Isaiah 19:1-25 The burden of Egypt. Behold, Jehovah rideth upon a swift cloud, and cometh unto Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall tremble at his presence; and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

1 H4853 The burden H4714 of Egypt. H3068 Behold, Jehovah H7392 rideth H7031 upon a swift H5645 cloud, H935 and cometh H4714 unto Egypt: H457 and the idols H4714 of Egypt H5128 shall tremble H6440 at his presence; H3824 and the heart H4714 of Egypt H4549 shall melt H7130 in the midst of it.

2 H5526 And I will stir H4714 up the Egyptians H4714 against the Egyptians: H3898 and they shall fight H376 every one H251 against his brother, H376 and every one H7453 against his neighbor; H5892 city H5892 against city, H4467 and kingdom H4467 against kingdom.

3 H7307 And the spirit H4714 of Egypt H1238 shall fail H7130 in the midst H1104 of it; and I will destroy H6098 the counsel H1875 thereof: and they shall seek H457 unto the idols, H328 and to the charmers, H178 and to them that have familiar spirits, H3049 and to the wizards.

4 H853 And H5534 I will give over H4714 the Egyptians H3027 into the hand H7186 of a cruel H113 lord; H5794 and a fierce H4428 king H4910 shall rule H5002 over them, saith H113 the Lord, H3068 Jehovah H6635 of hosts.

5 H4325 And the waters H5405 shall fail H3220 from the sea, H5104 and the river H2717 shall be wasted H3001 and become dry.

6 H5104 And the rivers H2186 shall become H2186 foul; H2975 the streams H4693 of Egypt H1809 shall be diminished H2717 and dried up; H7070 the reeds H5488 and flags H7060 shall wither away.

7 H6169 The meadows H2975 by the Nile, H6310 by the brink H2975 of the Nile, H4218 and all the sown H2975 fields of the Nile, H3001 shall become dry, H5086 be driven away, and be no more.

8 H1771 And the fishers H578 shall lament, H7993 and all they that cast H2443 angle H2975 into the Nile H56 shall mourn, H6566 and they that spread H4365 nets H6440 upon H4325 the waters H535 shall languish.

9 H5647 Moreover they that work H8305 in combed H6593 flax, H707 and they that weave H2355 white cloth, H954 shall be confounded.

10 H8356 And the pillars H1792 of Egypt shall be broken H6213 in pieces; all they that work H7938 for hire H99 shall be grieved H5315 in soul.

11 H8269 The princes H6814 of Zoan H191 are utterly foolish; H6098 the counsel H2450 of the wisest H3289 counsellors H6547 of Pharaoh H1197 is become brutish: H559 how say H6547 ye unto Pharaoh, H1121 I am the son H2450 of the wise, H1121 the son H6924 of ancient H4428 kings?

12 H335 Where H645 then H2450 are thy wise H5046 men? and let them tell H3045 thee now; and let them know H3068 what Jehovah H6635 of hosts H3289 hath purposed H4714 concerning Egypt.

13 H8269 The princes H6814 of Zoan H2973 are become fools, H8269 the princes H5297 of Memphis H5377 are deceived; H4714 they have caused Egypt H8582 to go astray, H6438 that are the corner-stone H7626 of her tribes.

16 H3117 In that day H4714 shall the Egyptians H802 be like unto women; H2729 and they shall tremble H6342 and fear H6440 because H8573 of the shaking H3027 of the hand H3068 of Jehovah H6635 of hosts, H5130 which he shaketh over them.

17 H127 And the land H3063 of Judah H2283 shall become a terror H4714 unto Egypt; H2142 every one to whom mention H6342 is made thereof shall be afraid, H6440 because H6098 of the purpose H3068 of Jehovah H6635 of hosts, H3289 which he purposeth against it.

18 H3117 In that day H2568 there shall be five H5892 cities H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H1696 that speak H8193 the language H3667 of Canaan, H7650 and swear H3068 to Jehovah H6635 of hosts; H259 one H559 shall be called H5892 The city H2041 of destruction.

19 H3117 In that day H4196 shall there be an altar H3068 to Jehovah H8432 in the midst H776 of the land H4714 of Egypt, H4676 and a pillar H681 at H1366 the border H3068 thereof to Jehovah.

20 H226 And it shall be for a sign H5707 and for a witness H3068 unto Jehovah H6635 of hosts H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt; H6817 for they shall cry H3068 unto Jehovah H6440 because H3905 of oppressors, H7971 and he will send H3467 them a saviour, H7227 and a defender, H5337 and he will deliver them.

21 H3068 And Jehovah H3045 shall be known H4714 to Egypt, H4714 and the Egyptians H3045 shall know H3068 Jehovah H3117 in that day; H5647 yea, they shall worship H2077 with sacrifice H4503 and oblation, H5087 and shall vow H5088 a vow H3068 unto Jehovah, H7999 and shall perform it.

22 H3068 And Jehovah H5062 will smite H4714 Egypt, H5062 smiting H7495 and healing; H7725 and they shall return H3068 unto Jehovah, H6279 and he will be entreated H7495 of them, and will heal them.

23 H3117 In that day H4546 shall there be a highway H4714 out of Egypt H804 to Assyria, H804 and the Assyrian H935 shall come H4714 into Egypt, H4714 and the Egyptian H804 into Assyria; H4714 and the Egyptians H5647 shall worship H804 with the Assyrians.

24 H3117 In that day H3478 shall Israel H7992 be the third H4714 with Egypt H804 and with Assyria, H1293 a blessing H7130 in the midst H776 of the earth;

25 H3068 for that Jehovah H6635 of hosts H1288 hath blessed H559 them, saying, H1288 Blessed H4714 be Egypt H5971 my people, H804 and Assyria H4639 the work H3027 of my hands, H3478 and Israel H5159 mine inheritance.
