Exodus 16:16-35 This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them who are in his tents.

17 H1121 And the sons H3478 of Israel H6213 [H8799] did H3950 [H8799] so, and gathered, H7235 [H8688] some more, H4591 [H8688] some less.

18 H4058 [H8799] And when they measured H6016 it with an omer, H7235 [H8688] he that gathered much H5736 [H8689] had nothing over, H4591 [H8688] and he that gathered little H2637 [H8689] had no lack; H3950 [H8804] they gathered H376 every man H6310 according H400 to his eating.

19 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said, H376 Let no man H3498 [H8686] leave H1242 of it till the morning.

20 H8085 [H8804] However they hearkened H4872 not to Moses; H582 but some H3498 [H8686] of them left H1242 of it until the morning, H7311 [H8799] and it bred H8438 worms, H887 [H8799] and stank: H4872 and Moses H7107 [H8799] burst out in rage with them.

21 H3950 [H8799] And they gathered H1242 it every morning, H376 every man H6310 according H400 to his eating: H8121 and when the sun H2552 [H8804] became hot, H4549 [H8738] it melted.

22 H8345 And it came to pass, that on the sixth H3117 day H3950 [H8804] they gathered H4932 twice H3899 as much bread, H8147 two H6016 omers H259 for one H5387 man: and all the rulers H5712 of the company H935 [H8799] came H5046 [H8686] and told H4872 Moses.

23 H559 [H8799] And he said H3068 to them, This is that which the LORD H1696 [H8765] hath said, H4279 To morrow H7677 is the rest H6944 of the holy H7676 sabbath H3068 to the LORD: H644 [H8798] bake H644 [H8799] that which ye will bake H1310 [H8761] to day, and boil H1310 [H8762] that ye will boil; H3605 and that which H5736 [H8802] remaineth over H3240 [H8685] lay up H4931 for you to be kept H1242 until the morning.

24 H3240 [H8686] And they laid it up H1242 till the morning, H4872 as Moses H6680 [H8765] ordered: H887 [H8689] and it did not stink, H7415 neither was there any worm in it.

25 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said, H398 [H8798] Eat H3117 that to day; H3117 for to day H7676 is a sabbath H3068 to the LORD: H3117 to day H4672 [H8799] ye shall not find H7704 it in the field.

26 H8337 Six H3117 days H3950 [H8799] ye shall gather H7637 it; but on the seventh H3117 day, H7676 which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.

27 H5971 And it came to pass, that some of the people H3318 [H8804] went out H7637 on the seventh H3117 day H3950 [H8800] to gather, H4672 [H8804] and they found none.

28 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses, H3985 [H8765] How long refuse H8104 [H8800] ye to keep H4687 my commandments H8451 and my laws?

29 H7200 [H8798] See, H3068 for that the LORD H5414 [H8804] hath given H7676 you the sabbath, H5414 [H8802] therefore he giveth H8345 you on the sixth H3117 day H3899 the bread H3117 of two days; H3427 [H8798] abide H376 ye every man H376 in his place, let no man H3318 [H8799] go out H4725 of his place H7637 on the seventh H3117 day.

30 H5971 So the people H7673 [H8799] rested H7637 on the seventh H3117 day.

31 H1004 And the house H3478 of Israel H7121 [H8799] called H8034 its name H4478 Manna: H1407 and it was like coriander H2233 seed, H3836 white; H2940 and the taste H6838 of it was like wafers H1706 made with honey.

32 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said, H1697 This is the thing H3068 which the LORD H6680 [H8765] commanded, H4393 Fill H6016 an omer H4931 of it to be kept H1755 for your generations; H7200 [H8799] that they may see H3899 the bread H398 [H8689] that I fed H4057 you in the wilderness, H3318 [H8687] when I brought you forth H776 from the land H4714 of Egypt.

33 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H175 to Aaron, H3947 [H8798] Take H259 a H6803 pot, H5414 [H8798] and put H6016 an omer H4393 full H4478 of manna H3240 [H8685] in it, and lay it up H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD, H4931 to be kept H1755 for your generations.

34 H3068 As the LORD H6680 [H8765] commanded H4872 Moses, H175 so Aaron H3240 [H8686] laid it up H6440 at the face of H5715 the Testimony, H4931 to be kept.

35 H1121 And the sons H3478 of Israel H398 [H8804] ate H4478 manna H705 forty H8141 years, H935 [H8800] until they came H776 to a land H3427 [H8737] inhabited; H398 [H8804] they ate H4478 manna, H935 [H8800] until they came H7097 to the borders H776 of the land H3667 of Canaan.
