John 16:1-19

  1 G5023 These things G2980 have I spoken G5213 unto you, G2443 that G4624 ye should G3361 not G4624 be caused to stumble.

  2 G4160 They shall put G5209 you G656 out of the synagogues: G235 yea, G5610 the hour G2064 cometh, G2443 that G3956 whosoever G615 killeth G5209 you G1380 shall think G4374 that he offereth G2999 service G2316 unto God.

  3 G2532 And G5023 these things G4160 will they do, G5213   G3754 because G1097 they have G3756 not G1097 known G3962 the Father, G3761 nor G1691 me.

  4 G235 But G5023 these things G2980 have I spoken G5213 unto you, G2443 that G3752 when G5610 their hour G2064 is come, G3421 ye may remember G846 them, G3754 how that G1473 I G2036 told G5213 you. G1161 And G5023 these things G2036 I said G3756 not G5213 unto you G1537 from G746 the beginning, G3754 because G2252 I was G3326 with G5216 you.

  5 G1161 But G3568 now G3588 I go unto him G3992 that sent G3165 me; G2532 and G3762 none G1537 of G5216 you G2065 asketh G3165 me, G4226 Whither G5217 goest thou?

  6 G235 But G3754 because G2980 I have spoken G5023 these things G5213 unto you, G3077 sorrow G4137 hath filled G5216 your G2588 heart.

  7 G235 Nevertheless G1473 I G3004 tell G5213 you G225 the truth: G4851 It is expedient G5213 for you G2443 that G1473 I G565 go away; G1063 for G1437 if G565 I go G3361 not G565 away, G3875 the Comforter G2064 will G3756 not G2064 come G4314 unto G5209 you; G1161 but G1437 if G4198 I go, G3992 I will send G846 him G4314 unto G5209 you.

  8 G2532 And G2064 he, when G1565 he G2064 is come, G1651 will convict G2889 the world G4012 in respect G266 of sin, G2532 and G4012 of G1343 righteousness, G2532 and G4012 of G2920 judgment:

  9 G4012 of G3303 sin, G3754 because G4100 they believe G3756 not G1519 on G1691 me;

  10 G4012 of G1343 righteousness, G3754 because G5217 I go G4314 to G3450 the G3962 Father, G2532 and G2334 ye behold G3165 me G3756 no G1161 more;

  11 G4012 of G2920 judgment, G3754 because G758 the prince G5127 of this G2889 world G2919 hath been judged.

  12 G2192 I have G2089 yet G4183 many things G3004 to say G5213 unto you, G235 but G3756   G1410 ye cannot G941 bear G4183 them G737 now.

  13 G1161 Howbeit G3752 when G1565 he, G4151 the Spirit of G225 truth, G2064 is come, G3594 he shall guide G5209 you G1519 into G3956 all G225 the truth: G1063 for G2980 he shall G3756 not G2980 speak G575 from G1438 himself; G235 but G3745 what G302 things soever G191 he shall hear, G2980 these shall he speak: G2532 and G312 he shall declare G5213 unto you G3588 the things G2064 that are to come.

  14 G1565 He G1392 shall glorify G1691 me: G3754 for G2983 he shall take G1537 of G1700 mine, G2532 and G312 shall declare G5213 it unto you.

  15 G3956 All things G3745 whatsoever G3962 the Father G2192 hath G2076 are G1699 mine: G1223 therefore G5124   G5124 said I, G3754 that G2983 he taketh G1537 of G1700 mine, G2532 and G312 shall declare G5213 it unto you.

  16 G3397 A little while, G2532 and G2334 ye behold G3165 me G3756 no G2532 more; and G3825 again G3397 a little while, G2532 and G3700 ye shall see G3165 me.

  17 G1537 Some of G846 his G3101 disciples G3767 therefore G2036 said G4314 one G240 to another, G5101 What G2076 is G5124 this G3739 that G3004 he saith G2254 unto us, G3397 A little while, G2532 and G2334 ye G2334 behold G3165 me G3756 not; G2532 and G3825 again G3397 a little while, G2532 and G3700 ye shall see G3165 me: G2532 and, G3754 Because G1473 I G5217 go G4314 to G3962 the Father?

  18 G3004 They said G3767 therefore, G5101 What G2076 is G5124 this G3739 that G3004 he saith, G3397 A little while? G1492 We G1492 know G3756 not G5101 what G2980 he saith.

  19 G3767   G2424 Jesus G1097 perceived G3754 that G2309 they were desirous G2065 to ask G846 him, G2532 and G2036 he said G846 unto them, G2212 Do ye inquire G3326 among G240 yourselves G4012 concerning G5127 this, G3754 that G2036 I said, G3397 A little while, G2532 and G2334 ye G2334 behold G3165 me G3756 not, G2532 and G3825 again G3397 a little while, G2532 and G3700 ye shall see G3165 me?
