Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁰ Zaharia, fiul preotului Iehoiada, a fost îmbrăcat cu Duhul lui Dumnezeu. El s'a înfăţişat înaintea poporului şi i -a zis:,,Aşa vorbeşte Dumnezeu:,,Pentruce călcaţi poruncile Domnului? Nu veţi propăşi. Pentrucă aţi părăsit pe Domnul, şi El vă va părăsi.`` ²¹ Şi au uneltit împotriva lui, şi l-au ucis cu pietre, din porunca împăratului, în curtea Casei Domnului. ²² Împăratul Ioas nu şi -a adus aminte de bunăvoinţa pe care o avusese faţă de el Iehoiada, tatăl lui Zaharia, şi a omorît pe fiul lui. Zaharia a zis cînd a murit:,,Domnul să vadă, şi să judece!``

Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁰ А Дух Господній огорнув Захарія, сина священика Єгояди, і він став перед народом та й сказав до них: Так сказав Бог: Чому ви переступаєте Господні заповіти? Ви не матимете успіху, бо ви покинули Господа, то й Він покинув вас!... ²¹ І змовилися вони на нього, і закидали його камінням з царського наказу в подвір'ї Господнього дому... ²² І не пам'ятав цар Йоаш тієї милости, яку зробив був із ним батько того Єгояда, але вбив сина його. А як той умирав, то сказав: Нехай побачить Господь, і нехай покарає!...
