Jeremiah 10:1-25

  10:1   191 ακούσατε Hear 3588 τον the 3056 λόγον word 2962 κυρίου of the lord! 3739 ο which 2980 ελάλησεν he spoke 1909 εφ΄ to 1473 υμάς you, 3624 οίκος O house * Ισραήλ of Israel.   10:2   3592 τάδε Thus 3004 λέγει says 2962 κύριος the lord, 2596 κατά [³according to 3588 τας ⁴the 3598 οδούς ⁵ways 3588 των ⁶of the 1484 εθνών ⁷nations 3361 μη ¹Do not 3129 μανθάνετε ²learn]! 2532 και And 575 από from 3588 των the 4592 σημείων signs 3588 του of the 3772 ουρανού heaven 3361 μη do not 5399 φοβείσθε fear! 3754 ότι for 5399 φοβούνται [²are fearing 1473 αυτά ³them 1484 έθνη ¹nations].   10:3   3754 ότι For 3588 τα the 3544.1 νόμιμα laws 3588 των of the 1484 εθνών nations 3152 μάταια are vain. 3586-1510.2.3 ξύλον εστίν An idol is a tree 1537 εκ [²from out of 3588 του ³the 1409.1 δρυμού ⁴forest 1581 εκκεκομμένον ¹being cut], 2041 έργον the work 5045 τέκτονος of a fabricator, 2532 και even 5560.4 χώνευμα a molten casting.   10:4   694 αργυρίω [³in silver 2532 και ⁴and 5553 χρυσίω ⁵gold 2566.5 κεκαλλωπισμένα ²being bedecked 1510.2.3 εστίν ¹It is]. 1722 εν By 4973.1 σφύραις a hammer 2532 και and 2247 ήλοις nail 4732 εστερέωσαν they stiffen 1473 αυτά them,   10:5   2532 και and 3756 ου they do not 2795 κινηθήσονται move. 694 αργύριον [²a silver 5117.1 τορευτόν ³turned piece 1510.2.3 εστιν ¹It is] -- 3756 ου λαλούσιν they do not speak. 142 αιρόμενα Being lifted 142 αρθήσονται they shall be lifted, 3754 ότι for 3756 ουκ they shall not 1910 επιβήσονται mount themselves. 3361 μη You should not 5399 φοβηθήτε fear 1473 αυτά them, 3754 ότι for 3766.2 ου μη in no way 2554 κακοποιήσωσι should they do evil, 2532 και and 18 αγαθόν [²good 3756-1510.2.3 ουκ έστιν ¹there is no] 1722 εν in 1473 αυτοίς them.   10:6   3756-1510.2.3 ουκ έστιν There is not 3664 όμοιός one likened 1473 σοι to you, 2962 κύριε O lord. 3173 μέγας Great 1510.2.2 ει are 1473 συ you, 2532 και and 3173 μέγα great 3588 το   3686-1473 όνομά σου is your name 1722 εν in 3588 τη   2479 ισχύϊ strength.   10:7   5100 τις Who 3756-5399 ου φοβηθήσεταί shall not fear 1473 σε you, 935 βασιλεύ O king 1484 εθνών of nations? 1473-1063 σοι γαρ For to you 4241 πρέπει it is becoming. 3754 ότι For 1722 εν among 3956 πάσι all 3588 τοις the 4680 σοφοίς wise 3588 των of the 1484 εθνών nations, 2532 και and 1722 εν among 3956 πάσαις all 3588 ταις   932-1473 βασιλείαις αυτών their kingdoms, 3756-1510.2.3 ουκ έστιν there is not one 3664 όμοιος likened 1473 σοι to you.   10:8   260 άμα At the same time 878 άφρονες [²foolish 2532 και ³and 453 ανόητοί ⁴unthinking 1510.2.6 εισι ¹they are]. 1319 διδασκαλία [⁴a teacher 3152 ματαίων ⁵of vanities 1473 αυτών ¹Their 3586 ξύλον ²tree 1510.2.3 εστίν ³is].   10:9   694 αργύριον [²silver 4325.4 προσβλητόν ¹Amalgamated] 575 από from * Θαρσείς Tarshish; 2240 ήξει [²shall come 5553 χρυσίον ¹gold] * Μοφάς from Uphaz; 2532 και and 5495 χειρ by the hand 5557.2 χρυσοχόων of goldsmiths 2041 έργα [²works 5079 τεχνιτών ³of craftsmen 3956 πάντα ¹they are all]. 