Thomson(i) 12 If wickedness be sweet in his mouth, he will hide it under his tongue. 13 He will not be sparing of it, nor forsake it, but will gather it together in his mouth; therefore let him not be able to help himself. 14 The poison of an asp is in his belly. 15 Riches collected unrighteously shall be vomited up. Out of his house let an angel drag him. 16 May he suck the venom of dragons! and may the tongue of the viper slay him! 17 may he never see the milking of his kine, nor the distribution of his honey and butter! 18 He hath wearied himself for emptiness and vanity; for riches, of which he shall not have a taste, which are like a bur, neither to be chewed nor drunk. 19 Because he broke up the families of princes; and plundered dwellings and suffered them not to stand 20 There is no security for his possessions; nor shall he be saved by what he valueth highly.
Webster(i) 12 Though wickedness may be sweet in his mouth, though he may hide it under his tongue; 13 Though he may spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth: 14 Yet his food in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him. 15 He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly. 16 He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him. 17 He shall not see the river, the floods, the brooks of honey and buttermilk. 18 That which he labored for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice in it. 19 Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away a house which he did not build. 20 Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.

Leeser(i) 12 If the evil be sweet in his mouth, he will conceal it under his tongue; 13 He will cherish it, and not forsake it; and hold it back within his palate; 14 His food is thus changed within his bowels, and becometh the venom of asps within him. 15 The wealth which he hath swallowed, will he have to vomit up again; God will drive it out of his belly. 16 The poison of asps will he have to suck; the viper’s tongue will slay him. 17 He shall not look with pleasure on streams, on flowing brooks of honey and cream. 18 He restoreth what he hath labored for, and will not swallow it down; however much he may have obtained by toil, he will not have any joy of it. 19 Because he oppressed and forsook the indigent; because he took violently away a house, shall he not rebuild it; 20 Because he knew not quietness in his bosom, shall he not escape through what is the most precious to him.
YLT(i) 12 Though he doth sweeten evil in his mouth, Doth hide it under his tongue, 13 Hath pity on it, and doth not forsake it, And keep it back in the midst of his palate, 14 His food in his bowels is turned, The bitterness of asps is in his heart. 15 Wealth he hath swallowed, and doth vomit it. From his belly God driveth it out. 16 Gall of asps he sucketh, Slay him doth the tongue of a viper. 17 He looketh not on rivulets, Flowing of brooks of honey and butter. 18 He is giving back what he laboured for, And doth not consume it; As a bulwark is his exchange, and he exults not. 19 For he oppressed—he forsook the poor, A house he hath taken violently away, And he doth not build it. 20 For he hath not known ease in his belly.
