3 H7725 וישׁב again H1129 ויבן For he built up H853 את H1116 הבמות the high places H834 אשׁר which H6 אבד had destroyed; H2396 חזקיהו Hezekiah H1 אביו his father H6965 ויקם and he reared up H4196 מזבחת altars H1168 לבעל for Baal, H6213 ויעשׂ and made H842 אשׁרה a grove, H834 כאשׁר as H6213 עשׂה did H256 אחאב Ahab H4428 מלך king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H7812 וישׁתחו and worshiped H3605 לכל all H6635 צבא the host H8064 השׁמים of heaven, H5647 ויעבד and served H853 אתם׃

4 H1129 ובנה And he built H4196 מזבחת altars H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר of which H559 אמר said, H3068 יהוה the LORD H3389 בירושׁלם In Jerusalem H7760 אשׂים will I put H853 את H8034 שׁמי׃ my name.

5 H1129 ויבן And he built H4196 מזבחות altars H3605 לכל for all H6635 צבא the host H8064 השׁמים of heaven H8147 בשׁתי in the two H2691 חצרות courts H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

6 H5674 והעביר pass through H853 את H1121 בנו And he made his son H784 באשׁ the fire, H6049 ועונן and observed times, H5172 ונחשׁ and used enchantments, H6213 ועשׂה and dealt H178 אוב with familiar spirits H3049 וידענים and wizards: H7235 הרבה much H6213 לעשׂות he wrought H7451 הרע wickedness H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3707 להכעיס׃ to provoke to anger.

7 H7760 וישׂם And he set H853 את H6459 פסל a graven image H842 האשׁרה of the grove H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה he had made H1004 בבית in the house, H834 אשׁר of which H559 אמר said H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אל to H1732 דוד David, H413 ואל and to H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H1121 בנו his son, H1004 בבית house, H2088 הזה In this H3389 ובירושׁלם and in Jerusalem, H834 אשׁר which H977 בחרתי I have chosen H3605 מכל out of all H7626 שׁבטי tribes H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7760 אשׂים will I put H853 את H8034 שׁמי my name H5769 לעולם׃ forever:

8 H3808 ולא Neither H3254 אסיף any more H5110 להניד move H7272 רגל will I make the feet H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H4480 מן out of H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתי I gave H1 לאבותם their fathers; H7535 רק only H518 אם if H8104 ישׁמרו they will observe H6213 לעשׂות to do H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H6680 צויתים I have commanded H3605 ולכל them, and according to all H8451 התורה the law H834 אשׁר that H6680 צוה commanded H853 אתם H5650 עבדי my servant H4872 משׁה׃ Moses

9 H3808 ולא not: H8085 שׁמעו But they hearkened H8582 ויתעם seduced H4519 מנשׁה and Manasseh H6213 לעשׂות them to do H853 את H7451 הרע more evil H4480 מן than H1471 הגוים did the nations H834 אשׁר whom H8045 השׁמיד destroyed H3068 יהוה the LORD H6440 מפני before H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

10 H1696 וידבר spoke H3068 יהוה And the LORD H3027 ביד by H5650 עבדיו his servants H5030 הנביאים the prophets, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

11 H3282 יען H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה hath done H4519 מנשׁה Manasseh H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah H8441 התעבות abominations, H428 האלה these H7489 הרע hath done wickedly H3605 מכל above all H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂו did, H567 האמרי the Amorites H834 אשׁר H6440 לפניו before H2398 ויחטא to sin H1571 גם also H853 את H3063 יהודה him, and hath made Judah H1544 בגלוליו׃ with his idols:

7 H7760 וישׂם And he set H853 את H6459 פסל a carved image, H5566 הסמל the idol H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה he had made, H1004 בבית in the house H430 האלהים of God, H834 אשׁר of which H559 אמר had said H430 אלהים God H413 אל to H1732 דויד David H413 ואל and to H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H1121 בנו his son, H1004 בבית house, H2088 הזה In this H3389 ובירושׁלם and in Jerusalem, H834 אשׁר which H970 בחרתי H3605 מכל before all H7626 שׁבטי the tribes H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7760 אשׂים will I put H853 את H8034 שׁמי my name H5865 לעילום׃ forever:

4 H5422 וינתצו And they broke down H6440 לפניו in his presence; H853 את H4196 מזבחות the altars H1168 הבעלים of Baalim H2553 והחמנים and the images, H834 אשׁר that H4605 למעלה on high H5921 מעליהם above H1438 גדע them, he cut down; H842 והאשׁרים and the groves, H6456 והפסלים and the carved images, H4541 והמסכות and the molten images, H7665 שׁבר he broke in pieces, H1854 והדק and made dust H2236 ויזרק and strewed H5921 על upon H6440 פני upon H6913 הקברים the graves H2076 הזבחים׃ of them that had sacrificed

Isaiah 44:13-20

14 H3772 לכרת He heweth him down H730 לו ארזים cedars, H3947 ויקח and taketh H8645 תרזה the cypress H437 ואלון and the oak, H553 ויאמץ which he strengtheneth H6086 לו בעצי for himself among the trees H3293 יער of the forest: H5193 נטע he planteth H766 ארן an ash, H1653 וגשׁם and the rain H1431 יגדל׃ doth nourish

15 H1961 והיה Then shall it be H120 לאדם for a man H1197 לבער to burn: H3947 ויקח for he will take H1992 מהם H2552 ויחם and warm H637 אף himself; yea, H5400 ישׂיק he kindleth H644 ואפה and baketh H3899 לחם bread; H637 אף yea, H6466 יפעל he maketh H410 אל a god, H7812 וישׁתחו and worshipeth H6213 עשׂהו he maketh H6459 פסל it a graven image, H5456 ויסגד׃ and falleth down

18 H3808 לא They have not H3045 ידעו known H3808 ולא nor H995 יבינו understood: H3588 כי for H2902 טח he hath shut H7200 מראות that they cannot see; H5869 עיניהם their eyes, H7919 מהשׂכיל that they cannot understand. H3826 לבתם׃

19 H3808 ולא And none H7725 ישׁיב considereth H413 אל in H3820 לבו his heart, H3808 ולא neither H1847 דעת knowledge H3808 ולא nor H8394 תבונה understanding H559 לאמר to say, H2677 חציו part H8313 שׂרפתי I have burned H1119 במו of it in H784 אשׁ the fire; H637 ואף yea, H644 אפיתי also I have baked H5921 על upon H1513 גחליו the coals H3899 לחם bread H6740 אצלה thereof; I have roasted H1320 בשׂר flesh, H398 ואכל and eaten H3499 ויתרו the residue H8441 לתועבה thereof an abomination? 20 H7462 רעה He feedeth H665 אפר on ashes: H3820 לב heart H2048 הותל a deceived H5186 הטהו hath turned him aside, H3808 ולא that he cannot H5337 יציל deliver H853 את H5315 נפשׁו his soul, H3808 ולא nor H559 יאמר say, H3808 הלוא not H8267 שׁקר a lie H3225 בימיני׃ in my right hand?