5192 υάκινθον [³blue 2532 και ⁴and 4209 πορφύραν ⁵purple 1746 ενδύσουσιν ¹They shall put on 1473 αυτά ²them].   10:11   3779 ούτως Thus 2046 ερείτε you shall say 1473 αυτοίς to them, 2316 θεοί The gods 3739 οι who 3588 τον [³the 3772 ουρανόν ⁴heaven 2532 και ⁵and 3588 την ⁶the 1093 γην ⁷earth 3756 ουκ ¹did not 4160 εποίησαν ²make] 622 απολέσθωσαν let them be destroyed 575 από from 3588 της the 1093 γης earth, 2532 και and 5270.1 υποκάτωθεν from beneath 3588 του   3772-3778 ουρανού τούτο this heaven!   10:12   2962 κύριος The lord 3588 ο is the 4160 ποιήσας one making 3588 την the 1093 γην earth 1722 εν by 3588 τη   2479-1473 ισχύϊι αυτού his strength; 461 ανορθώσας erecting 3588 την the 3611 οικουμένην world 1722 εν by 3588 τη   4678-1473 σοφία αυτού his wisdom; 2532 και and 1722 εν by 3588 τη   5428-1473 φρονήσει αυτού his intellect 1614 εξέτεινε he stretched out 3588 τον the 3772 ουρανόν heaven,   10:13   2532 και and 4128 πλήθος the multitude 5204 ύδατος of water 1722 εν in 3772 ουρανώ the heaven; 2532 και and 321 ανήγαγε he led 3507 νεφέλας clouds 1537 εξ from 2078 εσχάτου the end 3588 της of the 1093 γης earth; 796 αστραπάς [²lightnings 1519 εις ³for 5205 υετόν ⁴the rain 4160 εποίησε ¹he made], 2532 και and 1806 εξήγαγε he brought out 417 ανεμούς winds 1537 εκ from 2344-1473 θησαυρών αυτού his treasuries.   10:14   3471 εμωράνθη [³was made moronish 3956 πας ¹Every 444 άνθρωπος ²man] 575 από from 1108 γνώσεως knowledge; 2617 κατησχύνθη [³was disgraced 3956 πας ¹every 5557.2 χρυσοχόος ²goldsmith] 1909 επί over 3588 τοις   1099.3-1473 γλυπτοίς αυτού his carved idols; 3754 ότι for 5571 ψευδή [²false 5560.9 εχώνευσαν ¹they cast] in a furnace; 3756-1510.2.3 ουκ έστι there is no 4151 πνεύμα breath 1722 εν in 1473 αυτοίς them.   10:15   3152-1510.2.3 ματαία εστιν They are vanities, 2041 έργα [²works 1702 εμπεπαιγμένα ¹mocking]. 1722 εν In 2540 καιρώ the time 1984-1473 επισκοπής αυτών of their visitation 622 απολούνται they shall be destroyed.   10:16   3756-1510.2.3 ουκ έστι [²is not 5108 τοιαύτη ¹Such] 3588 η the 3310 μερίς portion 3588 τω   * Ιακώβ of Jacob, 3754 ότι for 3588 ο the one 4111 πλάσας shaping 3588 τα   3956 πάντα all things 1473-1510.2.3 αυτός εστι is he, 2532 και and * Ισραήλ Israel 4464 ράβδος is the rod 2817-1473 κληρονομία αυτού of his inheritance -- 2962 κύριος the lord 1411 δυνάμεων of forces 3686-1473 όνομα αυτώ is his name.   10:17   4863 συνήγαγεν He gathered 1855 έξωθεν [²from outside 3588 την   5287-1473 υπόστασιν αυτου ¹his support] 2730 κατοικούσα dwelling 1722 εν in 1588 εκλεκτοις choice vessels.   10:18   3754 ότι For 3592 τάδε thus 3004 λέγει says 2962 κύριος the lord, 2400 ιδού Behold, 1473 εγώ I 4627.1 σκελίζω trip up 3588 τους the ones 2730 κατοικούντας dwelling 3588 την   1093-3778 γην ταύτην this land. 2532 και And 1570.2-1473 εκθλίψω αυτούς I will squeeze them out 3704 όπως so that 2147 ευρεθή it should be found.   