Ezekiel 28 The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,

1 H1697 The word H3068 of Yahweh H559 came again to me, saying,

2 H1121 Son H120 of man, H559 tell H5057 the prince H6865 of Tyre, H559 Thus says H136 the Lord H3069 Yahweh: H3820 Because your heart H1361 is lifted up, H559 and you have said, H410 I am a god, H3427 I sit H4186 in the seat H430 of God, H3820 in the midst H3220 of the seas; H120 yet you are man, H410 and not God, H5414 though you set H3820 your heart H3820 as the heart H430 of God—

3 H2450 behold, you are wiser H1840 than Daniel; H5640 there is no secret H5640 that is hidden from you;

4 H2451 by your wisdom H8394 and by your understanding H6213 you have gotten H2428 yourself riches, H6213 and have gotten H2091 gold H3701 and silver H214 into your treasures;

5 H7230 by your great H2451 wisdom H7404 and by your traffic H7235 you have increased H2428 your riches, H3824 and your heart H1361 is lifted up H2428 because of your riches—

6 H559 therefore thus says H136 the Lord H3069 Yahweh: H5414 Because you have set H3820 your heart H3824 as the heart H430 of God,

7 H935 therefore, behold, I will bring H2114 strangers H6184 on you, the terrible H1471 of the nations; H7324 and they shall draw H2719 their swords H3308 against the beauty H2451 of your wisdom, H2490 and they shall defile H3314 your brightness.

8 H3381 They shall bring you down H7845 to the pit; H4191 and you shall die H4463 the death H2491 of those who are slain, H3820 in the heart H3220 of the seas.

9 H559 Will you yet H559 say H6440 before H2026 him who kills H430 you, I am God? H120 but you are man, H410 and not God, H3027 in the hand H2490 of him who wounds you.

10 H4191 You shall die H4194 the death H6189 of the uncircumcised H3027 by the hand H2114 of strangers: H1696 for I have spoken H5002 it, says H136 the Lord H3069 Yahweh.

11 H1697 Moreover the word H3068 of Yahweh H559 came to me, saying,

12 H1121 Son H120 of man, H5375 take up H7015 a lamentation H4428 over the king H6865 of Tyre, H559 and tell H559 him, Thus says H136 the Lord H3069 Yahweh: H2856 You seal up H8508 the sum, H4392 full H2451 of wisdom, H3632 and perfect H3308 in beauty.

13 H5731 You were in Eden, H1588 the garden H430 of God; H3368 every precious H68 stone H4540 adorned H124 you: ruby, H6357 topaz, H3095 emerald, H8658 chrysolite, H7718 onyx, H3471 jasper, H5601 sapphire, H5306 turquoise, H1304 and beryl. H2091 Gold H4399 work H8596 of tambourines H5345 and of pipes H3117 was in you. In the day H1254 that you were created H3559 they were prepared.

14 H4473 You were the anointed H3742 cherub H5526 who covers: H5414 and I set H6944 you, so that you were on the holy H2022 mountain H430 of God; H1980 you have walked up and down H8432 in the midst H68 of the stones H784 of fire.

15 H8549 You were perfect H1870 in your ways H3117 from the day H1254 that you were created, H5766 until unrighteousness H4672 was found in you.

16 H7230 By the abundance H7404 of your traffic H4390 they filled H8432 the midst H2555 of you with violence, H2398 and you have sinned: H2490 therefore I have cast you as profane H2022 out of the mountain H430 of God; H6 and I have destroyed H5526 you, covering H3742 cherub, H8432 from the midst H68 of the stones H784 of fire.

17 H3820 Your heart H1361 was lifted up H3308 because of your beauty; H7843 you have corrupted H2451 your wisdom H5921 by reason of H3314 your brightness: H7993 I have cast H776 you to the ground; H5414 I have laid H6440 you before H4428 kings, H7200 that they may see you.

18 H7230 By the multitude H5771 of your iniquities, H5766 in the unrighteousness H7404 of your traffic, H2490 you have profaned H4720 your sanctuaries; H3318 therefore have I brought forth H784 a fire H8432 from the midst H398 of you; it has devoured H5414 you, and I have turned H665 you to ashes H776 on the earth H5869 in the sight H7200 of all those who see you.

19 H3045 All those who know H5971 you among the peoples H8074 shall be astonished H1091 at you: you have become a terror, H369 and you shall H5704 nevermore have any being.

20 H1697 The word H3068 of Yahweh H559 came to me, saying,

21 H1121 Son H120 of man, H7760 set H6440 your face H6721 toward Sidon, H5012 and prophesy against it,

22 H559 and say, H559 Thus says H136 the Lord H136 Yahweh: H6721 Behold, I am against you, Sidon; H3513 and I will be glorified H8432 in the midst H3045 of you; and they shall know H3068 that I am Yahweh, H6213 when I shall have executed H8201 judgments H6942 in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

23 H7971 For I will send H1698 pestilence H1818 into her, and blood H2351 into her streets; H2491 and the wounded H5307 shall fall H8432 in the midst H2719 of her, with the sword H5439 on her on every side; H3045 and they shall know H3068 that I am Yahweh.

24 H3992 There shall be no more a pricking H5544 brier H1004 to the house H3478 of Israel, H3510 nor a hurting H6975 thorn H5439 of any that are around H7590 them, that scorned H3045 them; and they shall know H136 that I am the Lord H3069 Yahweh.

25 H559 Thus says H136 the Lord H3069 Yahweh: H6908 When I shall have gathered H1004 the house H3478 of Israel H5971 from the peoples H6327 among whom they are scattered, H6942 and shall be sanctified H5869 in them in the sight H1471 of the nations, H3427 then shall they dwell H127 in their own land H5414 which I gave H5650 to my servant H3290 Jacob.

26 H3427 They shall dwell H983 securely H1129 therein; yes, they shall build H1004 houses, H5193 and plant H3754 vineyards, H3427 and shall dwell H983 securely, H6213 when I have executed H8201 judgments H7590 on all those who do them despite H5439 all around H3045 them; and they shall know H3068 that I am Yahweh H430 their God.
