Acts 22:1-21

  22:1   435 άνδρες Men, 80 αδελφοί brethren, 2532 και and 3962 πατέρες fathers, 191 ακούσατέ hear 1473 μου my 3588 της   4314 προς [²to 1473 υμάς ³you 3568 νυν ⁴now 627 απολογίας ¹defense]!   22:2   191-1161 ακούσαντες δε And hearing 3754 ότι that 3588 τη in the * Εβραϊδι Hebrew 1258 διαλέκτω dialect 4377 προσεφώνει he called out to 1473 αυτοίς them, 3123 μάλλον the more 3930 παρέσχον they made 2271 ησυχίαν rest.   22:3   2532 και And 5346 φησίν he says, 1473 εγώ I 3303 μεν indeed 1510.2.1 ειμι am 435 ανήρ a man, * Ιουδαίος a Jew, 1080 γεγεννημένος being born 1722 εν in * Ταρσώ Tarsus 3588 της   * Κιλικίας of Cilicia, 397-1161 ανατεθραμμένος δε but being reared 1722 εν in 3588 τη   4172-3778 πόλει ταύτη this city 3844 παρά by 3588 τους the 4228 πόδας feet * Γαμαλιήλ of Gamaliel, 3811 πεπαιδευμένος being instructed 2596 κατά according to 195 ακρίβειαν the exactness 3588 του of the 3971 πατρώου paternal 3551 νόμου law, 2207 ζηλωτής [²zealous 5224 υπάρχων ¹being] 3588 του   2316 θεού of God, 2531 καθώς as 3956 πάντες all 1473 υμείς you 1510.2.5 εστε are 4594 σήμερον today;   22:4   3739 ος one who 3778 ταύτην [²this 3588 την   3598 οδόν ³way 1377 εδίωξα ¹persecuted] 891 άχρι unto 2288 θανάτου death, 1195 δεσμεύων binding 2532 και and 3860 παραδιδούς delivering up 1519 εις unto 5438 φυλακάς prisons 435-5037 άνδρας τε both men 2532 και and 1135 γυναίκας women;   22:5   5613 ως as 2532 και also 3588 ο the 749 αρχιερεύς chief priest 3140 μαρτυρεί bears witness 1473 μοι to me, 2532 και and 3956 παν all 3588 το the 4244 πρεσβυτέριον council of elders; 3844 παρ΄ by 3739 ων whom 2532 και also 1992 επιστολάς letters 1209 δεξάμενος having received, 4314 προς [²to 3588 τους ³the 80 αδελφούς ⁴brethren 1519 εις ⁵in * Δαμασκόν ⁶Damascus 4198 επορευόμην ¹I went], 71 άξων for leading 2532 και also 3588 τους the ones 1566 εκείσε at that place 1510.6 όντας being 1210 δεδεμένους bound 1519 εις unto * Ιερουσαλήμ Jerusalem, 2443 ίνα that 5097 τιμωρηθώσιν they should be punished.   22:6   1096-1161 εγένετο δε And it happened 1473 μοι to me 4198 πορευομένω going 2532 και and 1448 εγγίζοντι approaching 3588 τη   * Δαμασκώ to Damascus 4012 περί around 3314 μεσημβρίαν midday, 1810 εξαίφνης suddenly 1537 εκ from out of 3588 του the 3772 ουρανού heaven 4015 περιαστράψαι flashed about 5457 φως a light, 2425 ικανόν a fit amount 4012 περί around 1473 εμέ me.   22:7   4098-5037 έπεσόν τε And I fell 1519 εις onto 3588 το the 1475 έδαφος ground, 2532 και and 191 ήκουσα I heard 5456 φωνής a voice 3004 λεγούσης saying 1473 μοι to me, * Σαούλ Saul, * Σαούλ Saul, 5100 τι why 1473-1377 με διώκεις do you persecute me?   22:8   1473-1161 εγώ δε And I 611 απεκρίθην answered, 5100 τις Who 1510.2.2 ει are you, 2962 κύριε O Lord? 2036-5037 είπέ τε And he said 4314 προς to 1473 με me, 1473 εγώ I 1510.2.1 ειμι am * Ιησούς Jesus 3588 ο the * Ναζωραίος Nazarene, 3739 ον whom 1473 συ you 1377 διώκεις persecute.   22:9   3588-1161 οι δε And the ones 4862 συν [²with 1473 εμοί ³me 1510.6 όντες ¹being] 3588 το   3303 μεν indeed 5457 φως [²a light 2300 εθεάσαντο ¹saw], 2532 και and 1719 έμφοβοι [²thrown into fear 1096 εγένοντο ¹became]; 3588 την [⁴the 1161 δε ¹but 5456 φωνήν ⁵voice 3756 ουκ ²they did not 191 ήκουσαν ³hear] 3588 του of the one 2980 λαλούντός speaking 1473 μοι to me.   22:10   2036-1161 είπον δε And I said, 5100 τι What 4160 ποιήσω shall I do, 2962 κύριε O Lord? 3588 ο   1161 δε And 2962 κύριος the Lord 2036 είπε said 4314 προς to 1473 με me, 450 αναστάς Having risen up, 4198 πορεύου go 1519 εις unto * Δαμασκόν Damascus! 