Isaiah 63

KJV_Strongs(i)
H935 Who is this that cometh [H8802]   H123 from Edom H2556 , with dyed [H8803]   H899 garments H1224 from Bozrah H1921 ? this that is glorious [H8803]   H3830 in his apparel H6808 , travelling [H8802]   H7230 in the greatness H3581 of his strength H1696 ? I that speak [H8764]   H6666 in righteousness H7227 , mighty H3467 to save [H8687]  .
H122 Wherefore art thou red H3830 in thine apparel H899 , and thy garments H1869 like him that treadeth [H8802]   H1660 in the winefat?
H1869 I have trodden [H8804]   H6333 the winepress H5971 alone; and of the people H376 there was none H1869 with me: for I will tread [H8799]   H639 them in mine anger H7429 , and trample [H8799]   H2534 them in my fury H5332 ; and their blood H5137 shall be sprinkled [H8799]   H899 upon my garments H1351 , and I will stain [H8689]   H4403 all my raiment.
H3117 For the day H5359 of vengeance H3820 is in mine heart H8141 , and the year H1350 of my redeemed [H8803]   H935 is come [H8804]  .
H5027 And I looked [H8686]   H5826 , and there was none to help [H8802]   H8074 ; and I wondered [H8709]   H5564 that there was none to uphold [H8802]   H2220 : therefore mine own arm H3467 brought salvation [H8686]   H2534 unto me; and my fury H5564 , it upheld [H8804]   me.
H947 And I will tread down [H8799]   H5971 the people H639 in mine anger H7937 , and make them drunk [H8762]   H2534 in my fury H3381 , and I will bring down [H8686]   H5332 their strength H776 to the earth.
H2142 I will mention [H8686]   H2617 the lovingkindnesses H3068 of the LORD H8416 , and the praises H3068 of the LORD H3068 , according to all that the LORD H1580 hath bestowed [H8804]   H7227 on us, and the great H2898 goodness H1004 toward the house H3478 of Israel H1580 , which he hath bestowed [H8804]   H7356 on them according to his mercies H7230 , and according to the multitude H2617 of his lovingkindnesses.
H559 For he said [H8799]   H5971 , Surely they are my people H1121 , children H8266 that will not lie [H8762]   H3467 : so he was their Saviour [H8688]  .
H6869 In all their affliction H6862 he was afflicted H4397 , and the angel H6440 of his presence H3467 saved [H8689]   H160 them: in his love H2551 and in his pity H1350 he redeemed [H8804]   H5190 them; and he bare [H8762]   H5375 them, and carried [H8762]   H3117 them all the days H5769 of old.
H4784 But they rebelled [H8804]   H6087 , and vexed [H8765]   H6944 his holy H7307 Spirit H2015 : therefore he was turned [H8735]   H341 to be their enemy [H8802]   H3898 , and he fought [H8738]   against them.
H2142 Then he remembered [H8799]   H3117 the days H5769 of old H4872 , Moses H5971 , and his people H5927 , saying, Where is he that brought them up [H8688]   H3220 out of the sea H7462 with the shepherd [H8802]   H6629 of his flock H7760 ? where is he that put [H8802]   H6944 his holy H7307 Spirit H7130 within him?
H3212 That led [H8688]   H3225 them by the right hand H4872 of Moses H8597 with his glorious H2220 arm H1234 , dividing [H8802]   H4325 the water H6440 before H6213 them, to make [H8800]   H5769 himself an everlasting H8034 name?
H3212 That led [H8688]   H8415 them through the deep H5483 , as an horse H4057 in the wilderness H3782 , that they should not stumble [H8735]  ?
H929 As a beast H3381 goeth down [H8799]   H1237 into the valley H7307 , the Spirit H3068 of the LORD H5117 caused him to rest [H8686]   H5090 : so didst thou lead [H8765]   H5971 thy people H6213 , to make [H8800]   H8597 thyself a glorious H8034 name.
H5027 Look down [H8685]   H8064 from heaven H7200 , and behold [H8798]   H2073 from the habitation H6944 of thy holiness H8597 and of thy glory H7068 : where is thy zeal H1369 and thy strength H1995 , the sounding H4578 of thy bowels H7356 and of thy mercies H662 toward me? are they restrained [H8694]  ?
H3588 Doubtless H1 thou art our father H85 , though Abraham H3808 be ignorant H3045   [H8804]   H3478 of us, and Israel H5234 acknowledge [H8686]   H3068 us not: thou, O LORD H1 , art our father H1350 , our redeemer [H8802]   H8034 ; thy name H5769 is from everlasting.
H3068 O LORD H8582 , why hast thou made us to err [H8686]   H1870 from thy ways H7188 , and hardened [H8686]   H3820 our heart H3374 from thy fear H7725 ? Return [H8798]   H5650 for thy servants H7626 ' sake, the tribes H5159 of thine inheritance.
H5971 The people H6944 of thy holiness H3423 have possessed [H8804]   H4705 it but a little while H6862 : our adversaries H947 have trodden down [H8790]   H4720 thy sanctuary.
H5769 We are thine : thou never H4910 barest rule [H8804]   H7121 over them; they were not called [H8738]   H8034 by thy name.
ERV(i) 1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? 3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yea, I trod them in mine anger, and trampled them in my fury; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment. 4 For the day of vengeance was in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. 5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. 6 And I trod down the peoples in mine anger, and made them drunk in my fury, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth. 7 I will make mention of the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, [and] the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us; and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses. 8 For he said, Surely, they are my people, children that will not deal falsely: so he was their saviour. 9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. 10 But they rebelled, and grieved his holy spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, [and] himself fought against them. 11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, [and] his people, [saying], Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? where is he that put his holy spirit in the midst of them? 12 that caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses? that divided the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name? 13 that led them through the depths, as an horse in the wilderness, that they stumbled not? 14 As the cattle that go down into the valley, the spirit of the LORD caused them to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name. 15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy mighty acts? the yearning of thy bowels and thy compassions are restrained toward me. 16 For thou art our father, though Abraham knoweth us not, and Israel doth not acknowledge us: thou, O LORD, art our father; our redeemer from everlasting is thy name. 17 O LORD, why dost thou make us to err from thy ways, and hardenest our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance. 18 Thy holy people possessed [it] but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary. 19 We are become as they over whom thou never barest rule; as they that were not called by thy name.
