   H776 הארץ land: H2063 הזאת this H1129 ויבן built H8033 שׁם and there H4196 מזבח he an altar H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD, H7200 הנראה who appeared H413 אליו׃ unto
  8 H6275 ויעתק And he removed H8033 משׁם from thence H2022 ההרה unto a mountain H6924 מקדם on the east H1008 לבית אל of Bethel, H5186 ויט and pitched H168 אהלה his tent, H1008 בית אל Bethel H3220 מים on the west, H5857 והעי and Hai H6924 מקדם on the east: H1129 ויבן he built H8033 שׁם and there H4196 מזבח an altar H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD, H7121 ויקרא and called H8034 בשׁם upon the name H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.
  9 H5265 ויסע journeyed, H87 אברם And Abram H1980 הלוך going on H5265 ונסוע still H5045 הנגבה׃ toward the south.
  10 H1961 ויהי And there was H7458 רעב a famine H776 בארץ in the land: H3381 וירד went down H87 אברם and Abram H4714 מצרימה into Egypt H1481 לגור to sojourn H8033 שׁם there; H3588 כי for H3515 כבד grievous H7458 הרעב the famine H776 בארץ׃ in the land.
  11 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H834 כאשׁר when H7126 הקריב he was come near H935 לבוא to enter H4714 מצרימה into Egypt, H559 ויאמר that he said H413 אל unto H8297 שׂרי Sarai H802 אשׁתו his wife, H2009 הנה Behold H4994 נא now, H3045 ידעתי I know H3588 כי that H802 אשׁה woman H3303 יפת a fair H4758 מראה to look upon: H859 את׃ thou
  12 H1961 והיה Therefore it shall come to pass, H3588 כי when H7200 יראו shall see H853 אתך   H4713 המצרים the Egyptians H559 ואמרו thee, that they shall say, H802 אשׁתו his wife: H2063 זאת This H2026 והרגו and they will kill H853 אתי   H853 ואתך   H2421 יחיו׃ me, but they will save thee alive.
  13 H559 אמרי Say, H4994 נא I pray thee, H269 אחתי my sister: H859 את thou H4616 למען that H3190 ייטב it may be well H5668 לי בעבורך with me for thy sake; H2421 וחיתה shall live H5315 נפשׁי and my soul H1558 בגללך׃ because of
  14 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H935 כבוא was come H87 אברם that, when Abram H4714 מצרימה into Egypt, H7200 ויראו beheld H4713 המצרים the Egyptians H853 את   H802 האשׁה the woman H3588 כי that H3303 יפה fair. H1931 הוא she H3966 מאד׃ very
  15 H7200 ויראו saw H853 אתה   H8269 שׂרי The princes H6547 פרעה also of Pharaoh H1984 ויהללו her, and commended H853 אתה   H413 אל her before H6547 פרעה Pharaoh: H3947 ותקח was taken H802 האשׁה and the woman H1004 בית house. H6547 פרעה׃ into Pharaoh's
  16 H87 ולאברם   H3190 היטיב   H5668 בעבורה for her sake: H1961 ויהי and he had H6629 לו צאן sheep, H1241 ובקר and oxen, H2543 וחמרים and he asses, H5650 ועבדים and menservants, H8198 ושׁפחת and maidservants, H860 ואתנת and she asses, H1581 וגמלים׃ and camels.
  17 H5060 וינגע plagued H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 את   H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H5061 נגעים plagues H1419 גדלים with great H853 ואת   H1004 ביתו and his house H5921 על because of H1697 דבר because of H8297 שׂרי Sarai H802 אשׁת wife. H87 אברם׃ Abram's
  18 H7121 ויקרא called H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H87 לאברם Abram, H559 ויאמר and said, H4100 מה What H2063 זאת this H6213 עשׂית thou hast done H4100 לי למה unto me? why H3808 לא didst thou not H5046 הגדת tell H3588 לי כי me that H802 אשׁתך thy wife? H1931 הוא׃ she
  19 H4100 למה Why H559 אמרת saidst H269 אחתי my sister? H1931 הוא thou, She H3947 ואקח so I might have taken H853 אתה   H802 לי לאשׁה her to me to wife: H6258 ועתה now therefore H2009 הנה behold H802 אשׁתך thy wife, H3947 קח take H1980 ולך׃ and go thy way.
  20 H6680 ויצו commanded H5921 עליו concerning H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H376 אנשׁים men H7971 וישׁלחו   H853 אתו   H853 ואת   H802 אשׁתו and his wife, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H834 אשׁר׃ that