10:19   3759 ουαί Woe 1909 επί over 4938-1473 συντρίμματί σου your destruction, 217.4 αλγηρά [²is painful 3588 η   4127-1473 πληγή σου ¹your wound]. 2504 καγώ And I 2036 είπα said, 3689 όντως Really 3778 τούτο this 3588 το   5134-1473 τραύμά μου is my wound, 2532 και and 2638 κατέλαβέ it overtook 1473 με me.   10:20   3588 η   4633-1473 σκηνή μου My tent 5003 εταλαιπώρησεν is in miserable condition, 3643.4 ώλετο it was destroyed; 2532 και and 3956 πάσαι all 3588 αι   1193.1-1473 δέρρεις μου of my hide coverings 1288 διεσπάσθησαν were pulled apart. 3588 οι   5207-1473 υιοί μου My sons 2532 και and 3588 τα   4263-1473 πρόβατά μου my sheep 3756-1510.2.6 ουκ εισίν are no more; 3756-1510.2.3 ουκ έστιν there is no 2089 έτι more 5117 τόπος place 3588 της   4633-1473 σκηνής μου for my tent, 5117 τόπος nor a place 3588 των   1193.1-1473 δέρρεών μου for my hide coverings.   10:21   3754 ότι For 3588 οι the 4166 ποιμένες shepherds 875.1 ηφρονεύσαντο were unwise, 2532 και and 3588 τον   2962 κύριον [³the lord 3756 ουκ ¹they do not 2212 εζήτησαν ²seek]. 1223 διά On account of 3778 τούτο this 3756-3539 ουκ ενόησε [⁴comprehended not 3956 πάσα ¹all 3588 η ²the 3542 νομή ³sheep of the pasture], 2532 και and 1287 διεσκορπίσθησαν are dispersed.   10:22   5456 φωνή [³a sound 189 ακοής ⁴of a report 2400 ιδού ¹Behold 2064 έρχεται ²there comes], 2532 και and 4578 σεισμός [²quake 3173 μέγας ¹a great] 1537 εκ from out of 1093 γης the land 1005 βορρά of the north, 3588 του   5021 τάξαι to order 3588 τας the 4172 πόλεις cities * Ιούδα of Judah 1519 εις for 854 αφανισμόν extinction, 2532 και and 2845 κοίτην a bed 4765.1 στρουθών for ostriches.   10:23   1492 οίδα I know, 2962 κύριε O lord, 3754 ότι that 3780 ουχί [⁴is not 3588 του   444 ανθρώπου ³of man 3588 η ¹the 3598 οδός ²way] 1473 αυτού his own; 3761 ουδέ nor 435 ανήρ shall a man 4198 πορεύσεται go 2532 και and 2734.2 κατορθώσει keep [²straight 4197-1473 πορείαν αυτού ¹his goings].   10:24   3811 παίδευσον Correct 1473 ημάς us, 2962 κύριε O lord, 4133 πλην only 1722 εν with 2920 κρίσει equity, 2532 και and 3361 μη not 1722 εν in 2372 θυμώ rage! 2443 ίνα that 3361 μη [²not 3641-1473 ολίγους ημάς ⁴us few 4160 ποιήσης ¹you should ³make].   10:25   1632 έκχεον Pour out 3588 τον   2372-1473 θυμόν σου your rage 1909 επί upon 1484 έθνη the nations! 3588 τα the ones 3361 μη not 1492 ειδότα knowing 1473 σε you; 2532 και and 1909 επί upon 932 βασιλείας kingdoms 3739 αι which 3588 το   3686-1473 όνομά σου [²your name 3756-1941 ουκ επεκαλέσαντο ¹called not upon]. 3754 ότι For 2719 κατέφαγον they devoured 3588 τον   * Ιακώβ Jacob, 2532 και and 1814.4 εξανήλωσαν completely consumed 3588 τον   * Ισραήλ Israel, 2532 και and 3588 την   3542-1473 νομήν αυτού [²his pasture 2049 ηρήμωσαν ¹made desolate].
