Ezekiel 5:1-17 And thou, son of man , take thee a sharp knife , take thee a barber's razor , and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard : then take thee balances to weigh , and divide the hair .

2 H1197 Thou shalt burn [H8686] H217 with fire H7992 a third part H8432 in the midst H5892 of the city H3117 , when the days H4692 of the siege H4390 are fulfilled [H8800] H3947 : and thou shalt take [H8804] H7992 a third part H5221 , and smite [H8686] H5439 about H2719 it with a knife H7992 : and a third part H2219 thou shalt scatter [H8799] H7307 in the wind H7324 ; and I will draw out [H8686] H2719 a sword H310 after them.

3 H3947 Thou shalt also take [H8804] H4592 thereof a few H4557 in number H6696 , and bind [H8804] H3671 them in thy skirts.

4 H3947 Then take of them again [H8799] H7993 , and cast [H8689] H8432 them into the midst H784 of the fire H8313 , and burn [H8804] H784 them in the fire H784 ; for thereof shall a fire H3318 come forth [H8799] H1004 into all the house H3478 of Israel.

5 H559 Thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H3389 ; This is Jerusalem H7760 : I have set [H8804] H8432 it in the midst H1471 of the nations H776 and countries H5439 that are round about her.

6 H4784 And she hath changed [H8686] H4941 my judgments H7564 into wickedness H1471 more than the nations H2708 , and my statutes H776 more than the countries H5439 that are round about H3988 her: for they have refused [H8804] H4941 my judgments H2708 and my statutes H1980 , they have not walked [H8804] in them.

7 H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H1995 ; Because ye multiplied [H8800] H1471 more than the nations H5439 that are round about H1980 you, and have not walked [H8804] H2708 in my statutes H6213 , neither have kept [H8804] H4941 my judgments H6213 , neither have done [H8804] H4941 according to the judgments H1471 of the nations H5439 that are round about you;

8 H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H6213 ; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute [H8804] H4941 judgments H8432 in the midst H5869 of thee in the sight H1471 of the nations.

9 H6213 And I will do [H8804] H6213 in thee that which I have not done [H8804] H6213 , and whereunto I will not do [H8799] H3282 any more the like, because H8441 of all thine abominations.

10 H1 Therefore the fathers H398 shall eat [H8799] H1121 the sons H8432 in the midst H1121 of thee, and the sons H398 shall eat [H8799] H1 their fathers H6213 ; and I will execute [H8804] H8201 judgments H7611 in thee, and the whole remnant H2219 of thee will I scatter [H8765] H7307 into all the winds.

11 H2416 Wherefore, as I live H5002 , saith [H8803] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H2930 ; Surely, because thou hast defiled [H8765] H4720 my sanctuary H8251 with all thy detestable things H8441 , and with all thine abominations H1639 , therefore will I also diminish [H8799] H5869 thee; neither shall mine eye H2347 spare [H8799] H2550 , neither will I have any pity [H8799] .

12 H7992 A third part H4191 of thee shall die [H8799] H1698 with the pestilence H7458 , and with famine H3615 shall they be consumed [H8799] H8432 in the midst H7992 of thee: and a third part H5307 shall fall [H8799] H2719 by the sword H5439 round about H2219 thee; and I will scatter [H8762] H7992 a third part H7307 into all the winds H7324 , and I will draw out [H8686] H2719 a sword H310 after them.

13 H639 Thus shall mine anger H3615 be accomplished [H8804] H2534 , and I will cause my fury H5117 to rest [H8689] H5162 upon them, and I will be comforted [H8694] H3045 : and they shall know [H8804] H3068 that I the LORD H1696 have spoken [H8765] H7068 it in my zeal H3615 , when I have accomplished [H8763] H2534 my fury in them.

14 H5414 Moreover I will make [H8799] H2723 thee waste H2781 , and a reproach H1471 among the nations H5439 that are round about H5869 thee, in the sight H5674 of all that pass by [H8802] .

15 H2781 So it shall be a reproach H1422 and a taunt H4148 , an instruction H4923 and an astonishment H1471 unto the nations H5439 that are round about H6213 thee, when I shall execute [H8800] H8201 judgments H639 in thee in anger H2534 and in fury H2534 and in furious H8433 rebukes H3068 . I the LORD H1696 have spoken [H8765] it .

16 H7971 When I shall send [H8762] H7451 upon them the evil H2671 arrows H7458 of famine H4889 , which shall be for their destruction H7971 , and which I will send [H8763] H7843 to destroy [H8763] H3254 you: and I will increase [H8686] H7458 the famine H7665 upon you, and will break [H8804] H4294 your staff H3899 of bread:

17 H7971 So will I send [H8765] H7458 upon you famine H7451 and evil H2416 beasts H7921 , and they shall bereave [H8765] H1698 thee; and pestilence H1818 and blood H5674 shall pass through [H8799] H935 thee; and I will bring [H8686] H2719 the sword H3068 upon thee.
