  4 H3820 לב The heart H2450 חכמים of the wise H1004 בבית in the house H60 אבל of mourning; H3820 ולב but the heart H3684 כסילים of fools H1004 בבית in the house H8057 שׂמחה׃ of mirth.
  5 H2896 טוב better H8085 לשׁמע to hear H1606 גערת the rebuke H2450 חכם of the wise, H376 מאישׁ than for a man H8085 שׁמע to hear H7892 שׁיר the song H3684 כסילים׃ of fools.

  7 H3588 כי Surely H6233 העשׁק oppression H1984 יהולל mad; H2450 חכם maketh a wise man H6 ויאבד destroyeth H853 את   H3820 לב the heart. H4979 מתנה׃ and a gift

  11 H2896 טובה good H2451 חכמה Wisdom H5973 עם with H5159 נחלה an inheritance: H3148 ויתר and profit H7200 לראי to them that see H8121 השׁמשׁ׃ the sun.

  15 H853 את   H3605 הכל All H7200 ראיתי have I seen H3117 בימי in the days H1892 הבלי of my vanity: H3426 ישׁ there is H6662 צדיק a just H6 אבד that perisheth H6664 בצדקו in his righteousness, H3426 וישׁ and there is H7563 רשׁע a wicked H748 מאריך that prolongeth H7451 ברעתו׃ in his wickedness.
  16 H408 אל not H1961 תהי Be H6662 צדיק righteous H7235 הרבה over much; H408 ואל neither H2449 תתחכם make thyself over wise: H3148 יותר make thyself over wise: H4100 למה why H8074 תשׁומם׃ shouldest thou destroy thyself?
  17 H408 אל Be not H7561 תרשׁע wicked, H7235 הרבה over much H408 ואל neither H1961 תהי be H5530 סכל thou foolish: H4100 למה why H4191 תמות shouldest thou die H3808 בלא before H6256 עתך׃ thy time?
  18 H2896 טוב good H834 אשׁר that H270 תאחז thou shouldest take hold H2088 בזה of this; H1571 וגם yea, also H2088 מזה from this H408 אל not H3240 תנח   H853 את   H3027 ידך thine hand: H3588 כי for H3373 ירא he that feareth H430 אלהים God H3318 יצא shall come forth H854 את   H3605 כלם׃ of them all.
  19 H2451 החכמה Wisdom H5810 תעז strengtheneth H2450 לחכם the wise H6235 מעשׂרה more than ten H7989 שׁליטים mighty H834 אשׁר which H1961 היו are H5892 בעיר׃ in the city.
  20 H3588 כי For H120 אדם man H369 אין not H6662 צדיק a just H776 בארץ upon earth, H834 אשׁר that H6213 יעשׂה doeth H2896 טוב good, H3808 ולא not. H2398 יחטא׃ and sinneth
  21 H1571 גם Also H3605 לכל unto all H1697 הדברים words H834 אשׁר that H1696 ידברו are spoken; H408 אל no H5414 תתן take H3820 לבך heed H834 אשׁר lest H3808 לא lest H8085 תשׁמע thou hear H853 את   H5650 עבדך thy servant H7043 מקללך׃ curse
  22 H3588 כי For H1571 גם also H6471 פעמים oftentimes H7227 רבות oftentimes H3045 ידע knoweth H3820 לבך thine own heart H834 אשׁר that H1571 גם likewise H859 את thou thyself H7043 קללת hast cursed H312 אחרים׃ others.
  23 H3605 כל All H2090 זה this H5254 נסיתי have I proved H2451 בחכמה by wisdom: H559 אמרתי I said, H2449 אחכמה I will be wise; H1931 והיא but it H7350 רחוקה far H4480 ממני׃ from
  24 H7350 רחוק far off, H4100 מה   H1961 שׁהיה   H6013 ועמק and exceeding deep, H6013 עמק and exceeding deep, H4310 מי who H4672 ימצאנו׃ can find it out?
  25 H5437 סבותי applied H589 אני I H3820 ולבי mine heart H3045 לדעת to know, H8446 ולתור and to search, H1245 ובקשׁ and to seek out H2451 חכמה wisdom, H2808 וחשׁבון and the reason H1847 ולדעת   H7562 רשׁע the wickedness H3689 כסל of folly, H5531 והסכלות even of foolishness H1947 הוללות׃ madness:
  26 H4672 ומוצא find H589 אני And I H4751 מר more bitter H4194 ממות than death H853 את   H802 האשׁה the woman, H834 אשׁר whose H1931 היא whose H4685 מצודים snares H2764 וחרמים and nets, H3820 לבה heart H612 אסורים bands: H3027 ידיה her hands H2896 טוב whoso pleaseth H6440 לפני whoso pleaseth H430 האלהים God H4422 ימלט shall escape H4480 ממנה than death H2398 וחוטא her; but the sinner H3920 ילכד׃ shall be taken
  27 H7200 ראה Behold, H2088 זה this H4672 מצאתי have I found, H559 אמרה saith H6953 קהלת the preacher, H259 אחת one H259 לאחת by one, H4672 למצא to find out H2808 חשׁבון׃ the account:
  28 H834 אשׁר Which H5750 עוד yet H1245 בקשׁה seeketh, H5315 נפשׁי my soul H3808 ולא not: H4672 מצאתי but I find H120 אדם man H259 אחד one H505 מאלף among a thousand H4672 מצאתי have I found; H802 ואשׁה but a woman H3605 בכל among all H428 אלה those H3808 לא have I not H4672 מצאתי׃ found.
