KJV_Strongs(i)
H7563 The wicked H5127 flee [H8804]   H7291 when no man pursueth [H8802]   H6662 : but the righteous H982 are bold [H8799]   H3715 as a lion.
H6588 For the transgression H776 of a land H7227 many H8269 are the princes H120 thereof: but by a man H995 of understanding [H8688]   H3045 and knowledge [H8802]   H3651 the state H748 thereof shall be prolonged [H8686]  .
H7326 A poor [H8802]   H1397 man H6231 that oppresseth [H8802]   H1800 the poor H5502 is like a sweeping [H8802]   H4306 rain H3899 which leaveth no food.
H5800 They that forsake [H8802]   H8451 the law H1984 praise [H8762]   H7563 the wicked H8104 : but such as keep [H8802]   H8451 the law H1624 contend [H8691]   with them.
H7451 Evil H582 men H995 understand [H8799]   H4941 not judgment H1245 : but they that seek [H8764]   H3068 the LORD H995 understand [H8799]   all things .
H2896 Better H7326 is the poor [H8802]   H1980 that walketh [H8802]   H8537 in his uprightness H6141 , than he that is perverse H1870 in his ways H6223 , though he be rich.
H5341 Whoso keepeth [H8802]   H8451 the law H995 is a wise [H8688]   H1121 son H7462 : but he that is a companion [H8802]   H2151 of riotous [H8802]   H3637 men shameth [H8686]   H1 his father.
H5392 He that by usury H8636 and unjust gain H7235 increaseth [H8688]   H1952 his substance H6908 , he shall gather [H8762]   H2603 it for him that will pity [H8802]   H1800 the poor.
H5493 He that turneth away [H8688]   H241 his ear H8085 from hearing [H8800]   H8451 the law H8605 , even his prayer H8441 shall be abomination.
H3477 Whoso causeth the righteous H7686 to go astray [H8688]   H7451 in an evil H1870 way H5307 , he shall fall [H8799]   H7816 himself into his own pit H8549 : but the upright H2896 shall have good H5157 things in possession [H8799]  .
H6223 The rich H376 man H2450 is wise H5869 in his own conceit H1800 ; but the poor H995 that hath understanding [H8688]   H2713 searcheth him out [H8799]  .
H6662 When righteous H5970 men do rejoice [H8800]   H7227 , there is great H8597 glory H7563 : but when the wicked H6965 rise [H8800]   H120 , a man H2664 is hidden [H8792]  .
H3680 He that covereth [H8764]   H6588 his sins H6743 shall not prosper [H8686]   H3034 : but whoso confesseth [H8688]   H5800 and forsaketh [H8802]   H7355 them shall have mercy [H8792]  .
H835 Happy H120 is the man H6342 that feareth [H8764]   H8548 alway H7185 : but he that hardeneth [H8688]   H3820 his heart H5307 shall fall [H8799]   H7451 into mischief.
H5098 As a roaring [H8802]   H738 lion H8264 , and a ranging [H8802]   H1677 bear H7563 ; so is a wicked H4910 ruler [H8802]   H1800 over the poor H5971 people.
H5057 The prince H2638 that wanteth H8394 understanding H7227 is also a great H4642 oppressor H8130 : but he that hateth [H8802]   H1215 covetousness H748 shall prolong [H8686]   H3117 his days.
H120 A man H6231 that doeth violence [H8803]   H1818 to the blood H5315 of any person H5127 shall flee [H8799]   H953 to the pit H8551 ; let no man stay [H8799]   him.
H1980 Whoso walketh [H8802]   H8549 uprightly H3467 shall be saved [H8735]   H6140 : but he that is perverse [H8737]   H1870 in his ways H5307 shall fall [H8799]   H259 at once.
H5647 He that tilleth [H8802]   H127 his land H7646 shall have plenty [H8799]   H3899 of bread H7291 : but he that followeth [H8764]   H7386 after vain H7389 persons shall have poverty enough.
H530 A faithful H376 man H7227 shall abound H1293 with blessings H213 : but he that maketh haste [H8801]   H6238 to be rich [H8687]   H5352 shall not be innocent [H8735]  .
H5234 To have respect [H8687]   H6440 of persons H2896 is not good H6595 : for for a piece H3899 of bread H1397 that man H6586 will transgress [H8799]  .
H376 He H926 that hasteth [H8737]   H1952 to be rich H7451 hath an evil H5869 eye H3045 , and considereth [H8799]   H2639 not that poverty H935 shall come [H8799]   upon him.
H3198 He that rebuketh [H8688]   H120 a man H310 afterwards H4672 shall find [H8799]   H2580 more favour H2505 than he that flattereth [H8688]   H3956 with the tongue.
H1497 Whoso robbeth [H8802]   H1 his father H517 or his mother H559 , and saith [H8802]   H6588 , It is no transgression H2270 ; the same is the companion H376 of a destroyer H7843   [H8688]  .
H7342 He that is of a proud H5315 heart H1624 stirreth up [H8762]   H4066 strife H982 : but he that putteth his trust [H8802]   H3068 in the LORD H1878 shall be made fat [H8792]  .
H982 He that trusteth [H8802]   H3820 in his own heart H3684 is a fool H1980 : but whoso walketh [H8802]   H2451 wisely H4422 , he shall be delivered [H8735]  .
H5414 He that giveth [H8802]   H7326 unto the poor [H8802]   H4270 shall not lack H5956 : but he that hideth [H8688]   H5869 his eyes H7227 shall have many H3994 a curse.
H7563 When the wicked H6965 rise [H8800]   H120 , men H5641 hide [H8735]   H6 themselves: but when they perish [H8800]   H6662 , the righteous H7235 increase [H8799]  .
ERV(i) 1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. 2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by men of understanding [and] knowledge the state [thereof] shall be prolonged. 3 A needy man that oppresseth the poor is [like] a sweeping rain which leaveth no food. 4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. 5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things. 6 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in [his] ways, though he be rich. 7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of gluttonous men shameth his father. 8 He that augmenteth his substance by usury and increase, gathereth it for him that hath pity on the poor. 9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination. 10 Whoso causeth the upright to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the perfect shall inherit good. 11 The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out. 12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, men hide themselves. 13 He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy. 14 Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. 15 [As] a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; [so is] a wicked ruler over a poor people. 16 The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor: [but] he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days. 17 A man that is laden with the blood of any person shall flee unto the pit; let no man stay him. 18 Whoso walketh uprightly shall be delivered: but he that is perverse in [his] ways shall fall at once. 19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain [persons] shall have poverty enough. 20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be unpunished. 21 To have respect of persons is not good: neither that a man should transgress for a piece of bread. 22 He that hath an evil eye hasteth after riches, and knoweth not that want shall come upon him. 23 He that rebuketh a man shall afterward find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue. 24 Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer. 25 He that is of a greedy spirit stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat. 26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. 27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. 28 When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