2546 κακεί and there 1473-2980 σοι λαληθήσεται it shall be told to you 4012 περί concerning 3956 πάντων all the things 3739 ων which 5021 τέτακταί is arranged 1473 σοι for you 4160 ποιήσαι to do.   22:11   5613-1161 ως δε And as 3756 ουκ I did not 1689 ενέβλεπον look at anything 575 από because of 3588 της the 1391 δόξης glory 3588 του   5457-1565 φωτός εκείνου of that light, 5496 χειραγωγούμενος being led by the hand 5259 υπό by 3588 των the ones 4895 συνόντων being with 1473 μοι me, 2064 ήλθον I came 1519 εις unto * Δαμασκόν Damascus.   22:12   * Ανανίας [³Ananias 1161 δε ¹And 5100 τις ²a certain], 435 ανήρ [²man 2152 ευσεβής ¹a pious] 2596 κατά according to 3588 τον the 3551 νόμον law, 3140 μαρτυρούμενος borne witness to 5259 υπό by 3956 πάντων all 3588 των the 2730 κατοικούντων [²dwelling 1722 εν ³in * Δαμασκώ ⁴Damascus * Ιουδαίων ¹Jews],   22:13   2064 ελθών having come 4314 προς to 1473 με me, 2532 και and 2186 επιστάς having stood by, 2036 είπέ said 1473 μοι to me, *-80 Σαούλ αδελφέ O brother Saul, 308 ανάβλεψον look up! 2504 καγώ And I 1473-3588 αυτή τη the same 5610 ώρα hour 308 ανέβλεψα looked up 1519 εις on 1473 αυτόν him.   22:14   3588 ο   1161 δε And 2036 είπεν he said, 3588 ο The 2316 θεός God 3588 των   3962-1473 πατέρων ημών of our fathers 4400 προεχειρίσατό handpicked 1473 σε you 1097 γνώναι to know 3588 το   2307-1473 θέλημα αυτού his will, 2532 και and 1492 ιδείν to behold 3588 τον the 1342 δίκαιον just one, 2532 και and 191 ακούσαι to hear 5456 φωνήν the voice 1537 εκ from out of 3588 του   4750-1473 στόματος αυτού his mouth;   22:15   3754 ότι for 1510.8.2 έση you will be 3144 μάρτυς a witness 1473 αυτώ to him 4314 προς to 3956 πάντας all 444 ανθρώπους men 3739 ων of what 3708 εώρακας you have seen 2532 και and 191 ήκουσας heard.   22:16   2532 και And 3568 νυν now, 5100 τι why 3195 μέλλεις be about to? 450 αναστάς Having arisen, 907 βάπτισαι be immersed 2532 και and 628 απόλουσαι wash off 3588 τας   266-1473 αμαρτίας σου your sins, 1941 επικαλεσάμενος calling upon 3588 το the 3686 όνομα name 3588 του of the 2962 κυρίου Lord.   22:17   1096-1161 εγένετο δε And it happened 1473 μοι to me 5290 υποστρέψαντι in returning 1519 εις unto * Ιερουσαλήμ Jerusalem, 2532 και and 4336-1473 προσευχομένου μου my praying 1722 εν in 3588 τω the 2413 ιερώ temple, 1096 γενέσθαι there took place 1473-1722 με εν in me 1611 εκστάσει a change of state,   22:18   2532 και and 1492 ιδείν beholding 1473 αυτόν him 3004 λέγοντά saying 1473 μοι to me, 4692 σπεύσον Hasten 2532 και and 1831 έξελθε go forth 1722 εν   5034 τάχει quickly 1537 εξ from * Ιερουσαλήμ Jerusalem! 1360 διότι because 3756 ου they will not 3858 παραδέξονταί welcome 1473 σου your 3588 την   3141 μαρτυρίαν testimony 4012 περί concerning 1473 εμού me.   22:19   2504 καγώ And I 2036 είπον said, 2962 κύριε O Lord, 1473 αυτοί they 1987 επίστανται know 3754 ότι that 1473 εγώ I 1510.7.1 ήμην was 5439 φυλακίζων casting into prison 2532 και and 1194 δέρων flaying 2596 κατά against 3588 τας the 4864 συναγωγάς synagogues 3588 τους of the ones 4100 πιστεύοντας believing 1909 επί upon 1473 σε you.   22:20   2532 και And 3753 ότε when 1632 εξεχείτο [⁵was poured out 3588 το ¹the 129 αίμα ²blood * Στεφάνου ³of Stephen 3588 του   3144-1473 μάρτυρός σου ⁴your witness], 2532 και also 1473 αυτός I myself 1510.7.1 ήμην was 2186 εφεστώς standing by, 2532 και and 4909 συνευδοκών assenting with 3588 τη   336-1473 αναιρέσει αυτού his removal, 5442 φυλάσσων guarding 3588 τα the 2440 ιμάτια garments 3588 των of the ones 337 αναιρούντων doing away with 1473 αυτόν him.   22:21   2532 και And 2036 είπε he said 4314 προς to 1473 με me, 4198 πορεύου Go! 3754 ότι for 1473 εγώ I 1519 εις [³unto 1484 έθνη ⁴nations 3112 μακράν ⁵far off 1821 εξαποστελώ ¹shall send 1473 σε ²you]!
