Matthew 15:2-9

  2 G1302 Why G4675 do thy G3101 disciples G3845 transgress [G5719]   G3862 the tradition G4245 of the elders G1063 ? for G3538 they wash [G5731]   G3756 not G846 their G5495 hands G3752 when G2068 they eat [G5725]   G740 bread.

  3 G1161 But G611 he answered [G5679]   G2036 and said [G5627]   G846 unto them G1302 , Why G5210 do ye G2532 also G3845 transgress [G5719]   G1785 the commandment G2316 of God G1223 by G5216 your G3862 tradition?

  4 G1063 For G2316 God G1781 commanded [G5662]   G3004 , saying [G5723]   G5091 , Honour [G5720]   G4675 thy G3962 father G2532 and G3384 mother G2532 : and G2551 , He that curseth [G5723]   G3962 father G2228 or G3384 mother G5053 , let him die [G5720]   G2288 the death.

  5 G1161 But G5210 ye G3004 say [G5719]   G3739 , Whosoever G302   G2036 shall say [G5632]   G3962 to his father G2228 or G3384 his mother G1435 , It is a gift G1537 , by G3739 whatsoever G1437   G5623 thou mightest be profited [G5686]   G1700 by me;

  6 G2532 And G5091 honour [G5661]   G3364 not G846 his G3962 father G2228 or G846 his G3384 mother G2532 , he shall be free . Thus G208 have ye made G1785 the commandment G2316 of God G208 of none effect [G5656]   G1223 by G5216 your G3862 tradition.

  7 G5273 Ye hypocrites G2573 , well G4395 did G2268 Esaias G4395 prophesy [G5656]   G4012 of G5216 you G3004 , saying [G5723]  ,

  8 G3778 This G2992 people G1448 draweth nigh [G5719]   G3427 unto me G846 with their G4750 mouth G2532 , and G5091 honoureth [G5719]   G3165 me G5491 with their lips G1161 ; but G846 their G2588 heart G568 is [G5719]   G4206 far G575 from G1700 me.

  9 G1161 But G3155 in vain G4576 they do worship [G5736]   G3165 me G1321 , teaching [G5723]   G1319 for doctrines G1778 the commandments G444 of men.
